# 16 . இதயமே நான்.

இதயத்தின் இருப்பிடத்தைப் பற்றிக் கேட்கின்ற நாம் நமது

உடலின் இருப்பை ஒப்புக் கொள்ளுகிறோம். இந்தக்

கண்ணோட்டத்திலிருந்தே ஸ்தூல உடலைப் பற்றி எதுவும்

கூறப்படுகின்றது. நம் இருப்பில் இதயத்தின் இடமே தட்டிக்

காட்டப் படுகிறது.

# 17. "நான்" எங்குள்ளது?

"நான் கணக்கைச் சரியாகச் செய்தேன்" என்று பள்ளி மாணவன்

கூறும்போதோ, அல்லது "நான் ஓடிப்போய் அந்தப் புத்தகத்தை

உங்களுக்காக வாங்கி வரவா?" என்று கேட்கும்போதோ, அவன்

தலையைத் தொடுவானா அல்லது காலைத் தொடுவானா?

இல்லை. அந்த இரு நேரங்களிலுமே அவன் விரல் தானாகவே

தன் மார்பின் வலது பக்கத்தைத் தான் தொடும். எனவே

நான் - தன்மையின் "மூலம்" அங்குதான் இருக்கிறது என்ற

# 18 . ஆன்ம விசாரம்.

நம்மைப் பற்றிய உண்மை மட்டுமே விசாரித்து அறியத் தக்கது.

நம் கவனத்தின் இலக்காகக் கொண்டு ஆர்வத்துடன் அதனை

இதயத்தில் விசாரித்து அறிய வேண்டும்.

மனத்தின் துன்பம், செயற்பாடு ஆகியவற்றிலிருந்து நீங்கிய

"மௌன உணர்வில்" தான் நம்மைப் பற்றிய அறிவு

வெளிப்படும். அந்த உணர்வே இதயத்தில் எப்போதும்

பிரகாசிக்கும் ஆன்ம உணர்வு என்பதை அறிய வேண்டும்.

எதைப் பற்றியும் சிந்திக்காத போது நமதிருப்பில் அது

அறியப்படுகிறது.

# 19 . உஷ்ணமும் குளிர்ச்சியும்.
மூளையைக் கொண்டு கவனம் செலுத்தப் பெறும் போது, சூடு, தலைவலி போன்றவை உண்டாகும். இதயத்தில் கவனம் செலுத்தினால் அது குளிர்ச்சியாகவும், புத்துணர்ச்சியைத் தருவதாக அமையும்.

தேடிக் கண்டுபிடித்தால் மனம் என்று தனியாக
ஒரு பொருள் இல்லை என்பது தெரிய வரும்.
மனம் என்பது எண்ணங்களின் தொகுப்பே.
அவை "நான்" என்ற எண்ணத்தையே சார்ந்து இருக்கின்றன .
"நான்" என்ற எண்ணமே மனம் என்று அறி.
மனம் என்று ஒன்றும் இல்லை.
எண்ணங்கள் உதயம் ஆவதால் அவை
தொடங்கும் இடத்தை வைத்து
எதோ ஒன்றை மனம் என்கிறோம்

# 21. அகந்தை.
உடல் சடம். ஆத்மா உதிக்காது. உடலுக்கும், ஆத்மாவுக்கும் இடையில், உடலின் எல்லைக்குள் உதிப்பது "நான்". அதுவே அகந்தை எனவும், சித்ஜடக்கிரந்தி எனவும், பந்தம் எனவும், சூக்ஷ்ம உடல் எனவும், மனம் என்று பெயரிட்டு அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

உள் திரும்பிய மனமே ஆன்மா. வெளிப்புறம் திரும்பினால் அதுவே

அகந்தையாகவும், உலகமாகவும் மாறுகிறது. ஆத்மாவிலிருந்து மனம்

தனித்து இருக்கமுடியாது. அதாவது அதற்கென்று தனித்த இருப்புக்

கிடையாது. அதனால் ஆன்மா இல்லாமல் மனம் ஒரு போதும் இல்லை.
