Enlightening experiences

I see a new meaning for the word detachment. It means raising above the reality and operating from a higher reality. Your body exists in the physical reality but totally under the control of your mind only. Nothing can affect it. It is in effect detached from the physical reality. This is possible only when the soul gets enlightened and makes the mind all powerful.

If the mind becomes all powerful..how is detachment even possible?

The main cause of attachment is the mind.

Mind becomes all powerful when it is free of the maya of attachment. It is then one with the soul.

I have to disagree here..Advaita talks about the Atma as the one and only finally.

The mind would cease to exist.

That is what I said. Mind merges with the soul. But in the case of a person with a purpose, the mind would be projected as an all powerful entity just as it is for avatars.

Everything dissolves finally...the mind is just one of them.

Everyone has a purpose in life..so mind is in active mode..even to be inactive one still has to engage the mind.

Its in fact the work of Maya to believe that the mind can be an all powerful entity as in avatars..
This is just refusal to give up the function of the mind.

Subscribing to such a belief makes one feel spiritual and in control.

Its actually a trap..delete such thoughts from your mind.

Logical reasoning is inadequate to understand what the experiences of spirituality will be. I prefer to wait now.

I am not saying that logic does not have a purpose but saying that logic alone cannot be used to understand or explain experiences.
 
Beginning to have smattering of blissful feelings. Looks like the most ecstatic of experiences known which is sexual orgasm is nothing compared to these most powerful positive experiences. What if the orgasm continues indefinitely ? That would be the experience. More later.

Sravna....orgasms are becos of muscle contractions and muscle fibers too get fatigue and it goes into resting phase before it contracts to any stimulus again.

So it seems to spirituality is just The Cosmic Orgasm????.

Aham Orgasm Asmi?

God..I thought it was Aham Brahmaasmi?

So everything is just Gods Porn story?

Dear Sravna...

Celibacy is Halal..
Sex is Haram for the renunciate.

But spirituality is a Cosmic Orgasm and finally Halal again.

So finally Haram is actually Halal..so why dont we humans just be Haraami from the begining and scream O' God O' God..Yes Yes Yes and case closed.

Seriously speaking, I think orgasm occurs due to forces harmonising at a local level though a very strong harmony. Spiritual ecstasy is something that happens at a larger level and hence the experience is more sublime and also permanent

Dear Sravna...do you realize you spend a lot of time focussed on yourself ..that too outwardly?

What difference does it really make finally.

To be honest...all your pics look the same.

Aging is inevitable even for an Avatar..that is what a human life is all about..hardly we see a curious case of Benjamin Button who eventually becomes a baby and also dies.

A human body no matter if it becomes older or younger will only cease to exists in either end of the spectrum.

Aging..causes death due to decay.

Reverse aging causes youth till one becomes a sperm and ova again and ceases to exist.
 
Dear Renuka,

I believe the mind is doing this increase in spiritual energy in a methodical manner. Increase of youth, beauty suggests that spiritual energy proper is beginning to set in which will take one into the spiritual side. The experiences become dramatically different then. So the focus on beauty is not for beauty per se but for the onset of the spiritual experience.
 
Hi, Shreepad Saligram here, I am planning to do upanayana for my son Shashank Who turns 11year old in january. Can anybody give me dates between April 1st 2018 and May 15th 2018 as I need to book halls in bangalore. Basically I am à smartha brahmin.I need auspicious dates with good muhurtha for his upanayana to carry smoothly without any hurdles.

All including biceps but slightly only. What is more prominently happening is the v-shape of the body. seems to be some method in all that is happening.
