7#34c. Atma GnAnam (3)
ParamAtmA has neither a beginning nor an end. It is permanent. It is eternal. It does not enjoy pleasures nor suffer pains. It is smaller than an atom and bigger than the whole Universe. It resides in the heart of a jeevA. It extends and lends it own greatness to the jeevA.
If the body of a jeevA is considered to be a chariot, then God is the owner of that beautiful chariot. Intellect is the charioteer. The unruly sense organs are the uncontrollable horses attached to the chariot. Mind the girdle controlling horses drawing the chariot.
A jeevA enjoys pleasures and suffers pains. The sense organs and the mind help a jeevA to experience the pleasures and pains.
If a jeevA has learned to differentiate his AtmA form his three sareerams and his pancha kOsams, and if he is able to see the ParamAtmA in his own AtmA, he will surely reach the highest destination as his final abode.
One must meditate on Devi without interruption. One must employ his mind, words and body in her worship.
‘Hreem’ is the mantra of Devi. It denotes the ‘HreenkAra swaroopa thureeyam.’ In this ‘h’ represents the gross body (the sthoola sareeram); ‘r’ represents the subtle body ( the sookshma sareeran) and ‘m’ represents the causal body (the kAraNa sareeram) and ‘m’ denotes the state of Tureeyam.
The dhyAnam should be directed towards the akanda-sat-chit-Anandha-swaroopiNi-Devi. The dhyAnam must culminate in the sAkshAtkAram of Devi (the dharshan of Devi).
One who could achieve this will achieve oneness by merging with Devi. His ignorance will be destroyed and true knowledge will be born.
