# 30. அஹம் விருத்தி.
நான் ஆன தன்மை அஹம் விருத்தி என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டாலும், உண்மையில் மனத்தின் மற்ற விருத்திகளை போன்று அது ஒரு விருத்தி ஆகாது.
மற்ற விருத்திகள் ஒன்றுக்கு ஒன்று தொடர்பு அற்றவை. ஆனால் அஹம் விருத்தி மனத்தின் ஒவ்வொரு விருத்தியோடும் தொடர்பு கொண்டது.

# 31. மூலமும்,வடிவும்.

அஹம் விருத்தியின் மூலத்தைத் தேடுவது என்பது
அகந்தையின் வடிவங்களில் ஒன்றை மட்டும் தேடுவது ஆகாது.

ஆனால் நான் ஆன தன்மை எங்கிருந்து எழுகிறது
என்று அதன் மூலத்தையே தேடுவது ஆகும்.

அஹம் விருத்தி தோன்றுமிடத்தை விசாரிப்பது என்பது அகந்தையின் இருப்பையே தொடுகிறது.

ஆகவே அகந்தை உருவாக்கும் வடிவங்களைப்
பற்றிக் கவலைப் பட வேண்டாம்.

Friedrich Majer(1771-1818) a disciple of Johann Gottfried Herder, an Orientalist found that:

" It will no longer remain to be doubted that the priests of Egypt and the sages of Greece have drawn directly from the original well of India," that it is to 'the banks of the Ganga and the Indus that our hearts feel drawn as by some hidden urge."
 
# 32. சித்ஜடக் கிரந்தி.
செயல் படும் கண்ணோட்டத்தில் இருந்து நோக்கும் போது, அகந்தைக்கு ஒரே குணம் தான் உண்டு.
தூய்மையான உணர்வாம் ஆன்மாவுக்கும்,
ஜடமான ஸ்தூல உடம்பிற்கும் இடையே உள்ள
முடிச்சாக அகந்தை விளங்குகின்றது.
எனவே அது சித்ஜடக் கிரந்தி என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது
அகந்தையின் மூலத்தை விசாரித்து அறியும் போது முக்கியமாக அதன் உணர்வுத் தன்மையை மறக்கக் கூடாது.
ஆகவே விசாரம் என்பது தூய உணர்வாம் ஆத்மாவை உணர வகை செய்ய வேண்டும்.

# 33. உருவற்ற ஒரு பேய்.
உருப் பற்றி உண்டாகும்.
உருப் பற்றி நிற்கும்.
உருப் பற்றி உண்டு மிக ஓங்கும்.
உருவிட்டு உருப் பற்றும்.
தேடினால் ஓட்டம் பிடிக்கும்.
உருவற்ற ஒரு பேய் அகந்தை.

# 34. அதுவே எல்லாம்.
அகந்தை உண்டாயின் அனைத்தும் உண்டாகும்.
அது அடங்கினால் எல்லாம் அடங்கும்.
எனவே அகந்தையே எல்லாம்.
அது என்ன என்று நாடுதலே எல்லாவற்றிலும் வெற்றியைத் தரும்.
 
485. Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya (1861 -1946) was an Indian politician, educationist, and freedom fighter notable for his role in the Indian independence movement and his espousal of Hindu nationalism. He was a scholar and a national leader during the freedom struggle wrote on the Bhagawad Gita,

" It brings to men the highest knowledge, the purest love and the most luminous action. It teaches self-control, the threefold austerity, non-violence, truth compassion, obedience to the call of duty for the sake of duty. It is a treasure house of Dharma not only for Hindus but for all mankind."
 
# 35. ஆழ்ந்து அறிதல் வேண்டும்.
அகந்தை எழும் இடத்தை உள்ளே ஆழ்ந்து அறிய வேண்டும்.
நீரில் விழுந் பொருளைக் காண வேண்டி முழுகுதல் போல்
கூர்த்த மதியால் பேச்சு மூச்சை அடக்கிக் கொண்டு
உள்ளே ஆழ்ந்து அறிதல் வேண்டும்.
 
In his Philosophy of the Upanishads, recently translated by Rev. A. S. Geden, Prof. Deussen claims, for its fundamental thought "an inestimable value for the whole race of mankind." It is in "marvelous agreement with the philosophy founded by Kant, and adopted and perfected by his great successor Schopenhauer." differing from it, where it does differ, only to excel. "It was here that for the first time the original thinkers of the Upanishads , to their immortal honour, found it when they recognized our Atman, our innermost individual being as the Brahman, the inmost being of universal nature and of all her phenomenon."

 
# 36. வேரோடு சாயும்.

"நான் யார்?" என்று விசாரித்து இதயத்தில் நுழைந்தால்,
அகந்தை வேரோடு சாயும்.

தன்னை அறிய ஆரம்பிக்கும் போது,
அகந்தை தன் குணத்தை மாற்றிக் கொள்ளுகிறது.

இது வரை மூழ்கி இருந்த ஜடத்தில் இருந்து விலகி,
ஆன்ம உணர்வில் மேலும் மேலும் மூழ்குகிறது.
 
# 37. "நான் யார்?"

நம் பெயரை விட்டு விடச் சொல்லுதல் என்பது

அதனைச் சேர்க்க வேண்டும் என்பதைப் போன்ற அகந்தையே.

"நான் யார்?" என்ற விசாரத்தில், "நான்" என்பது அகந்தை.

அகந்தையின் தோற்றுவாய் எது என்பதே இந்தக் கேள்வியின் பொருள்.
