THE NEAREST AND THE FARTHEST
If two men stand back to back, it will be impossible for them to talk to each other, facing each other. If they really want to come face to face, each of them just has to move back one step.
If they both of them are stubborn and would not step back, they will have to go forward and cover the entire globe and meet each other half way though!
It is really surprising that the person who is nearest to us is God! He is the size of our little thumb, sits in our fist-sized-heart and rules over the world. The heart bubbling with blood is the pretty throne made of Corundum, He loves best!
We are able to see The Sun, The Moon, the stars the rain-drops and even the forked flash of a lightning. But why are we unable to see God?
Our sense organs spread in the external world, like a fishing net thrown by an expert fisherman. However hard we may try, we will never be able to find God-since we are traveling in the wrong direction. If we turn back all our senses and redirect them towards the inner self, we will surely find Him!
Even though God is closest to us, we feel that He is farthest from us because of the wrong direction of our travel.
Let us travel towards Him and not away from Him. What can be a better purpose of a human life, than knowing Him our protector and creator!
