3 # 13. சதமுகன்.

ஆயிரம் பேரைக் கொன்ற வீரவாகுவின்
ஆற்றல் கண்டான் அசுரன் சூரபத்மன்.

அருகில் இருந்த சதமுகனிடம் சொன்னான்,
"விரைந்து பிடித்து இழுத்துகொண்டு வா!"

சூரபத்மனின் ஆணையைக் கேட்டவன்
நூறு ஆயிரம் வீரர்களுடன் சென்றான்.

வீரவாகுவை வழிமறித்தான் சதமுகன்
"விட்டுவிடுவேன் என எண்ணினாயா?"

நூறு ஆயிரம் வீரர்களும் எய்தனர்
ஒருசேரப் பற்பல படைகலன்களை.

முடிகள் இருபதினாயிரம் கொண்ட
மலையைப பறித்து எறிந்தார் வீரவாகு.

படைஞர்கள் உடல் உடைந்து போனது.
படையின்றிப் பொருதான் சதமுகன்.

மலையைப் பிடுங்கி வீரவாகு வீச
கணைகளால் அழித்தான் சதமுகன்.

வில்லை முறித்துவிட்டார் வீரவாகு.
தொல்லை தரக் கரங்களை நீட்டினான்.

மார்பில் தாக்கி, நிலத்தில் வீழ்த்தி
மண்ணில் தேய்த்துக் கொன்றார்.

வாழ்க வளமுடன், விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.
 
3 # 13. Sathamukhan.

Soorapadman watched with surprise the way Veerabaahu killed a thousand asuras. He ordered Sathamukhan,"Capture that fellow and imprison him".

Sathamukhan rushed with one hundred thousand soldiers. He stopped Veerabaahu and asked, "Did you think you can get away?"

All the soldiers shot various asthras on Veerabaahu. He threw a mountain which has 20,000 peaks. It crushed the hundred thousand soldiers. Sathamukhan fought single-handed.

Veerabaahu threw another mountain on him. Sathamukhan shattered it with an arrow. Veerabaahu broke his bow.

He attacked Sathamukhan and made him fall on the ground. He crushed Sathamukhan under his feet and killed him.
 
3 # 14. பேருருவம்கொள்ளல்.

சூரபத்மனின் வீரமகேந்திரத்தை
வீரவாகு அழிக்க விரும்பினார்.

முருகக் கடவுளை மனதில் போற்ற
உருவம் வளர்ந்து முட்டியது விண்ணை.

அளந்தன திக்குகளை அவர் தோள்கள்!
அளந்தன நிலத்தை அவர் கால்கள்;

நடுங்கியது உடல் பாரத்தால் நகரம்;
நான்கு புறங்களிலும் ஏறியது கடல்நீர்.

காவல் புரியும் அவுணர்கள் உடனே
ஆவலுடன் போர் புரியத்தொடங்கினர்.

இடி ஒலி ஒத்த நகைப்பொலியால்
மடமை எய்தியது மறவர் குழு.

உதைத்துத் துவைத்துப் புரட்டி ,
உருட்டி அழித்தார் அவுணர்களை.

ஊனை உண்டு மகிழப் பறவைகள்
உற்சாகத்துடன் பறந்து வந்தன.

வாழ்க வளமுடன், விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.
 
3 # 14. Viswaroopam.

Veerabaahu wished to destroy Soorapadman's capital city. He contemplated on Murugan and his body started to grow bigger and bigger.

His viswaroopam touched the heaven and earth. The city shook under his tremendous weight. It sank deeper into the sea.

The asuras guarding the city fell upon Veerabaahu. He laughed so loudly that the asuras lost their mind in the terrifying sound.

He kicked them, pushed them, beat them up and crushed them to death.

The carrion birds flew to the city eager to devour the dead asuras.
 
3 # 15. அழித்தல் செய்தல்.

சூரபத்மனின் அரசவை மண்டபத்தை
வீரவாகு அழித்திட விரும்பினார்.

அருகிலிருந்த செய்குன்று ஒன்றினால்
பெரும் பகுதியை உடைத்து விட்டார்.

ஓடினர் சிலர்; மாண்டனர் சிலர்;
ஒடிந்தது சிலரது கை கால்கள்;

ஆற்றலைக் கண்டதும் அவர்மேல்
சீற்றம் கொண்டான் சூரபத்மன்.

"ஆறுமுகனின் தூதன் வீரவாகு
அழித்துவிட்டான் அரசவையை.

பிடித்து கொணருங்கள் உயிரோடு!
அடைத்து வைப்போம் சிறையில்!"

நகர் வளத்தைத் அழிக்க விரும்பி
தகர்த்தார் மண்டபங்கள், கோபுரம்.

உடைத்து வீழ்த்தினார் மதில்களை.
படைகளைப் பந்தாடினார் திசைகளில்,

செய்குன்றுகளைப்பறித்து எறிந்ததில்
சோலைகள் முற்றிலும் நாசமாயின.

விண்ணில் பறந்து சென்ற பின்னர்
மண்ணில் வீழ்ந்து நகரை அழித்தன.

வாழ்க வளமுடன், விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.
 
3 # 15. The destruction.

Veerabaahu wanted to destroy Soorapadman's durbar. He grabbed an artificial mound nearby and smashed the durbar. Some of the asuras got killed; some of them ran away and some others had fractured limbs.

Soorapadman got violent and commanded his army,
"Murugan's messenger has destroyed my durbar. Arrest him and throw him in a prison."

Veerabaahu decided to destroy the city and he smashed the mandapam, gopurams and the surrounding wall of the city.

The army was kicked away in every direction. Then he threw the artificial mounds. They flew in the sky, landed on the city and destroyed it completely.
 
3 # 16. சஹஸ்ரவாகு.

வீரமகேந்திரபுரம் அழிந்து கொண்டிருக்க
வீரவாகுவைச் சூழ்ந்தனர் அவுணர்கள்;

ஆரவாரம் செய்தனர்; பொருதலாயினர்;
மாமரத்தைப் பற்றி சுழற்றினார் வீரவாகு.

ஆயிரம் தோள் உடையவர் செலுத்தினர்
ஆயிரக் கணக்கில் தாம் கொணர்ந்திருந்த

தோமரம், குலிசம் எனும் படைக்கலங்களை!
மாமரத்தால் தூளாக்கினார் வீரவாகு.

ஆயிரம் தோளினர் அருகினில் நெருங்க
மாமரத்தாலேயே அடித்துக் கொன்றார்.

ஆயிரம் தோளினர் பெருக்கிய குருதி
வாரிக் கொண்டு போயிற்று வளங்களை.

வாழ்க வளமுடன், விசாலாக்ஷிரமணி.
 
3 # 16. Sahasrabaahu.

When Veeramahendrapuram was being destroyed by Veerabaahu,
the Sahasrabaahus who had a thousand arms surrounded him.

They made a terrible noise and attacked him. Veerabaahu swirled a huge tree and met their attacks. All the asthras shot by the asuras were rendered useless by the huge swirling tree.

He then hit the Saharabahus with the tree and killed them. The blood from their bodies washed away whatever wealth had been left behind.
 
3 # 17 a. வஜ்ஜிரவாகு.

சூரபத்மனின் தூதர்கள் நின்றனர்
போரைப் பார்த்தபடியே விண்ணில்.

ஆயிரந்தோளர் அழிந்த உடனேயே
பாய்ந்து சென்று செய்தியைக் கூறினர்.

வஜ்ஜிரவாகு பத்துத் தலை வீரன்;
வஜ்ஜிர உடல் சூரனின் இளையமகன்;

பொங்கி எழுந்தான் சூளுரைத்தான்,
"எங்கிருந்தாலும் பிடித்து வருவேன்!"

பூண்டான் போர்க்கோலம் வஜ்ஜிரவாகு.
சென்றான் படையுடன் வீரவாகுவைத் தேடி.

தோள்களைத் தட்டி வீரவாகு கொக்கரிக்கத்
துவண்டு போயினர் அவுண மறவர்கள்.

சூழ்ந்து கொண்டு போர் செய்தனர் மறவர்,
சுழன்று அடித்தார் மாமரத்தால் வீரவாகு.

குடுமிகளைப் பிடித்து அடித்தார் நிலத்தில்;
விடுத்த படைக்கலன்களை முறித்து எறிந்தார்.

பாதங்களால் பலமாகத் தேய்த்தார் பலரை,
குதித்தார் பல அவுணர்களின் தலை மீது.

பலவித சாகங்கள் செய்த வீரவாகு,
நால்வகைப் படையையும் அழித்தார்.

வாழ்க வளமுடன், விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.

 
3 # 17 A. VAJRABAAHU.

The messengers of Soorapadman stood on the sky watching the outcome of the war between Veerabaahu and Sahasrabaahus.

When the Sahasrabaahus got killed, they rushed back to Soorapadman with the bad news.

Vajrabaahu was Soorpadman's youngest son. He was valorous and had ten heads. He promised his father,

"I shall bring that messenger of Murugan." He donned the armor and went with his army looking for Veerabaahu.

Veerabaahu was so happy to see the new batch of asuras. He clapped on his shoulders and roared so loudly that half the army went mad.

They surrounded Veerabaahu and started attacking him. Veerabaahu swirled a large tree. He grabbed the asuras by their knotted hair and dashed them on the ground.

He jumped on the heads of some others and crushed more asuras under his feet. He used several techniques and destroyed the asura army.
 
3 # 17.b. வஜ்ஜிரவாகுவின் அழிவு.

வஜ்ஜிரவாகு வந்து எதிர்த்தான்;
வடிவைப் பெருக்கினார் தேவர்!

நகைத்துத் தீ எழ ஆரவாரித்தார்,
நடுநடுங்கினான் வஜ்ஜிரவாகு.

நாணொலி செய்தான் அவுணகுமரன்;
கணைகள் பறந்தன காற்றைப் போல்!

கணைகளைப் பற்றி ஒடித்தார் தேவர்.
வீணாகும் கணைகளால் சினந்தான்!

பாய்ந்து வந்த பதினாயிரம் கணைகள்
பொடிப்பொடி ஆகின எழுபடையால்.

பதினாயிரம் கணைகள் எழுபடைமேல்.
உதைத்து உடைத்தார் அவுணன் தேரை!

மாய்ந்தான் பாகன் குதிரைகளுடன்!
மற்றொரு தேரில் ஏறினான் வஜ்ஜிரவாகு.

மற்ற தேரையும் வீசினார் விண்ணில்.
பறந்த அவுணன் வீழ்ந்தான் மண்ணில்.

வில்லைப் பிடுங்கி முறித்து எறிந்தார்.
வீரன் கதையை முடித்தார் வீரவாகு!

வாழ்க வளமுடன், விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.
 
3 # 17B. THE DEATH OF VAJRABAAHU.

Vajrabaahu fought all alone. Veerabaahu grew in his size one more time.
He laughed and roared loudly.

Vajrabaahu twanged his bow string. He shot arrows with the speed of wind. Veerabaahu caught hold of the arrows and broke them with his bare hands.

Vajrabaahu became very angry. He shot ten thousand arrows but Veerabaahu dashed them all with his ezhupadai.

He kicked the chariot of Vajrabaahu killing the horses and the charioteer. Vajrabaahu climbed on to another chariot.

Veerabaahu threw the chariot in the air. Vajrabaahu fell on the ground heavily. Veerabahu broke his bow and killed him with his sword.
 
3 # 18. யாளி முகன்.

அழிந்து வஜ்ஜிரவாகு விழுந்தபோது,
விழுந்தான் கதிரவன் மேற்கு திசையில்.

யாரும் வரவில்லை மேலும் போர் செய்ய!
திரும்பிச் செல்ல எண்ணினார் வீரவாகு.

தெருவில் நடக்கும் வீரவாகுவைக் கண்டு
அருகில் செல்லாமல் ஓடினர் அவுணர்கள்.

மீண்டும் ஒருமுறை கடந்தார் கடலை;
மீண்டும் அடைந்தார் இலங்கையை.

யாளிமுக அவுணன் அதன் காவலன்;
யாளிமுகங்கள் ஆயிரம் கொண்டவன்;

மேருவை நிகர்த்த உடல் உடையவன்
நெருப்பை உமிழும் கண்கள் உடையவன்;

விரைந்து செல்லும் வீரவாகுவைக் கண்டு
விரைந்து வந்து உரைத்தனர் காவலர்கள்.

"அதிவீரனை, வீரசிங்கனை அழித்துக்
கதிகலங்க வைத்தவன் இவனேதான்!"

"இவனைக் கொல்வேன்!" என்று கூறி
அவரை நெருங்கினான் யாளி முகன்.

கரங்கள், சிரங்களை அறுத்துத் தள்ளி
போர் புரியலானார் வீரவாகுத் தேவர்.

ஆயிரம் வலக்கரங்கள் வெட்டுண்டன!
ஆயிரம் இடக்கரங்கள் வெட்டுண்டன!

ஆயிரம் துதிக்கைகள் கீழே வீழ்ந்தன.
ஆயிரம் சிரங்களும் கீழே வீழ்ந்தன.

3 # 18. Yaalimukhan.

When Vajrabaahu fell dead, the sun also set in the west. No more asuras came forward to fight with Veerabaahu. He decided to return to Lord Murugan at Thiruchendhoor.

The asuras who saw him walking on the streets kept away from him out of fear. He crossed the sea and reached Lanka one more time.

Yaalimukhan was its guardian. He had a thousand yaali faces. His body was as huge as the mount Meru. His eyes spat fire.

When the asura soldiers eyed Veerabaahu they rushed to inform Yaalimukhan that it was he same man who had struck terror in their hearts and killed Athiveeran and Veerasingan.

Yaalimukhan swore to kill the man himself and went near him. Veerabaahu started to fight with him by cutting off his heads, trunks and hands.

One thousand right hands of Yaalimukhan got cut off. One thousand left hands too were cut off. One thousand trunks fell on the ground and one thousand heads rolled on the ground.

Yaali is a mythological creature which had a lion's body and the trunk and tusks of an elephant. It was considered to be much more stronger than a lion or an elephant.
 
3 # 19. திருச்செந்தூர் சேர்தல்.

யாளிமுகனைக் கொன்றபின் வீரவாகு,
ஆழியைக் கடந்து அடைந்தார் செந்தூர்.

வீரவாகுத் தேவரின் நல்வரவு கண்டு
ஆரவாரம் செய்தனர் பூதத்தலைவர்கள்.

வணக்கம் செய்து இணக்கமாகப் பேசி
வரவேற்றனர் வீரவாகுத் தேவரை.

முருகனைக் கண்டுவணங்கிய வீரவாகு
மறுமொழி பகர்ந்தார் சூரபத்மனின்.

"தூது சொல்லி அனுப்பிய மொழியைக்
காதில் போட்டுக் கொள்ளவில்லை அவன்;

தேவர்களைச் சிறை நீக்கமுடியாது என்று
தேவரிடம் கூறியுள்ளான் உறுதியாக!

படையுடன் நடப்போம் நாம் நாளை;
கடையனின் கொட்டத்தை அடக்க!"

முறுவல் மாறாத திங்கள் முகத்துடன்
முருகன் கூறினான் அனைவரிடத்திலும்!

"துன்பம் தொலையும் நாளையுடன்;
இன்பம் திரும்பும் இனி நம்வாழ்வில்!"

குதூகலித்தனர் தேவர்கள்- இந்திரன்
குதூகலித்தான் ஜெயந்தன் செய்தி கேட்டு.

3 # 19. Reaching Thiruchendhoor.

After killing Yaalimukhan, Veerabaahu crossed the ocean and reached Thiruch chendoor. The waiting army was happy to see the safe return of their friend and gave him a noisy welcome. They welcomed him heartily and took him to Lord Murugan.

Veerabaahu conveyed the reply given by soorapadman. Murugan with his moon-like smiling face told the assembly, "The message sent by us was not acceptable to Soorapman. He will not release the Devas from his prison. We have to march with our army on his capital city tomorrow and shatter his arrogance and pride!"

The Devas were happy with the thought that soon their troubles will come to an end. Indra was happy to know the welfare of his dear son Jayanthan.
 
3 # 20. நகரைத் திருத்தி அமைத்தல்.

"படைகளோடு வஜ்ஜிரவாகுவும்
படைக் களத்தில் மடிந்து விட்டான்.

கடலைக் கடந்து திரும்பிவிட்டான்
இடத்தைச் சூறையாடிய வீரவாகு."

தூதுவர்கள் சொன்ன செய்தி கேட்டு
துன்பக் கடலில் ஆழ்ந்தான் அசுரன்.

மனைவி பதுமகோமளை கதறிஅழுதாள்
மகனைப் பறி கொடுத்த துக்கத்தினால்.

மற்ற சுற்றமும் அழுது கண்ணீர் பெருக்க
மகேந்திரபுரி அழுகைபுரி ஆகிவிட்டது.

தருமகோபன் தான் தலைமை அமைச்சன்
தருமமொழிகளைக் கூறி தேற்றினான்.

கள்ளமற்ற அவன் மொழிகளைக் கேட்டு
உள்ளம் சற்றுத் தெளிந்தான் சூரபத்மன்.

"அழைத்து வா நான்முகனை!"காவலனை
அழைத்துக் கட்டளை இட்டான் சூரபத்மன்.

"திருச்செந்தூரில் நம் அண்டத்து பிரமன்
திருமுருகனுடன் தங்கி இருக்கிறானாம்.

பார்த்தவர்கள் சொன்ன தகவல் இது.
பக்கம் மாறிக் சென்று விட்டான் அவன்."

"வேறு அண்டத்து பிரமனைச் சென்று
விரைவாக அழைத்து வாருங்கள் இங்கு!"

வேறு அண்டத்தின் நான்முகன் வந்தான்.
"விரைந்து நகரைச் சீர் அமைப்பாய்!"

மதில்கள், கோபுரங்கள், மாடங்கள்,
மண்டபங்கள் முன் போல் இலங்கின.

"உன் அண்டதுக்குத் திரும்பிச் செல்வாய்!
உன் தொழிலை அங்கே செய்துவருவாய்!"

3 # 20. City reset to original glory.

The messengers brought the bad news to Soorapadman. Vajrabaahu had died in the battle along with his army. The troublemaker Veerabaahu had destroyed the city and gone back safely !"

Soorapadman was immersed in the sea of sorrow. His wife Padumakomalai cried bitterly moaning the death of Vajrabaahu. The others joined in and the usually joyous city was now reduced to a city of tears.

Dharmagopan tried to console Soorapadman with his words of wisdom. Soorapadman got consoled to some extent. He ordered his men to bring Brahma there immediately.

The soldiers replied," Brahma had joined the Murugan's side and is now with him in Senthoor. Soorapadman ordered that Brahma of another universe be brought there immediately.

Brahma of another universe came there. He was ordered to restore the city to its original glory and beauty. He did as was told. Soorapadman was happy with his job and sent him back to his own universe, advising him to continue to do his job as usual.
 
3 # 21a. ஆலோசனை.

அழிந்த நகரை பிரமன் ஒழுங்கு செய்தபின்,
அரியணையில் அமர்ந்திருந்தான் சூரபத்மன் .

ஒற்றர்கள் விரைந்து வந்தனர் அரசவைக்கு.
மற்ற செய்திகளையும் புகன்றனர் அரசனிடம்.

"செவ்வேட்கடவுள், சிவனாரின் மகனார்,
செந்தில் மாநகர் வந்து சேர்ந்து விட்டார்.

பூதப் படைகள் ஈராயிரம் வெள்ளம் ஆம்.
ஏவப் படைத் தலைவர்கள் நூற்று எண்மர்.

தாரகன் மாய்ந்த செய்தி உண்மையாகும்.
கிரௌஞ்சன் பிளந்ததும் உண்மை ஆகும்.

யாளிமுகனையும் கொன்றுவிட்டான் தூதன்.
நாளை வந்து சேரும் முருகனின் படைகள்."

அமைச்சர்களும், படைத் தலைவர்களும்,
அருமைத் தம்பி சிங்கமுக அவுணனும்

விரைந்து வந்து குழுமினர் அரசவையில்.
சூரபத்மன் சொன்னான் அவையினரிடம்,

"தேவர்களை நம் சிறையில் வைத்ததைத்
தேவர்கோன் சொன்னான் சிவபிரானிடம்.

தேவாதி தேவன் தோற்றுவித்தான் முருகனை.
தேவர்கள் துயர் தீர்க்க அனுப்பினான் அவனை.

தாரகனைக் கொன்ற பின் சிறுவன் முருகன்
தூதுவன் ஒருவனை அனுப்பினான் என்னிடம்!"

3 # 21 a. Council of ministers.

After the capital was restored to its original glory, Soorapadman sat on his throne. The messengers came to him and told him all the happenings.

"Murugan, lord Siva's son has reached Senthoor with his army of 2000 veLLam of demons. He has 108 generals to command the huge army. He has killed Taarakan and split into two the Krounja mountain. He got Yaalimukhan killed by his messenger. The army is expected to march here tomorrow."

Soorapadman called forth the council of ministers to assemble immediately. He addressed the gathering,

" We had imprisoned the devas. Indra had reported this to Lord Siva. Siva has created a son to put an end to the sufferings of the Devas. Murugan has killed Taarakan and Krounjan. He then sent his messenger Veerabaahu to me!".
 
3 # 21 b. மந்திராலோசனை.

"தூதுவன் ஒருவன் வந்தான் கடல் கடந்து;
தூதுவன் கொணர்ந்தான் விண்ணிலிருந்து

ஆதவனை நிகர்த்த ஓர் அரியணையை;
தூதுவன் பேசினான் அஞ்சாமல் என்முன்!

பேச்சுடன் நிற்கவில்லை அத்தூதுவன்-வாள்
வீச்சுடன் எதிர்த்தான் அவுணர்களை;

கொன்று குவித்தான் அவுணர்களை!
கோட்டை கொத்தளத்தை உடைத்தான்!

பிடிக்கச் சென்ற வீரரைக் கொன்றான்;
அடித்துக் கொன்றான் வஜ்ஜிரவாகுவை.

பிடிக்கமுடியவில்லை அந்தத் தூதுவனை.
கடிந்து சென்றுவிட்டான் கடல் கடந்து!

சிவன் மகன் வந்த செய்தி உண்மையே.
அவன் படை நாளை வருவதும் உண்மை.

எண்ணங்களை மறைக்காமல் சொல்லவும்,
என்ன செய்யவேண்டும் நாம் இப்போது?"

3 # 21. b. Soorapadman's speech.

Murugan's messenger came here crossing the ocean. He bought down a throne as brilliant as the sun, from the sky. He spoke without fear in my presence.

He attacked the asuras with his mighty sword. He killed many thousands of asuras. He destroyed our beautiful capital city.

Those who ventured to capture him were killed by him mercilessly. He killed prince Vajrabaahu. He made good his escape before we could capture him.

The news about Murugan is true. That his army will reach our city tomorrow is also true. I want your frank opinions as to what should be done now!"
 
3 # 21.c. மகிடனும், துர்குணனும்.

மகிடன் பதில்:-

தாரகனைக் கொன்றவன் சிறுவனோ?
தாரகனைக் கொன்றவன் மாவீரன்.

கடலைக் கடந்து ஒருவனாக வந்து
படைகளை அழிப்பவன் தூதுவனோ?

தாரகன் மாயந்தவுடனேயே விரைந்து
போருக்கு நீ சென்றிருக்க வேண்டும்.

படைகளை அனுப்பவும் இல்லை;
தடை செய்யவும் இல்லை தூதனை.

தீ சிறிதாயினும் எரிக்கும் அல்லவா?
நீ போருக்கு உடனே சென்றிருந்தால்,

தூதனும் நம் நகரம் வந்திரான் - யம
தூதனை போலக் கொன்றிறான் மகனை."

துர்குணன் பதில்:-

"திருமால் தேவர்களுடன் போர் செய்ய
அருமைத் தம்பிகளையே அனுப்பினாய்.

சிறுவன் ஒருவனோடு போர் புரிவது உன்
பெருமைக்கு அழகோ எண்ணிப் பார்.

சிறுவனுடன் போர் செய்வது சிறுமையே.
பெரும்படையை அனுப்பினால் போதுமே."

"The one killed Taarakan cannot be an ordinary boy!

He must be a great warrior.

Will any ordinary messenger venture to cross the ocean all by himself?

Will he dare to meddle with and destroy the powerful asura army?

As soon as Taarakan was killed you must have marched your army and

fought Murugan.

You did not send your army to fight him. You did not try to stop the

messenger.

If you had waged a war then, the messenger would never have come this

far. Murugan may appear to us as a young boy. But fire is fire.

It will burn everything whether it is a tiny spark or a roaring flame."

Durgunan got up and spoke now.

"You sent only your brothers to fight Vishnu and the other devas.

Fighting with a mere child does not add to your glory and fame.

On the other hand, it will tarnish your greatness.

Just send a huge army to vanquish Murugan."
