9#8d. Kali PrabhAvam (4)
Some men will use their own daughters, some others their mother-in-law, some men will use the wives of their sons, some others their own sisters, some men will use the mothers of their co-wives, some others their brother’s wives.
In every house, those who are prohibited to be mixed with will be mixed with indiscriminately by the men – excepting one’s own mother. In Kali Yuga it will not matter who is whose wife or who is whose husband! There will be no surety that such and such a property belongs to such and such a man.
All men will become liars, licentious in their behavior, thieves, envious of other’s wives, and murderers of men. They will live by selling lac, iron and things prohibited by the SAstras.
Brahmins will go to unchaste lowly women and not observe AmAvAsya NishipAlana. Their holy threads will be cast away. SandhyA Vandanam and the other rules laid for personal cleanliness and all the good practices will disappear altogether.
There will be no distinction of food or of wombs or of the four Ashrama, or of persons. All will turn out to be Mlechchas. The whole world will be filled with Mlechchas. The trees will become just one hand high and the men will become of the size of a thumb.
Then BhagavAn NArAyaNa will incarnate as Kalki. Mounted on a mighty horse and wielding a sword with a long blade, he will free the world of the Mlechchas in just three nights. Then he will disappear from the face of the Earth.
Earth will be without any ruler and become filled with fearless robbers. There will be incessant rain, for six nights and the whole earth will be deluged. All the men, all the houses, and all the trees will be washed away.
After this the Twelve Suns will rise simultaneously and by their brilliant rays all the water will get dried up and the earth will become leveled once again.
Thus the dreadful Kali will pass away when the Satya Yuga will return.
