A poem a day to keep all agonies away!

4 # 5 a. மூன்றாம் நாள் போர்.

பொழுது புலர்ந்தது, எழுந்தான் பானுகோபன்;
தொழுது மாயையை அழைத்தான் வருமாறு.

போரிலே தோற்று ஓடி ஒளிந்ததைக் கூறி
நேரிலே அவளிடம் உதவிகள் கோரினான்.

"மறை வழியை விட்டு விலகிச் சென்றாய்!
சிறை செய்தாய் விண்ணுலகத் தேவர்களை;

அழித்தாய் இந்திரனின் அரசாட்சியினை!
அழித்தாய் முனிவர்கள் செய்த தவத்தை;

வளர்த்தாய் நீ பலவிதக் கொடுமைகளை!
வளர்த்தாய் நாற்புறமும் பகைவர்களை.

மண்டும் பகைவர்களிடம் நீ தோற்றாய்!
வேண்டும் உதவி என்னவோ கோருவாய்!"

"பகைவர்களை வெல்ல வல்ல அரிய
படைக்கலன் ஒன்று வேண்டும் எனக்கு."

மாயப் படைக் கலன் ஒன்றை உருவாக்கி
மாயை அளித்தாள் பானுகோபனுக்கு.

"வெற்றியை உனதாக்கும் இப்படைக்கலன்.
இற்றை நாள் போரில் வெற்றி உனதே!"

மாயப் படைக்கலனைப் பெற்றதும் பிற
தூய படைக்கலன்களுடன் புறப்பட்டான்.

காற்றுப் படை, தீப் படை, யமப் படை,
சூரியப் படை, சந்திரப் படை, சிவப்படை,

நான்முகப் படை, நாராயணப் படை என்னும்
நானாவிதப் படைக் கலன்களுடன் சென்றான்.

பதினாயிரம் வெள்ளம் கரிகள், பரிகள்,
பதினாயிரம் வெள்ளம் தேர்க்கூட்டம்,

காலாட்படை இருபதினாயிரம் வெள்ளம்
களம் நோக்கி நடந்தது பானுகோபனுடன்!

வாழ்க வளமுடன், விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.
 
4 # 5 a. The war on the third day.

Bhaanukoban was up by the dawn on the next day. He prayed to Maayaa to appear in front of him. He related how he and his father were defeated by the army of Murugan. He sought her help to win the war.

" You have deviated from the path prescribed by the Veda. You imprisoned the Deva. You toppled Indra's rule. You ruined the tapas done by rushis. You encouraged many atrocities. You made enemies all around you. So you got defeated. Now tell me what exactly you want"

"I want a rare asthram which will help me to win today's war."

She created a maaya asthram and gave it to him.
"This asthram will ensure your victory in today's war."

Bhaanukoban received the maaya asthram and took his other asthrams as well. He had the asthrams of Vayu, Agni, Yama, Soorya, Chandra, Siva, Brahma and Narayana.

Ten thousand vellam of horses, equal number of elephants and chariots and twenty thousand vellam of asura warriors accompanied him to the war front.
 
4 # 5 b. பானுகோபன் தூது.

மதில் புறத்தே வந்து சேர்ந்தான் பானுகோபன்,
குதிரை முகங்கள் ஆயிரம் கொண்ட தூதனை

முருகன் பாசறைக்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தான்;
"கூறுவாய் வீரவாகுவிடம் இங்ஙனம்!

வந்துள்ளான் பானுகோபன் போருக்கு!
நொந்து ஓடி ஒளிவான் என எண்ணாதே!"

விரைந்து சென்றான் தூதுவன் பாசறை;
உரைத்தான் சேதியை வீரவாகுவிடம்;

"உன் உயிரைக் கவர்ந்து செல்வதற்கு
இன்றைக்கு வருவான் பானுகோபன்.

விரைந்து போருக்குப் புறப்பட்டு நீ!"
உரைத்த தூதுவனுக்குக் கிடைத்த பதில்

"அவன் உயிரைக் கவர்ந்து கொள்ள நான்
அவனைத் தேடி வருவேன் எனக் கூறு!"

இளவல்கள், படைத் தலைவர்களுடன் கூடி
அழகன் முருகன் அடிபணிந்தான் வீரவாகு.

தூதுவன் வந்த சேதியை அறிந்து கொண்டு
மாதவன் மருகன் கூறினான் இங்ஙனம்.

"பானுகோபனுடன் போர் புரிவாய் நீ!
தான் ஏவும் படைக்கலன்களை எதிர்த்து

நீயும் ஏவுவாய் தக்க படைக்கலன்களை.
மாயையை வந்து நீக்கும் என் வேற்படை."

4 # 5 b. Baanukoban's messenger.

Bhaanukoban reached the encircling wall. He sent a messenger who had a thousand horse faces to Veerabaahu.

"Tell Veerabaahu that Bhaanukoban will kill him in today's war! Let him not think that I will run away today also!"

The messenger hurried to convey the message. The reply he got from Veerabaahu was,
"Tell Bhaanukoban that Veerabaahu will come to kill him in today' s war!"

He then went with his younger brothers and other army generals and paid obeisance to Murugan.

Murugan knew about the visit of the messenger and the message conveyed by him. He told Veerabaahu,

"You fight with Bhaanukoban today. Just shoot the right asthram to annul each of his asthrams. My spear will come and remove the maayai."
 
4 # 5 c. படைகள் கலந்தன.

படைகள் இரண்டும் கலந்தன இரண்டு
கடல்கள் என்னும்படிப் போர்க்களத்தில்!

அவுணன் செலுத்தினான் வருணப் படை.
தேவர் செலுத்தினார் விழுங்கும் தீப்படை.

அவுணன் செலுத்தினான் தீப் படையை
அழித்துக் கெடுக்க வல்ல காற்றுப்படை.

தேவர் செலுத்தினார் காற்றுப் படையை
தோற்கச் செய்யும் பாம்புப் படையை.

அவுணன் செலுத்தினான் பாம்புப் படையை
அழித்து ஒழிக்க வல்ல கருடப் படையை.

தேவர் செலுத்தினார் கருடப் படையை
தோற்கச் செய்யும் நந்திப் படையை.

அவுணன் செலுத்தினான் யமப் படையை.
அழித்து ஒழித்தது அதை நந்திப் படை.

அவுணன் செலுத்தினான் நான்முகப் படை.
அது வணங்கி மீண்டது நந்திப் படையை.

அவுணன் செலுத்தினான் நாராயணப் படை.
அது நந்திப்படையுடன் போரிட்டு நின்றது.

செலுத்தினான் வீரவாகு வீரபத்திரப்படை.
தொலைந்து ஒழிந்தது நாராயணப் படை.

செலுத்தினான் அவுணன் சிவப் படையை.
செலுத்தினார் வீரவாகு சிவப் படையை.

சிவப்படைகள் இரண்டும் எதிரெதிர் நின்று
சினத்துடன் ஒன்றை ஒன்று பொருதலாயின!

4 # 5 c. The war commenced.

The armies moved in and it appeared
as though two seas were merging together.

Bhaanukoban shot the asthram of Varuna.
Veerabaahu shot the asthram of Fire to annul it.

Bhaanukoban shot the asthram of Wind to fight Fire.
Veerabaahu shot the asthram of Snake to fight the Wind.

Bhaanukoban shot the asthram of Garuda to fight the Snake. Veerabaahu shot the asthram of Nandhi to fight the Garuda.

Bhaanukoban shot the asthram of Yama.
Nandhi asthram vanquished the asthrm of Yama.

Bhaanukoban shot the asthram of Brahma.
It paid obeisance to the asthram of Nandhi and went back.

Bhaanukoban shot the asthram of Naaraayana.
It fought well with the asthram of Nandhi.

Veerabaahu shot the asthram of Veera Badran which defeated the asthram of Naaraayana.

Bhaanukoban shot the asthram of Siva.
Veerabaahu also shot the asthram of Siva.

The two asthram of Siva were on opposite sides.
The two asthrams fought valiantly with each other!
 
4 # 5 d. ஊழித் தீ.

எதிர் எதிர் நின்ற இரு படைக்கலன்கள்
எவரும் கண்டிராத விந்தைகள் புரிந்தன!

ஊழிக் காற்று ஒன்று தோன்றி வீசியது.
ஊழித் தீ ஒன்று தோன்றிப் பரவியது.

புகையும், நஞ்சும் தோன்றிப் பரவின.
பூதக் கூட்டங்கள் உற்பத்தி ஆகின.

உற்பத்தி ஆயின காளித் தொகைகள்.
உற்பத்தி ஆயின வைரவர் கூட்டங்கள்.

வெளிப்பட்டனர் வீரத் திருமடந்தையர்.
வெளிப்பட்டன பலப் பேய்க் கூட்டங்கள்.

தோன்றி வெளிப் பட்டனர் காலர்கள்
தோன்றின காரிருளும், மாயையும்.

தோன்றின அளவில்லாத கடல்கள்.
தோன்றின அளவில்லாத முகில்கள்.

தோன்றின பல பாம்புக் கூட்டங்கள்
தோன்றின பல ஐயனார் படைகள்.

பொழிந்தன கற்கள், தீக் கொள்ளிகள்,
மழு, இடி, உருளை, வேல், கணைகள்.

ஏழு கடல்களும் வற்றிப் போயின.
ஏழு மலைகளும் கரிந்து போயின.

மடிந்தன கடல்வாழ் உயிரினங்கள்
இடிந்தது வான்! பொடிந்தன தாரகை;

எரிந்தது நிலம், பொரிந்தது மேருமலை.
அழிந்தன கதிரவனின் தேர்குதிரைகள்.

வெருண்டனர் உலகத்தின் உயிர்கள்;
மருண்டனர் வீரவாகுவின் இளவல்கள்.

புரண்டனர் அங்கு அவுண மறவர்கள்
உருண்டன அங்கு கரிகளும், பரிகளும்.

பிழைத்து நின்றான் அங்கு பானுகோபன்.
அழைத்துக் கொண்டான் தன் படைக்கலனை.

வாழ்க வளமுடன், விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.
 
4 # 5 d. Pralayaagni.

The two asthrams of Siva fought each other. Things which have never

been witnessed started happening there!

A terrible wind swept over the place. Pralayaagni swept though the place.

Poisonous smoke swept tough the area. Several gangs of demons appeared.

Several groups of Kalis, Vairavar, war goddesses and Kaalaas appeared there.

Total darkness and Maayaa appeared there.

Many seas appeared. Many clouds appeared. Poisonous snakes and ayyanaars appeared.

Stones, burning splinters, mazhus, thunder, discusses, spears and arrows fell from the sky.

The seven seas dried up. The seven mountains got charred completely.

All the sea living creatures got killed.

The sky fell apart and the stars exploded.

The earth burned and the mount Meru popped in the intense heat

The horses in Sun's chariot were destroyed. All the living things got scared.

The eight younger brothers of Veerabaahu got dazed.

The asura sena fell down and rolled on the earth.

The elephants and horses tumbled down.

But nothing happened to Bhaanukoban.

He stood unharmed he called back his Siva asthram.
 
4 # 5 e. மாயப் படைக்கலம்.

தன்னைச் சூழ்ந்து நின்றிருந்த படைகள்
ஒன்றும் காணப் பெறவில்லை அவுணன்;

தனியாளாகி ஏங்கினான் பானுகோபன்;
இனிச் செய்வது ஏதென்று அறிகிலன்!

திரும்பி விட்டது சிவப்படைக் கலமும்
ஒருவனாக நின்றால் அழிவது உறுதி!

உருவத்தை மறைத்து எழுந்தான் வானில்;
மறைந்தவனை எள்ளி நகைத்தன பூதங்கள்!

"அன்றும் நான் தோற்று ஓடி மறைந்தேன்!
இன்றும் நான் தோற்று ஓடி மறைந்தால்

யாவரும் இகழ்ந்து பேசுவர் என்னை!
எந்தையும் வெறுப்பார் என் வீரத்தை!

ஆதவனைச் சிறைப் பிடித்துப் பெற்ற
கோதற்ற புகழ் மங்கி மறைந்துவிடும்.

பழிச் சொற்கள் பேசிட அனுமதியேன்!
இழிச் செயல் செய்தேனும் வெல்வேன்!

மறைந்து நின்று இவர்களை வெல்வேன்!"
விரைந்து துதித்தான் மாயப் படைக்கலனை.

"பகைவர்களின் அறிவைக் கெடுத்தும்,
நகைப்பவர்களின் உயிரைக் குடித்தும்,

நன்னீர்க் கடலில் உடல்களை வீசியும்,
பன்னீர்க் மழையில் என்னை நனை!"

மாயப் படைக்கலன் மண்ணுக்கு வந்தது!
மயக்கி வீழ்தியது பூதக் கூட்டத்தை.

நூறாயிரம் வீரர்களுடன் கூட ஒன்பது
பேராண்மைப் படைத் தலைவர்களையும்.

உயிர்களைப் பறிக்க முடியில்லை அதனால்
உயிருடன் சுமந்து சென்றது அவர்களை!

ஆறு கடல்களையும் தாண்டிய பின்னர்
அவர்களை வீசியது நன்னீர்க் கடலில்.

வாழ்க வளமுடன், விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.
 
4 # 5 e. Victory by sorcery.

Bhaanukoban stood all alone in the battle field. He did not know what to do!

The Siva asthram shot by him had returned to him. He would surely be destroyed if he stood there all alone.

He became invisible and rose into the sky. The army of demons ridiculed him for disappearing again.

"I ran away on the first day! If I run away today, I will ridiculed all my life. My father would not think very highly of my valor.

The fame and name earned by me by capturing the Sun will be lost forever. I will not allow anyone to ridicule me. I will rather win using sorcery."

He remembered the asthram given by Maayaa.

"Go forth and cause delusion in the minds of the army of demons. Kill them all. Throw their bodies in the fresh water sea and make me happy!"

The asthram deluded and confused the minds of all the soldiers of the demon army as well as their nine generals.

It could not kill them. So it carried them alive all the way up to the fresh water sea and tossed them in the water alive.
 
4 # 5 f. தந்தையும், மகனும்.

நிகழ்ந்தவற்றை அறிந்தான் பானுகோபன்;
புகழ்ந்து கொண்டான் தன்னைத் தானே !

மகிழ்ந்து நின்றான் தன் சூழ்ச்சியை எண்ணி!
அழிந்து போன பூதப் படையையும் எண்ணி.

அடைந்தான் வீரமகேந்திரபுரியை;
அளந்தான் தன் வீர தீர பிரதாபத்தை.

"வீரவாகுவின் பூதர்களை வென்றேன்;
வீரர்கள் உடல்களை இட்டேன் கடலில்!

ஆறுமுகனைப் போரில் வெல்வேன்!
பிற தேவர்களையும் சிறை செய்வேன்!"

மகனின் பெருமைகளைக் கேட்டுத் தன்
மனம் மகிழ்ந்து நின்றான் சூரபத்மன்.

நிமிர்ந்தன தோள்கள்; நெறித்தன வளை!
பொடித்தன மயிர்கள்; வெடித்தது சிரிப்பு!

இறுகத் தழுவினான் பானுகோபனை!
அருகில் அமர்த்தினான் அரியணையில்.

"மனக் கவலையை மாற்றினாய் மகனே!
மகிழ்சிக் கடலில் திளைக்கின்றேன் நான்.

முந்நாளில் பெற்ற செல்வங்கள் பொய்!
இந்நாளில் நான் பெற்ற செல்வமே மெய்!"

அணிகலன்கள் புதியன அணிவித்தான்!
அணைத்துப் பூரித்து மெய் புளகித்தான்;

"ஆறுமுகனை வென்று பிறரைக் கொன்று
அரும் பகை தீர்ப்பாய் நாளைய போரில்!"

4 # 5 f. The father and the son.

Bhaanukoban knew the happenings.
He was very happy with himself and praised himself.

He returned to Veera mahendra puri and blew his own trumpet.

"I defeated the nine brothers. I dropped all their bodies in the freshwater sea.

I will conquer Murugan tomorrow and arrest all the other Deva.

Soorapadman swelled up with pride and happiness on hearing the wonderful words spoken by his son.

He embraced his son and made him share his own throne.

He offered new ornaments to his son and had only one request,

"Win the army of Murugan and put an end to the trouble makers tomorrow".
 
4 # 5 g. அனைவரையும் மீட்டல்.

நிகழ்ச்சிகளைக் கண்ட தேவர்கள்
நெகிழ்ந்து நிலை குலைந்தனர்.

மனம் பதைத்து விவரங்களை
முருகனிடம் கூற விரைந்தனர்.

உரைத்தார் செய்தியை முருகனுக்கு
விரைந்து சென்ற நாரத முனிவர்.

அனைத்தையும் கேட்ட முருகவேள்
பணித்தான் தன் சக்தி வேலிடம்,

"அனைவரையும் மீட்டு வருவாய்!
பனைத் துணை நன்மை புரிவாய்!"

கந்தன் கட்டளையைக் கேட்டதும்
முந்திச் சென்றது சக்திவேலாயுதம்.

ஆறு கடல்களையும் கடந்து சென்று
அடைந்தது பின்பு நன்னீர்க் கடலை!

மாயப் படைக்கலன் திறன் அழிந்தது.
தோய அரசன் வந்து வணங்கினான்.

வீரவாகுவும் இளவல்களும் உடனே
அறிவு பெற்றுத் தளர்ச்சி நீங்கினர்.

நீருக்கு மேலே எழும்பி வந்தனர்.
ஆறுமுகனின் வேலை வணங்கினர் .

முந்திச் சென்றது முருகனிடம் வேல்.
பிந்திச் சென்றனர் ஒன்பதின்மரும்.

4 # 5 g. The savior.

All the Devas got shocked to witness the happenings. They rushed to report the matter to Murugan.

Narada told Murugan all the events that took place. After listening to him Murugan ordered his spear,

"Go forth and bring back all our people. Your help is needed at this hour."

The spear obeyed his command and crossed all the six seas. It finally reached the freshwater sea.

At the same time the power of the sorcery of the Maya asthram came to an end. The King of the Ocean came and paid his obeisance to the spear.

The Nava Sakthi Kuamaaraas came out of their delusion. They rose to the surface of the water. They too paid obeisance to the mighty spear.

The spear returned to the hands of Murugan. The Nava Sakthi Kumaras followed the spear.
 
4 # 6 a. நகர் புகுதல்.

வீரவாகு அடைந்தார் மகேந்திரபுரியை;
பார்த்த அளவில் சினம் பொங்கியது!

"மாயப் போர் புரிந்து ஓடி ஒளிந்த
மாயையின் பேரனைக் கொல்வேன்;

அழிப்பேன் நகரத்தை முற்றிலுமாக!
அழிப்பேன் எதிர்க்கும் அவுணர்களை!"

மேற்கு வாயிலை அடைந்தனர்; கடல்
தோற்கும் பேரோலியை எழுப்பினர்;

வாயிலின் காவலன் புலிமுகன்,
மாயையின் மகன்களில் ஒருவன்;

கூற்றுவனையும், வருணனையும்
பற்றிச் சிறையில் அடைத்தவன்;

தீயொளி போன்ற உடம்பினன்;
தீப் பொறி போலச் சினந்தான்;

அவுணர்கள், பூதர்கள் பொருதனர்;
ஆறாகப் பெருகியது செங்குருதி!

சிங்கரும், புலிமுகனும் போர் புரியச்
சிங்கர் கொன்றார் புலிமுகனை!

உதைத்து அழித்தனர் அவ்வாயிலை,
உதைத்து அழித்தனர் மாளிகையை;

காற்றையும், தீயையும் எய்தவுடன்
காற்றும், தீயும் கலந்து பரவின.

எரிந்தன சில இடங்கள்; கரிந்தன சில;
பொரிந்தன சில இடங்கள்; புகைந்தன சில.

வெடித்தன சில இடங்கள், பொடிந்தன சில;
கொடிய சூரபத்மனின் நகர் அழிந்தது.

வாழ்க வளமுடன், விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.
 
4 # 6 a. Entering the city.

Variable reached Mahendrapuri. His anger knew no bounds at the thought of treacherous Bhaanukoban who used sorcery in the war. He swore to himself,

"I will kill that grandson of Maayai who did war by sorcery! I will destroy this city. I will kill anyone who crosses my path!"

The nine brothers and their army reached the western gate of the city. They roared louder than the roaring sea. The gate was guarded by Puli mukhan - one of the sons of Maayai. He was famous for having arrested Yama and Varuna.

His body was of the color of burning fire. He emitted sparks and fumes due to his anger. The armies of demons and the asuras fell upon each other and soon a red river of fresh, hot blood started flowing there.

Singar fought with Puli mukan and killed him. There was nothing or no one to stop the army of demons from destroying the western gate and the city completely now.

Wind and fire were shot as arrows and they spread very fast. Soon the whole place was burned, charred, popped, smoked, cracked and burst to powder. The beautiful city of the asuras was completely destroyed!
 
4 # 6 b. நீரும், நெருப்பும்.

ஒற்றர்கள் நுழைந்தனர் அரண்மனையில்;
கொற்றவனிடம் கூறினர் அனைத்தையும்;

"நன்நீர்க் கடலில் கொண்டு சென்று இட்டான்
பானுகோபன் பூதப் படையினரை எல்லாம்!

மாயப் படையால் போர் புரிந்தான் அவன்;
மாயப் படையை அழித்தது வேளின் வேல்!

பூதப் படையினர் பிழைத்து எழுந்தனர்.
பூதப் படையினர் அடைந்தனர் நம் நகரை.

புலிமுகன் படையை வென்றனர் போரில்
புலி முகனையும் கொன்றனர் அப்போரில்.

தீயையும், காற்றையும் ஒன்றாகச் செலுத்தித்
தீமை செய்து விட்டனர் நம் தலை நகருக்கு!"

"ஊழிக் காலத்தில் உலகையே அழிக்கும்
ஏழு முகில்களையும் அழைத்து வருக!"

ஏழு முகில்களும் வந்து நின்றன அங்கு!
"எழுவீர்! பொழிவீர்!எரியும் நம் நகரில்!"

தீயை அணைத்து விட்டன ஏழு முகில்கள்!
திகைத்து நின்ற வீரவாகுத் தேவரிடம்

நாரதர் தோன்றிக் கூறினார் விவரம்;
நகரை அழித்திட மற்றொரு உபாயம்.

"ஊழிக்கால முகில்களை ஒடுக்கிட
உடனே செலுத்துவீர் வடவைத் தீயை!"

வடவைத் தீப்படை விரைந்து சென்றது!
வற்றச் செய்தது ஏழு ஊழிமுகில்களை.

ஆற்றல் இழந்தன ஊழி மேகங்கள்.
சீற்றம் அடைந்தான் சூரபத்ம அவுணன்.

"என் தேரை உடனே கொணர்க!" எனத்
தன் காவலருக்குக் கட்டளை இட்டான்!

4 # 6 b. Fire vs Water.

The messengers entered the palace. They related the recent happenings to Soorapadman.

"Bhaanukoban fought using the asthram given by Maayai. It vanquished the army of the demons and threw them into the freshwater sea.

Then the spear of Murugan appeared there. The Maayaa asthram lost its power. The army of the demons were saved. They reached the western gate of our city.

They fought with Pulimukhan and killed him after defeating his army. They have shot the wind and fire and have destroyed our city completely."

Soorapadman became very anger and ordered,
"GO and fetch the seven rain clouds which cause deluge during Pralaya"

The seven rain clouds reported to him immediately.

He ordered them,"Go forth and rain in my city and put out the burning fire there."

Te clouds obeyed him and the fire was put out. Veerabaahu was surprised by this sudden developments.

Just then Narada appeared and told him another way to destroy the city.

He suggested that Veerabaahu must shoot the Vadavaagni to vanquish the seven clouds.

The Vadavaagni spread fast. It drank up all the water from the seven rain clouds.

The dry clouds could not pour down rain. Soorapadman became mad with anger and ordered that his chariot be bought there immediately.

அவற்றுள் வசிக்கும் ஆத்மாக்களாலே!

சுவர்க்கம் நரகம் இரண்டையுமே
சுற்றி வந்து ஒருவர் பார்த்தபோது,
இரண்டில் உள்ளவர்களின் நிலையும்
இருந்தது ஒரு போலவே, விந்தை!

கையுடன் சேர்த்துக் கட்டி இருந்தனர்
கனத்த நீண்ட மரக் கரண்டி ஒன்று.
எதிரில் அறுசுவை உணவு இருந்தும்,
எடுத்துத் தாமே உண்ண இயலாது!

நரகத்தில் வசிப்போர் உணவின்றி
நானா இன்னல்கள் அடைத்தாலும்,
சுவர்க்கவாசிகள் உணவு உண்டு,
சுகமாகவே இருந்து வந்தனர்!

எப்படி இது சாத்தியம் என வியந்தால்,
இப்படித்தான் எனச் செய்து காட்டினர்.
சுவர்க்கவாசி ஒவ்வொருவரும் தம்
எதிரே உள்ளவருக்கு ஊட்டிவிட்டார்.

நரகவாசிகள் நவின்றதோ இப்படி!
“நான் ஏன் ஊட்டிவிட வேண்டும்?
பசியுடன் நான் இருப்பது போலவே,
பசியுடன் அவனும் இருக்கட்டுமே!”

நரகமும் சுவர்க்கமும் நமது மனங்களே!
நரகமும் சுவர்க்கமும் வெளியே இல்லை.
நாலு பேருக்கு உதவுவதுதான் சுவர்க்கம்.
“நான்! எனது!” என்றே வாழ்வது நரகம்.

வாழ்க வளமுடன்,
விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.

i started reading now only.
when a question was put to a great man whether he wants to go to swargam or naragam ,his reply was
i do not differentiate swargam or naragam ,because i am having friends in both the places.
