VINAAYAKA PURAANAM 2

6e. காலநேமி

அங்குசத்தைப் பணித்தார் ஐங்கரன்,
“இங்கும் அங்கும் தேடி பந்திப்பாய்

தொந்தரவு செய்யும் காலநேமியை!”
வந்தது, போன வேகத்திலேயே அது.

பந்தித்துக் கொணர்ந்தது கயவனை; .
பகவான் முன் நிறுத்தியது அவனை!

கண்டோர் அஞ்சும் கொடிய உருவம்!
கண்களில் கனல், கோரைப் பற்கள்!

விநாயகரிடமிருந்து தப்பினான் அவன்;
விந்தையாக நீரின் உருவம் எடுத்தான்!

பிரளய ஜலம் போல பிரவகித்தான்;
மிரண்ட உயிர்களை மூழ்கடித்தான்!

உள்ளங்கையில் நீரை அடக்கிவிட்டு
அள்ளிப் பருக முயன்றார் ஐங்கரன்

காக்கை உருவில் பறந்தான் காலநேமி
சாகரம் வற்றியது; மலைகள் நடுங்கின!

தாமரை மலரை வீசினார் ஐங்கரன்!
தாமதம் இன்றித் தீ ஜ்வாலை ஆகி

எரித்தான் அதீத உஷ்ணத்தினால்
மிருகங்கள், பயிர்கள் உயிர்களை.

விநாயகர் மாறினார் மழையாக!
அனாயசமாக அணைத்தார் தீயை!

புயலாக மாறினான் காலநேமி!
புயலைத் தடுத்தார் விநாயகர்.

மலையாக உருவத்தை மாற்றினார்.
மலையைத் தாக்கினான் காலநேமி.

வேலை எறிந்தார் விநாயகர் அவன் மீது!
வேல் உண்டது சீறி வந்த பாணங்களை.

'வேலிடமிருந்து தப்ப வழி உள்ளதா?
வேழமுகனிடமிருந்து தப்பமுடியுமா?'

VINAAYAKA PURAANAM 2

#36e. Kaalanemi

Vinayaka ordered his ankusam. “Go forth and bind the wicked Kaalanemi. Bring him to me”. The ankusam left and returned almost immediately, dragging Kaalanemi along with it. Kaalanemi was fearsome with eyes like live coals and sharp canine teeth.

He transformed himself into water and flowed away like the praLaya jalam. He submerged all the frightened creatures. Vinayaka contained him in his palm and was about to drink him, but Kaalanemi became a crow and flew away. He was so huge and powerful that the seas dried up and the mountains trembled when he flew!

Vinayaka threw his lotus flower at Kaalanemi. He became a huge flame of fire and scorched the plants, animals and other forms of life with his intense heat. Vinayaka became a rain cloud and put out the flame and fire.

Kaalanemi became a stormy wind. Vinayaka transformed to a mountain and stopped the wind. Kaalanemi attacked the mountain with his vajrayudham. Vinayaka threw his spear on Kaalanemi. The spear swallowed all the weapons thrown by Kaalanemi.

'Was there any chance of escaping from the speeding spear? Was therE any chance of escaping from Vinayaka?'

4#23a. கிருஷ்ணன் (1)

கவலைப் பட்டு வருந்திய கம்சனின் மனக்
கவலை அதிகரித்தது ஒற்றர் செய்தி கேட்டு.

“நந்த கோபன் இல்லத்தில் இன்று – ஆ
நந்த வைபோகம் நடந்தது இனிதாக!

ஆண்மகவு பிறந்ததாம் நந்தன் மனைவிக்கு!
காண்பதரிது இத்தகைய கொண்டாட்டத்தை!”

நாரதர் கூறியிருந்தார் முன்பே கம்சனிடம்,
நந்த கிராமத்தில் தேவர்கள் அவதரித்ததை.

அனுப்பினான் கண்ணனைக் கொல்ல அசுரரை.
அனுப்பினான் கண்ணன் அவர்களை எமனுலகு.

பால் கொடுத்துக் கொல்லச் சென்ற பூதகியோ
பாலுடன் பறி கொடுத்தாள் தன்னுயிரையும்!

தேனுகன், பிரலம்பன், பகன், வத்சன் என்றுத்
தேடிச் சென்ற அசுரர் திரும்பவே இல்லை !

பலராமன் சளைத்தவன் அல்ல கண்ணனுக்கு
பலவான்; கொலைத் தொழிலில் வல்லவன்.

மரணம் நெருங்குகிறதோ என்றஞ்சினான் கம்சன்
மரணம் விளைவிக்க வேண்டும் அவர்களுக்கே!

வில்யாகம் என்று வரவழைத்தான் இருவரையும்
கொல்வதற்குச் செய்தான் ஏற்பாடுகளைப் பலமாக.

அனுப்பினான் உத்தமர் அக்ரூரரைத் தன் தூதாக;
அனுப்பினான் நந்தன் அக்ரூருடன் சிறுவர்களை!

சென்றனர் யாகசாலை சகோதரர் இருவரும்,
துண்டாக்கினர் யாகவில்லை சிறார் இருவரும்.

கொல்ல வந்தது யானை குவலையாபீடம்.
கொல்லப்பட்டது மதயானை சிறார்களால்.

4#23a. Krishna (1)

Kamsa was very worried and the news brought to him by his spies made him even more worried. They said, “Nandagopan’s wife has been blessed with a baby boy. The whole village is celebrating the new arrival in a very grand manner ”

Naarada had already told Kamsa that the Devaas were taking birth in the Nandagraam with many names and in many forms. He sent his mighty asuraas to kill Krishna growing up as the son of Yasoda and Nandagopan.

But in stead, Krishna killed all those asuraas who came to kill him. Putana went to feed Krishna with her poisoned milk but Krishna drank her life force along with her milk!

Dhenuka, Pralamba, Baga, Vatsa were all killed by Krishna and Balram quite playfully.

Kamsa became more and more worried as the days passed by. He decided to invite Krishna and Balram for a Dhanur yaagam and get them killed by treachery.

Akroora was sent to bring Krishna and Balram for the Dhanur yaagam. Nandagopan sent the two lads with Akroora. The two brothers Balram and Krishna went to the yaaga saalaa.

They broke the yaaga Dhanus into two parts. Kuvalayaapeetam – a mad elephant – came charging on to them but Krishna killed the mountainous elephant quite playfully.

KANDA PURAANAM - ASURA KAANDAM

38. இந்திரன் திரும்புதல்.

நடந்தவற்றைக் கண்டார் நாரதர்.
இடபவாகனனின் கயிலை அடைந்தார்.

இறைவனைத் தரிசிக்கக் காத்திருந்த
இந்திரனிடம் கூறினார் விவரங்களை.

துயருற்ற இந்திராணியை எண்ணித்
துயருற்றான் மனம் நொந்த இந்திரன்.

நந்தி தேவரைக் கண்டு வணங்கினான்.
“நான் திரும்புகின்றேன் நிலவுலகு!

இனிய இறை அருளைப் பெறும் காலம்
கனியவில்லை போலும் இன்னமும்.

நிலவுலகு எய்தியபின் புதிய தவம்
நிலவணிப் பிரானை நோக்கிப் புரிவேன்.”

நந்திதேவன் விடை தந்தான் உடனே.
இந்திராணியிடம் விரைந்தான் இந்திரன்.

சீகாழி சென்றடைந்தான் இந்திரன்.
வீரமஹாகாளருக்கு விடை கொடுத்தான்.

அயிராணிக்கு ஆறுதல் கூறினான்.
துயர் துடைத்து பயம் நீக்கினான்.

“சிறைப் பிடிப்பேன்” என்று சூளுரைத்த
அரக்கியின் அச்சுறுத்தல் ஒருபுறம்.

பொன் மேருமலை சென்றனர் மீண்டும்.
பொன்னார் மேனியனை நோக்கித் தவம்!

KANDA PURAANAM - ASURA KAANDAM

2 # 38. Indra returns.

Narada watched the happenings. He rushed to Kailash and reported the matter to Indra.
Indra became very upset and started worrying about the safety of his dear wife. He decided to return to earth.

He took leave of Nandhi Devan and said,”The time is not yet ripe to get the grace of Lord Siva. I shall return to the earth and start a fresh penance seeking Lord Siva’s grace.”

He hurried to Seekaazi. He bade farewell to Mahaa kaalar. He consoled Indraani. The threat by Ajamukhi made him decide to return to mount Meru.

He left for mount Meru with the other devas and they started a fresh penance seeking the grace of Lord Siva.

6f. விக்ன விநாயகர்

தப்பவே முடியாது என்ற நிலை வந்ததும்,
அப்பனிடம் சரண் புகுந்தான் காலநேமி.

“வேலிடமிருந்து காப்பாற்றுங்கள் ஐயனே!
வேலை முடிந்ததும் சாந்தம் அடையாமல்,

மேலும் கொடுமைகள் புரிந்தேன் – இனி
மேலும் துன்புறுத்த மாட்டேன் ஐயனே!”

வேலாயுதத்தைத் திருப்பி அழைத்தார்;
காலநேமியின் அச்சத்தைப் போக்கினார்.

“சரண் அடைந்தவரை அழிப்பது இல்லை
முரண் படாமல் கூறுவததைச் செய்வாய்.

பக்தர்களைத் பற்றினால் அழித்துவிடுவேன்
மற்றவர்களைப் பற்றலாம் நீ!” அனுமதித்தார்.

“உயிர் கொடுத்த உத்தமரே! பணிவேன் என்
உயிர் உள்ளவரையில் உங்கள் ஆணைகளை!”

விக்கினங்கள் புரிந்து வந்த காலநேமியை
விக்கின விநாயகர் அடக்கினார் என்றதும்,

“எம்பெருமானே குழந்தையாகப் பிறந்தும்
துன்பமுற்று காட்டுக்கு அனுப்பிவிட்டேன்”

வரேண்ய ராஜன் ஓடினான் காட்டுக்கு.
பராசரரிடம் கோரினான் தன் மகனை!

பெற்றனர் வரங்கள் ஐயனைப் பெற்றவர்;
பெற்றனர் வரங்கள் ஐயனை வளர்த்தவர்.

திரும்பினார் தம் லோகத்துக்கு விநாயகர்;
அருமையான புதிய பட்டப் பெயருடன்!

#36f. Vigna Vinayaka

When Kaalanemi was sure that it was impossible to escape from the spear, he surrendered to lord Vinayaka.”Please protect me from your spear. I should have become calm and peaceful after completing my mission set by Indra.

But I continued to do harm and destroy all the Yaaga and Yagna. I will not hurt or harm anyone in the future. I promise”

Vinayaka called back the spear and saved Kaalanemi from destruction. He told Kaalanemi, “I will not destroy anyone who seeks my protection. In future do not trouble any of my bhaktas. If you trouble, I will have to destroy you.”

Kaalanemi said,”You have spared my life. I will obey your commands as long as I live”

VareNya Raajan realized his folly. He had got Vinayaka himself as his son and yet he was foolish enough to disown the child. He ran to meet sage Paraasarar. He wanted his son back.

But Vinayaka said, ” My mission has been accomplished and I have to return to my world.” He showered many boons on the King and Queen as well as the sage Paraasara and his wife, before returning to his own land.

He got a new title Vigna Vinayaka – since he conquered Kaalanemi who was creating a lot of problems in the world.

4#23b. கிருஷ்ணன் (2)

மல்ல வீரர்களைக் கொன்றனர் இருவரும்
மல் யுத்தம் முறைப்படிப் புரிந்து வீழ்த்தி.

இழுத்தான் கிருஷ்ணன் கம்சனின் முடியை!
விழுந்தான் கம்சன் அரியணையிலிருந்து!

அறைந்து கொன்றான் கம்சனைக் கண்ணன்;
சிறை மீட்டான் தேவகி வசுதேவர்களையும்.

முடி சூட்டினான் மீண்டும் உக்கிர சேனருக்கு;
குடி மக்கள் உளமகிழ மலர்ந்தது நல்லாட்சி!

குருகுலம் சென்றனர் பிறகு சாந்திபநியிடம்;
திரும்பினர் ஆயகலைகள் அனைத்தும் கற்று.

வருந்தினான் ஜராசந்தன் கொல்லப்பட்ட தன்
மருமகன் கம்சனை எண்ணி எண்ணி ஏங்கி!

இள வயதிலேயே புகழுடன் விளங்கிய
இரு சகோதரர்கள் மீதும் அதீத அசூயை.

முற்றுகை இட்டான் மதுராபுரியை அவன்;
வெற்றி கிட்டவில்லை தொடர்ந்த போரில்!

வசப்படுத்திக் கொண்டான் காலயவனனை;
வசப்படுத்த அனுப்பினான் மதுரா புரியை;

“வரம் பெற்ற யவனனை வெல்வது கடினம்;
வரலாம் ஆபத்து எப்போதும் இவர்களால்!

வெளியேறி விடுவோம் மதுராபுரியிலிருந்து;
குடியேறுவோம் இனி துவாரகையில்!” என்று

சென்று அடைந்தனர் துவாரகாபுரியை – பிறகு
சென்றனர் ராம கிருஷ்ணர்கள் மதுராபுரிக்கு.

4#23b. Krishna (2)

Krishna and Balraam killed the wicked wrestlers Malla and ChaaNoora in their own sport. Krishna went into the durbar and pulled Kamsan by his hair.

Kamsan fell down from his throne. Krishna sat on his chest an killed him with a mighty blow. Devaki and Vasudev were released from the prison. Ugrasena was made the king once again – much to the joy of the citizens.

Balraam and Krishna went to Gurukulam with Sage Saantipani. They learned all the sixty four arts in no time and returned home.

Jaraasandan could not forget nor forgive the death of Kamsan. He wanted to avenge for that. He lay a siege on Madhurapuri. The siege was followed by a war which lasted for seventeen days, But Jaraasandan could not win in the war.

He befriended Kaalayavanan and tried to win Madhuraapuri through his help. Krishna felt that it was difficult to win the Kaala yavanan who had received special boons. He decided that the citizens of Madhuraapuri should go to Dwarakaapuri and live there.

After shifting all the men and their belongings to Dwaarakaa through his Maayaa. Krishna went to Madhuraapuri with Balraam bur did not enter the city.

39. சூரபத்மன் சிறப்பு

அசுர மாதர்கள் சென்றடைந்தனர்
அசுர அரசனின் அத்தாணிமண்டபம்.

அரியணையில் இருந்தான் சூரபத்மன்.
பெரிய வெண்கொற்றக் குடைகளின் கீழ்.

சிங்கமுகன், தாரகன் இருந்தனர் இருபுறம்;
மங்கையர், மக்கள் சூழ்ந்து இருந்தனர்.

சாமரங்கள் அசைந்து வீசின காற்றை.
தேவமகளிர் இயற்றினார் நாட்டியம்.

பஞ்சாங்கம் சொல்ல வந்த பிரமன்
பக்கவாட்டில் ஒதுங்கி அமர்ந்தான்.

வாழ்த்துரை வழங்கினர் முனிவர்கள்.
வாழும் மங்கையர் சுற்றினர் ஆரத்தி.

மங்கலம் பாடினார் கின்னரர், சித்தர்;
பொங்கி வழிந்தன செல்வம், மகிழ்ச்சி.

ஆயிரம் கோடி பொற்றூண் மண்டபம்,
ஓவியங்கள், கண்ணாடிகள் நிறைந்தது.

ஆயிரம் யோசனைகள் பரந்த மண்டபம்!
அரியணை ரத்தினம் இழைத்த செம்பொன்.

2 # 39. The glory of Soorapadman.

The two asura women reached the durbar of Soorapadman. He was seated on his throne under the beautiful, royal, white umbrella.

Singamukhan and Taarakan were seated on his two sides. His wives and sons were seated around him.

Gentle air was blown by the saamaram. The apsaras danced and kinnaras and siddhas sang.

Brahma had arrived to read the day’s panchaangam. The rushis blessed Soorapadman.

Auspicious women did the aarathi. The whole place overflowed with wealth and happiness.

The mandapam had a thousand crore gold pillars and sprawled over an area of a thousand yojana. Paintings and mirrors decorated the mandapam.

Soorapadman’s throne was made of the purest gold and studded with priceless gem stones.

7a. வேதங்கள் எங்கே?

தேவர், அசுரர் இடையே நடந்தது,
தேவையற்ற நீண்ட யுத்தம் ஒன்று!

வேதங்களையே அஸ்த்திரமாக்கி
தேவர்கள் வென்றனர் அசுரர்களை.

தோற்ற அசுரர்கள் ஓடி ஒளிந்தனர்;
தேற்றினார் சங்க, கமல அசுரர்கள்.

“வேதங்கள் ஆயுதங்களாக மாறின;
வேதங்கள் இருப்பது பிரம்மனிடம்.

கைப் பற்ற வேண்டும் அவற்றை நாம்;
கைமேல் வெற்றி தரும் அவை நமக்கு!”

சங்காசுரன் அனுப்பினான் இளவலை;
“எங்கிருந்தாலும் தேடிக் கொண்டு வா!”:

பிரம்ம லோகம் சென்றான் மாயையால்;
பிரம்ம தேவனைக் கண்டான் தியானத்தில்

எளிதாகத் திருடிவிட்டான் வேதங்களை;
ஒளித்தும் விட்டான் சங்காசுரன் கடலில்!

நிஷ்டை கலைந்த பிரம்மன் திடுக்கிட்டான்;
கஷ்டகாலம் வேதங்களைக் காணவில்லை!

குழப்பம் நிலவியது எல்லா இடங்களிலும்;
வழக்கமான நீதிநெறிமுறைகள் குலைந்தன.

ஞான திருஷ்டியில் கண்டான் பிரம்மன்
ஞானச் சுவடிகள் கடல் நீரின் அடியில்!

பரந்தாமன் பாற்கடலில் அறிதுயிலில்;
பரமசிவனை நாடி ஓடினார் பிரம்மன்;

“விநாயகரே வெல்ல வல்லவர் அசுரரை;
விநாயகர் அருளைக் கோருவாய்!” என்றார்.

பிரமன் அமர்ந்தான் தன் பத்மாசனத்தில்,
கரிமுகன் தோன்றினான் பிரத்தியக்ஷமாக

#37a. Where are the Vedas?

A long war went on between the Deva and Asura for no real reason at all. Finally the Deva defeated the Asura by using the Vedas as an asthram. The Asuras got defeated and went into hiding.

Sankaasuran and Kamalaasuran were not happy with this defeat. They spoke to the other Asuras. “We can win over the Deva if we have the Vedas with us. We must get hold of them somehow”

Sankasuran sent his younger brother Kamalaasuran to steal the Vedas. Kamalaasuran went to Satylalokam using his power of Maya. He found Brahma in deep meditation and it became very easy to steal the Vedas. He hid them under the sea water.

When Brahma came out of his meditation, he found that the Vedas had been stolen. He got upset since without the Vedas, confusion would spread everywhere and Dharma would take a back seat.

He saw in his divya dhrushti that the Vedas were hidden under the sea water. He ran to Vishnu for help but he was asleep on Aadiseshan.

He then ran to Parama Sivan. Siva told him, “Those powerful Asuras can be destroyed only by Vinayaka. Seek his grace.” Brahma sat on his lotus aasanam and meditated on Vinayaka.

Vinayaka appeared to give a dharshan to Brahma.

4#23c. கிருஷ்ணன் (3)

மதுராபுரி இருந்தது காலயவனனின் கீழ்!
மதுராபுரி நிறைந்திருந்தது படைகளால்.

அழகிய தோற்றத்துடன் ராம, கிருஷ்ணர்
அளித்தனர் தரிசனம் நகருக்கு வெளியே

அனைவரும் வந்தனர் அவர்களைக் காண;
யவனனும் வந்தான் அவர்களைக் காண.

நடந்தான் தாமரைமாலை அணிந்த கண்ணன்;
நடந்தான் யவனனும் அவனைத் தொடர்ந்து.

நுழைந்தான் கண்ணன் முசுகுந்தன் இருப்பிடம்;
நுழைந்தான் யவனன் கண்ணனைத் தொடர்ந்து.

கண்ணன் எனக் கருதி உறங்கும் முசுகுந்தனைக்
கால்களால் எட்டி உதைத்தான் கால யவனன்

கண்களைத் திறந்தார் உறங்கிய முசுகுந்தர்;
மண்ணில் விழுந்து எரிந்தான் கால யவனன்!

அபகரித்தான் ருக்மிணியை கிருஷ்ணன் தேரில்
சுப விவாஹம் செய்து கொண்டான் முறைப்படி

மற்ற மனைவியர் ஜாம்பவதி, சத்யபாமை,
மித்ரவிந்தை, காளிந்தி, லக்ஷ்மணை, பத்திரை.

கருவுற்று ஈன்றாள் பிரத்யுமனனை ருக்மிணி;
கவர்ந்து சென்றான் சம்பசுரன் குழந்தையை!

மூழ்கினர் துன்பக்கடலில் கண்ணன், ருக்மிணி
வீழ்ந்தனர் தேவியின் திருவடிகளே கதியென.

“கட்டுக் காவலை மீறி உள்ளே நுழைந்து
கடத்திச் சென்றது யாராக இருக்க முடியும் ?

மீட்டுத் தா எங்கள் குழந்தையை எம்மிடம்!”
கேட்டனர் தேவியை இருவரும் தொழுது.

4#23c. Krishna (3)

Madhuraapuri was under the power of Kaala yavanan. It was filled with his army. Krishna and Balraam did not enter the city but gave a darshan at the outskirt of the city. Everyone came to have a darshan of these two. Kaala yavanan also came along with the others.

Krishna pretended to be very scared on seeing him and walked away fast with his lotus garland swaying. Kaala yavanan followed him closely. Krishna entered into a cave where Muchukundan was in deep sleep. Kaala yavanan also followed him into the cave.

It was very dark inside the cave. Kaala yavanan mistook the sleeping Muchukundan to be Krishna hiding and kicked him hard.

Muchukundan opened his eyes in anger and Kaala yavanan got burnt down to ashes.

Krishna abducted Rukmini during her swayamvaram and married her. He had some more wifes such as Jaambavati, Satyabhamaa, Mitravindha, KaalLiNdi, LakshmanNai and Badra.

Rukmini gave birth to Pradyumnan. The child was kidnapped by Sambaasuran. Krishna and Rukmini were immersed in sorrow and prayed to Devi to restore the lost child to them.
Devi consoled them, “Do not worry about your stolen son. He will return to you when he becomes sixteen Years of age and kill the wicked Sambaasura. You have to suffer this grief as a result of the actions performed by you in your earlier births”

40. நகரில் நுழைதல்

.துன்முகியுடன் நுழைந்தாள் அஜமுகி
அண்ணன் தலைநகர் மகேந்திரபுரியில்;

“இச் செயலைச் செய்தவர் யார்? யார்?”

பலவகை வேலைகளையும் விட்டு விட்டு
கவலையுடன் அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்தனர்.

“இச்செயலைச் செய்தது சிவபெருமானா?”

“இச்செயலைச் செய்தவள் துர்கையோ?”

“அய்யனாரின் கை வேலைகளில் ஒன்றா?”

“ஆனைமுகனின் குறும்புகளில் ஒன்றா?”

“மாலின் செயலா இது என்று கூறுவாய்!”

“முனிவரின் சாபமா இது சொல்லுவாய்!”

“இருவரும் சண்டை இட்டுக் கொண்டனரோ?”

“ஒருவர் கையை ஒருவர் வெட்டினார்களோ ?”

“அஜமுகியின் கையை வெட்டியது யார்?”
அத்தாணி மண்டபத்தை அடைந்தனர் அவர்கள்.

2 # 40. Entering the capital.

Ajamukhi and Durmukhi entered the capital city Veera Mahendra Puram of Soorapadman. The asuras were shocked to see the plight of the two women.

They dropped whatever they were doing at that time and surrounded the two. They threw numerous questions at the women.

“Who did this to you two?”
“Was this done by Siva himself?”
“Was this done by Durga?’
“Was this done by Ayyanaar or Ainkaran?”
“Was this done by Vishnu?”
“Were you cursed by the ruhis?”
“May be they just fought each other!”
“May be they cut off each other’s hand?”
“Who really did this to Ajamukhi?”

They had reached the durbar of the Soorapadman by then.

7b. மல்லாலர்

“வேதங்கள் அழிந்து போனதாக எண்ணி
வேதனை கொள்ளாதே பிரம்மதேவனே!

வேதம், ஆகமம், புராணங்கள் மூன்றும்
பேதமின்றி ஆயின எனது முக்கண்கள்.

கமலாசுரனை அழிப்பேன் விரையில்;
கவலையை ஒழித்து விடு!” என்றார்.

சாந்தம் அடைந்தான் பிரம்ம தேவன்;
சத்யலோகம் திரும்பிச் சென்றான்.

அழகிய அந்தணன் ஆனான் கணபதி;
பழகிய கணங்கள் ஆயினர் சீடர்கள்.

சுந்தர ஆசிரமத்தைச் சென்று சேர்ந்திட,
வந்து பணிந்தனர் அங்கிருந்த முனிவர்.

“உம்மைக் கண்டது எம் கவலை மறைந்தது
எம்மை கௌரவித்துத் தங்குவீர் இங்கேயே ”

“மல்லாலர் என்பது அந்தணன் என் பெயர்
சொல்லக் கேட்டேன் நால்வேதங்கள் பற்றி

களவு போயினவாம் வேதங்கள் நான்கும்
தளர்ந்து போயினவாம் நீதிநெறிமுறைகள்
என்னிடம் உள்ளன அதே வேதங்கள்
உதவுகின்றேன் இயன்ற வரையில்!”

இருக்கக இடம் தந்தனர் அவருக்கு;
திரும்ப உபதேசித்தார் வேதங்களை!

தர்மங்கள் மீண்டும் தழைத்தோங்கின;
கர்மங்கள் மீண்டும் நீதிநெறிப்பட்டன;

உலகில் நிகழும் மாற்றங்களை எல்லாம்
உணர்ந்தான் கமலாசுரன் உள்ளது உள்ளபடி!

சங்காசுரனிடம் சென்று செப்பினான் அவன்
எங்கும் வேதங்கள் மீண்டும் தழைப்பதை.

VINAAYAKA PURAANAM 2

#37b. Mallaalar

Vinayaka spoke to Brahma, “Do not feel sad that The Vedas have been destroyed. My three eyes are the Aagamam, Vedam and PuraaNam.

I will spread The Vedas again. I will destroy Kamalaasuran soon. ” Brahma got consoled and went back to his Satyalokam with his mind at peace.

Vinayaka transformed himself into a handsome brahmachaari. His gaNaas became his disciples. The group went to the Sundara Ashram. The rushis living in that Ashram felt reassured by the divine look of the brahmachaari. They came running to the group and welcomed them heartily.

“Your very appearance has reassured us that all is not lost yet. Please stay in our ashram and honor us with your august presence.”
Vinayaka spoke to them,

”My name is Mallaalar. I heard about the Vedas being stolen by the asuras and Dharma being disrupted in the world. I have the Vedas with me. I can help you to spread them again on earth”

Mallalar and his disciples stayed in the Sundara ashram. Everyday the rushis learned The Vedas from this divine brahmachaari. Dharma was reestablished and the confusions spreading in the world was controlled by the spread of Vedas.

Kamalaasuran noticed all these changes and went to his elder brother Sankaasuran and reported, “The Vedas are not dead. The are alive and spreading very fast.”

ஐயத்தை எழுப்பினான் ஜனமேஜயன் மீண்டும்
“வையத்தின் நாயகன் கண்ணன் அறியாததா?

துக்கம் எதற்கு வைகுந்த வாசனுக்கு – யார்
தூக்கிச் செல்ல முடியும் அவன் மகனை ?”

“ஜனமேஜயனே சொல்கின்றேன் கேள் – உன்
மனம் ஒன்றி கவனமாக நான் கூறப் போவதை.

மாயை வசப்படுத்தும் மனிதர்கள் மனங்களை
மாயையை வசப்படுத்துவர் முதிர்ந்த ஞானிகள்

முக்குணம் கொண்டவர்கள் மனிதர்கள்
முக்குணம் கொண்டவர்கள் தேவர்கள்

உடல் உணர்வு கொள்ளும் ஜீவராசிகள்
உடல் உபாதை கொள்ளும் ஜீவராசிகள்

வாழ்ந்தான் ராமன் ஒரு மனிதன் போலவே
வாழ்ந்தான் கண்ணன் ஒரு மனிதன் போலவே

அரசுரிமை இழந்தான் ராமன் – கனகம்
மரவுரி தரித்துச் சென்றான் இருவருடன்.

பறி கொடுத்தான் சீதையை ராவணனிடம்!
பரிதவித்தான் சீதையைத் தேடி அலைந்து!

பரிசோதித்தான் சீதையை மீட்ட பின்பு
எரியும் நெருப்பில் இறங்கச் செய்து!

பழிக்கு அஞ்சி கர்ப்பிணியைக் கைவிட்டு
பழி தேடி கொண்டான் தன் நற்பெயருக்கு.

போரிட்டான் லவ, குசர்களுடன் கடுமையாக.
அறியவில்லை அவர்கள் தன் புதல்வர் என்று.

4#24a. Krishna (4)

King Janamejayan asked one more doubt now. “Krishna is the lord of the world. How can he suffer due to ignorance like an ordinary man? Who can steal his son and get away with it?”

Sage Vyaasaa replied,”Oh King! Maayaa covers our intellect and deludes our mind. A Gnaani may be able to conquer Mayaa but Maayaa conquers the ordinary jeevaa. The Deva, Manushya and Asura all have the three gunaas namely Satvam, Rajas and Tamas.

The jeevaas have sense organs and physical needs. Raama lived like an ordinary mortal. Krishna lived like an ordinary man. Raama lost his throne. He went for vanavaasm with his wife and younger brother. Seetaa was abducted by RaavaN. Raamaa searched for her like a mad man everywhere.

After releasing her from Asokha vanam he tested her purity by making her do agni pravesam. Even after that he gave her up and forsook her when she was pregnant with his twin sons. He fought with his own sons Lava and Kusa little realizing that they were his own flesh and blood.”

41. அஜமுகி அரற்றுதல்.

அத்தாணி மண்டபத்தை அடைந்தவுடன்
கத்தி அழலானாள் அசுரமன்னன் தங்கை.

“என்னைக் காத்துத் திரிவேன் என்றாயே!
என்னைக் கை விட்டு விட்டாயே தாயே!”

ஆபத்துக்கு உதவாத சகோதரர் எதற்கு?
ஆண்மையின்றிச் சிலையென நின்றீரே!

இந்திரன் மீன் சுமந்து திரிகின்றானாம்.
இந்திரனின் ஏவலாள் செய்தது காணீர்!

கதிரவனைக் கைப்பற்றிக் கட்டிப்போட்ட
அதிசய மருமகனே என் நிலையைப் பார்!

மாலின் ஆழியை அணிகலன் ஆக்கியவா!
மாதின் கை வெட்டுண்டது அறியாயோ?

முனிவன் பிழைத்திருக்கின்றான் இன்னும்,
தனித்தே என் மகன்களை அழித்த பின்னும்!

நல்லாட்சி நடத்துகின்றாய் அண்ணா நீ!
பொல்லாத உயிர் இனி எனக்கெதற்கு?

அவமானமே என்னைக் கொன்று விடும்.
எவர் முகத்திலும் இனி விழிக்கமாட்டேன்!’

அரற்றிக்கொண்டு துன்முகியுடன் சென்று
புரண்டாள் அண்ணன் கால்களில்விழுந்து!
