'Foreign', 'Native' are relative concepts. In a global perspective, hardly anything is foreign. In a Universal perspective, hardly anything is extra-terrestrial.

We brought nothing, we carry nothing.

Whatever we as individuals subscribed to were imposed on us from outside of us. All are external. Our minds were conditioned and programmed to presume, assume and think, certain things as native and other things as foreign.

We are deceiving our own selves carrying certain things as ours and despising the rest as foreign. We are all in a delusion, ain't we.

Human beings keep moving, are dynamic, mix and mingle across communities, adopt, adapt and exchange culture.

For that matter many things we are practicing now are not from our forefathers. Culture is like the wind that keeps blowing and moving. We don't know where it originated from and where it goes and ends.

There are men and women of exemplary character, virtuous, intelligent, wise, modest, humble, gentle, possessed with every positive trait in every people group. These are not monopoly of any one particular people group. These are not part of DNA or Genetic to get passed on to progeny. There are numerous factors, external and internal, that play a vital role in building and developing the character of an individual.

Besides personal likes and dislikes, numerous other aspects and parameters play vital role in choosing a life partner. These change with times. Time cannot contain, confine or constrain them.

Even among brahmins you will find numerous men and women with inborn vices, wicked, cunning, cruel. While some change with time, space etc, a few are rigid.

You can never generalize anything.

That everyone has innate qualities is undeniable. Environment of course plays a role. The current foreign crop is the worst of nature and environment. When you mingle with that you get rotten too.

The ultimate direction I agree is towards oneness. Till then one needs to fight abominable qualities mend them if required and finally get along. Finally get along only after making it safe for us.

how many of us ready to marry vadyar or cook in our own TB community.....money and fame are main

consideration in marriage....many vadyar boys still unmarried....we can talk many theories....reality is very

differ.....in my own experience...i was in indian army....many parents and girls rejected due to army

profession...i got finally TB girl from delhi/north india...see the movie AMARAN....the boy is TB...

the girl is christian...it happened in india.... not in foreign land...

Intercaste marriages are common not only among brahmins but among most communities. It is inevitable in this age. It is also a matter of numbers. At any rate, the available number of suitable brides and grooms within one's community is far less compared to the overall pool. This is true for most communities and especially true for tamil brahmins. I.don't think it is because TB girls prefer males from other communities etc. These speculations are just that. There is not much evidence to prove it. In my experience, the percentage of intercaste marriages is more or less equal among TB boys and girls. The real stigma in our soceity (true for most Indians) s the expectation that the male be the dominant breadwinner of the household. So the groom is expected to at least match the qualifications of the bride in terms of education, employment etc and with high achieving females from.our community, this is a challenge. This is much less pronounced in western societies. Over time, our society may come out of this patriarchical mindset and that may actually help reverse or slow-down this issue.

A person from Brahmin background, marrying a non-brahmin, does not wear Brahmin label and is also impervious to the caste-label of the chosen partner, could not care less for caste labels. The caste-label is an illusion, is of the mind and unreal. It is of absolute insignificance in deciding the suitability of the prospect. Broader is such a mind. People marrying across caste perceive the other partner as a human being worthy to be a life partner and nothing other than that. False identities are of absolutely nil value and of nil significance. False identity is of value to the narrow mind, to the mean mind, to the feeble mind. Barring a few, most such couples live happily ever after. Contrastingly, a few marrying within caste, especially TB-TB, live happily ever after. After all in ideal cases, it is the life partner who stays till end of one's life. Hence better choose life partner independently.

Sravna, i was reading an article written by a spirtual person and that really opened my eyes.
The person wrote that we humans are like AI.
He said an AI is able to give you answers when we ask them questions..reason is because we feed the AI answers.

So he said that most of us humans also reproduce information that we studied but how many of us are truly intelligent?
He wrote that most of us are like AI and we go about life using information we acquired by education, upbringing, conditioning etc.

He also wrote that some of us might be more well informed than others..but overall its just a matter of who retains more information and we mistake information stored in us as intelligence.

I totally agree with what he wrote.
What am I without my book acquired information or my experience acquired information?
Nothing isnt it?

Dont get me wrong..I am not saying truly intelligent people dont exists but mostly we as humans have equated information as intelligence.
