The end of Donald Trump for US Presidency

On October 8, The Washington Post published footage from 2005 of serial misogynist Donald Trump bragging that as a famous man, he can get away with anything. Like kissing women without waiting for permission. And grabbing women by the pussy. Trump has defended these comments, repeatedly, as “locker room talk.” When pressed by Anderson Cooper during the second presidential debate, he said that he absolutely had not sexually assaulted women.

These are the women who came forward with their account of Trumps behaviour.

This is not a comprehensive list.

Trump recorded having extremely lewd conversation about women in 2005

I am sorry sir for your plight. I understand the cost escalations. Unfortunately your state did not participate (that is what happens when you elect republicans).
But look at this way, what if obamacare was not implemented, would it have reduced your insurance, I DO NOT THINK SO. That is the nature of healthcare in USA.
It needs to be fixed, hopefully Clinton can fix it.

Your situation OBAMACARE or no-obamacare it would have been same. But Obamacare has helped 40 million mare people. You got to weigh the pros and cons for the greater good.
Obamacare has increased my taxes, so on personal level I do loose.

I agree. All insurance problems are not Obamacare problems.
People tend to conflate issues with the health care system with Obamacare.

The main problem with the health care system is the greed of the hospitals, doctors and pharma companies.

There's nothing like a presidential campaign to shine a bright light into the nooks, crannies and back alleys of a candidate's life. And there's nothing like Donald Trump in the annals of US politics.

Some of what's been revealed about Trump's predatory personal interactions
+
, business dealings, legal tactics and management style would come as no surprise to those who've made a career out of following the billionaire's rise to prominence. But ordinary Americans who began the 2016 campaign with a passing impression of Trump as the outspoken mogul of "Apprentice" fame now have far more information to draw upon as Election Day nears.

Despite his curated image as the businessman with the golden touch, Trump's track record in business isn't as magical as he would have people think. Yes, he is rich. Yes, he has had his share of success. But he's also kept company with any number of questionable business associates, had quite a share of projects go bust, left a string of contractors in the lurch, exaggerated his wealth and bragged of using his star power to impose himself sexually on women.

Thanks, Biswaji.

You left out the insurance company, and the consumer who demand highest care irrespective of their ability to pay and that too on demand.

Living among the red-rock gullies and the desert scrub in this corner of the country are a people who could soon exact their revenge on Donald Trump.
Because while the Republican presidential nominee appears to have forgotten about Native Americans of late, with his focus on Muslims and Mexicans, Arizona’s hundreds of thousands of Native Americans have not forgotten about him.
“I heard it for a long time, how he talks about Indians,” said Dennis Tsinnijinnie, 69 and among the first to cast his ballot on the sunny but brisk opening morning of Arizona’s early vote period last week.
Tsinnijinnie was talking about Trump’s behavior from decades ago, when he accused some Native Americans of faking their ethnicities to win casino licenses. When he disparaged tribes for receiving federal money for roads. When he mocked their sovereignty. And, more recently, when he insulted Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) with the epithet “Pocahontas.”
“Not so good to talk about it that way, I think,” Tsinnijinnie said.
Although Republicans have comfortably won Arizona in every presidential election since 2000, polling this autumn suggests a much tighter race ― one in which a big turnout by Native Americans could flip the state’s 11 electoral votes into Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s column.

Trump's deplorables plot.
The racism and bigotry ginned up by Donald Trump appears to have recently inspired not only more hate crimes but shockingly even a possible terrorist attack on U.S. soil by his fans. On Friday, three Kansas men who were allegedly part of a militia known as “The Crusaders” (as in Christian Crusaders) were arrested by the FBI for allegedly plotting to slaughter Muslim Somali immigrants in Garden City, Kansas. Their apparent goal was to kill these Muslims—even the children, as they allegedly boasted—using explosives and guns in the hopes of inspiring more people to “want this country back.” (If you’re wondering why this terror plot isn’t getting national headlines the answer is simple: The alleged terrorists weren’t Muslim.)

At least of one of three men allegedly involved in this terror plot, Patrick Stein, was a self-professed “big” Trump fan. Stein even allegedly quoted Trump’s words about dipping bullets in pig’s blood before killing the Muslims, which comes from a debunked story Trump has told countless times on the campaign trail of General Pershing fighting Muslims in the Philippines.

Warren then introduced Sanders, who quickly turned his sights on Trump and suggested that the GOP nominee could be the most unqualified candidate of a major political party in the history of the United States.

Elizabeth Warren Goes For Donald Trump’s Jugular, With Help From Bernie Sanders

They’re not going to stop until the “selfish little sleazeball” has been defeated.

Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) hit the trail for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on Sunday, taking every opportunity they could to jab her Republican opponent, Donald Trump.

With just over three weeks until Election Day and polls showing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump trailing heavily, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) might be smelling blood in the water.
Appearing with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Sunday at a rally for Hillary Clinton in Denver, Warren tore into the real estate mogul by calling him a “selfish little sleazeball” and a “pathetic cheapskate” who doesn’t deserve support from anyone who had previously backed Sanders’ primary campaign.
“Trump said he was excited for a housing crash because then he could swoop in and buy up more real estate on the cheap,” said Warren, referring to comments Trump made ahead of the 2008 recession.
“What kind of a man does something like that?” she continued. “A small, insecure money-grubber who cares about no one and nothing but himself. A man who will never be president of the United States.”
Warren has become a reliable attack dog against Trump throughout the campaign, often calling him a “loser” or a “chicken” for refusing to release his tax returns. Speaking Sunday, she also sought to contrast the substance of the two political parties, saying that Democrats have remained focused on issues, while Republicans have been sucked into the swamp created by Trump.
“I am proud that we are a party that doesn’t debate who has the smallest hands. Or who can build the longest, tallest, fake gold-plated wall in the world,” Warren said. “I’m proud that we are not looking for the most obscene way to demean women. I’m proud that Democrats spend our time working on how we can build a future for all of our people.”
I am proud that we are a party that doesn’t debate who has the smallest hands. Or who can build the longest, tallest, fake gold-plated wall in the world.Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.)
As a surrogate for the Clinton campaign, Warren has often been tasked with reaching out to younger progressive voters who had previously rallied behind Sanders. Recent surveys have shown large numbers of millennials offering support to Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson or Jill Stein of the Green Party.
Warren once again sought to mend these bridges by crediting Sanders for shaping the direction of the Democratic Party ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
“Thanks to Bernie Sanders, we have the most progressive Democratic platform in American history,” she said.
Warren then introduced Sanders, who quickly turned his sights on Trump and suggested that the GOP nominee could be the most unqualified candidate of a major political party in the history of the United States.

“I have been running all over this country for a year and a half talking about a corrupt tax system. And in one day, Donald Trump did more to explain the corrupt tax system to the American people than I did in a year and a half. Thank you, Donald,” Sanders said.
“What Donald said is, ‘Yeah, I’m a multibillionaire. I’ve got mansions all over the world. But you know what? I, a billionaire, don’t have to pay any taxes and I’m proud of it because you suckers are going to pay the taxes for me,’” Sanders continued, referring to tax records that show Trump could have avoided paying federal income tax for nearly two decades.
“We’re going to beat Trump and beat him badly,” Sanders said. “And we’re going to bring millions of people together to create a political revolution.”
Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.

Could one of you veterans open a thread on America's Health Care System. I would like to hear about what other have seen good and bad in this system. I have seen billing from Doctors office showing the doctor's charges and how much I copayed and how much insurance paid to doctor and the the deficit or loss that the Doctor takes. Whereas when my wife recently went to the same Doctor now at a different facility and she also with a group health discount plan their rates for us are now much higher than what they get paid by Insurance companies. So how come they cannot tolerate losses from me but with Insurance they don't bother. Only once an emergency care facility tried to bill me and and when I called the insurance provider(my company's) they simply said don't pay them anything. It's all taken care off.
Also drug prices are crazy. Walmart charges $10 for 90 day supply, while CVS charges $35 for a 30 day supply of exactly the same generic prescription for Simvastatin. I have not checked other pharmacies.
I think such discussions belong to another separate healthcare in America discussion thread. I would love to learn from our TB community about tricks and tips for navigating this.

BTW your links don't work. Sabotaged by Amma's supporters since they are derogatory to her probably!
Amma is very internet savvy and seems to be using it on her administration a lot.
I believe she even delivers food to the poor and homeless via Skype!
They can go the nearest free computer center and order their Govt. packaged food!

True She is digitalizing the administrarion - Even the ration card to become a smart card from December when the current card expires! Even now when your ration card is used and billed you get a sms alert! But she should win every election to do all these !

I would like to discuss it with you (if it helps), but I do not think there will be any interest. Most of the TB members live in India.
Check this site before you buy any medicine.
http://www.goodrx.com/

When you go to any Healthcare provider including Dentist, now they make you sign a document, that forces you to pay any amount not covered by Insurance. Generally Healthcare provider covered by insurance policies would accept their payments and GENERALLY will not take you to court.

I did start a new thread.

[h=1]Trump Mailer Confuses Undecided Sikh Voter For Muslim Trump Supporter[/h][h=2]“I don’t want my name and photograph associated with the Trump campaign.”[/h]
When Gurinder Singh Khalsa saw a photo of himself on a Donald Trump campaign flier labeling him a Muslim supporter of the Republican nominee, he wasn’t happy.
That’s because Singh Khalsa isn’t a Trump supporter and he isn’t a Muslim. He’s a Sikh and still undecided about whom he’s voting for, he told The Huffington Post.
“The Trump campaign seems to have embraced values that are completely at odds with the Sikh religion,” he told HuffPost. “I don’t want my name and photograph associated with the Trump campaign.”
Singh Khalsa, who runs a political action committee that supports Sikh candidates and values, has no idea how a photo of him wound up on a Trump campaign flier ― he has met with politicians before but he has never been to a Trump rally or event.
He is pretty sure, however, that his beard and turban are why he was misidentified as a Muslim. Singh Khalsa is worried by that basic ignorance, and also by the toll that anti-Muslim violence and bullying has not only on Muslims, but on the Sikh community as well.

Trump does not seem to understand either the media's role or the dynamics of an election campaign. When the media pull out anything negative on him, he immediately criticizes everyone and the media for sabotaging his campaign, with false reporting. However if the polls are in his favor he will endlessly quote that same poll and say he is winning. I think it is best if all the pollsters and media show him as leading(falsely of course) so eventually he will lose and then we can all go home happy. He is like a child. We have to apply reverse psychology to Trump, so he will keep gloating over his predicted victory. When reality hits him on Nov 8th then he will realize that everybody has lied and it will be too late.
He gets carried away by the large crowd in his rallies. Half the crowd is there only for the fun of it the other half are the actual deplorables that support him.

But she should win every election to do all these !
Hi JJ,
You can sing this song praising Amma:
அம்மாவும் நீயே அப்பாவும் நீயே.
அன்புடனே அாதரிக்கும் தெய்வமும் நீயே.
Best of luck with TN politics.
Amma I believe would love Hillary as POTUS.

Notice Amma has the upper hand on the handshake!
Body language experts say that's a sign of superiority!
Way to go Amma!

[h=1]70 Nobel Laureates Endorse Hillary ClintonIn an open letter released Tuesday and addressed to the American people, 70 Nobel laureates “strongly and fully” endorsed Hillary Clinton for the presidency. “To preserve our freedoms, protect our constitutional government, safeguard our national security, and ensure that all members of our nation will be able to work together for a better future,” the letter began, “it is imperative that Hillary Clinton be elected as the next President of the United States.” The Nobel recipients in economics, physics, chemistry, and medicine suggested that the next president must be someone displaying “vigorous support for science and technology” and someone with the intent to promote innovation with “sensible immigration and education policies” to bolster the scientific workforce. Among the signatories were this year’s economics prize recipient Oliver Hart, and this year’s chemistry prize winner J. Fraser Stoddart. Noticeably absent from the letter is 2008 economics Nobel prize winner and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman, who has been quite supportive of Clinton’s policies in the past.[/h]http://www.thedailybeast.com/cheats/2016/10/18/70-nobel-laureates-endorse-hillary-clinton.html?via=desktop&source=copyurl

At a campaign rally for Hillary Clinton on Friday, Obama used it as a point of contrast between her and Trump.

“No matter how tough the odds, no matter how much people try to knock her down, she doesn’t point fingers or whine,” Obama said. “She doesn’t talk about how everything is rigged. She just works harder and gets the job done.”
He continued, “I notice her opponent – he seems to be in the middle of the game, making excuses all the time for why he might be losing. And it's always interesting to me to see folks who talk tough but then don't act tough. Because if you're tough, you don't make excuses. You don't start complaining about the refs before the game is even done. You just play the game, right?”

Trump will win by a landslide, despite all the polls to the contrary!!

Here’s why..

Despite all the issues surrounding Clinton, it was obvious, Trump was not acceptable to a lot more people due to his hardline stances/statements, etc…

So by all accounts, he would have lost this election in normal course like Romney/McCain earlier, if the media had not messed up.

Media outlets went hammer & tong against Trump to prove their political correctness, show that they are not racist, xenophobic etc… NBC deliberately released the 2005 tape just before 4 weeks to the election to damage his presidential bid despite having this video handy all along. NYT & others went euphoric & paraded the women who accused him of sexual assault. All of the Media declared Clinton winner for all the 3 debates, no chance for Trump, his debates were terrible, his comments on the video is so evil, & he is so bad, that he is the very Satan. So the biased reporting was total & complete.

So it is obvious he has to lose now… media has spoken. The betting syndicates even paid out to people who bet on Clinton win.. wow, so the election is all over..

Now, Trump was left with no time to analyze these allegations & bring witnesses to refute them, some people started saying, it is unfair. And he brilliantly capitalized by saying the crooked media is against him & the entire election is rigged, & that he is the victim. He went hammer & tong on this. Imagine he is against all of media, all of his own republican party, media parading every republican to oppose him, so everyone is against him. And he is fighting a absolutely lonely battle..

And everyone across the world now views Trump as a victim, bumbling idiot, but not a bad guy & all his statements are forgotten. On the other hand, Clinton is seen as a very cunning woman, dyed in the wool politician & is working the media behind the scenes unfairly to win this election. Wikileaks emails continue to show this Clinton / media collusion..

Now, we all know how Karna is immortalized by people despite him being portrayed as a bad guy in the Mahabharata. Why ?, becos he was killed when he was defenseless. And that is an absolute no no !! fairness is very deeply embedded in us humans, it over rides all other emotions. That’s why Karna is a eternal hero, portrayed in all our movies, folk tales, etc.. & Arjuna is forgotten to the sidelines. Not a single movie, folk tale, glorifies Arjuna..

So even if Trump is a very bad guy, he should be defeated in a fair fight & seen to be a fair fight. If it is an unfair fight, people will rally towards him irrespective of his failings.

Imagine, in the war with Karna, if people could intervene & change the result, they would have saved him. So that’s what is going to happen now. Coz of the media idiots consistent biased reporting, people will rally towards Trump & make him win this election. So the very women who are supposed to be offended by his comments, will vote for him or abstain from voting completely. Women are more emotionally wired to support people (even villains) who are unfairly defeated despite any/all short comings. They will not kick him when he is down by voting for Clinton.

So there you go… what should have been slam dunk for Clinton, is going to go to Trump !!

Are you comparing Trump's case with that of the noble and righteous Karna.
Please, are you even a Hindu?
Karna knowingly gave up his armor knowing that was Krishna's preordained destiny for him. He accepted that with all humility.
No sir, I totally disagree with you about Trump and your comparison.
Trump is getting ready to challenge the election outcome if he does not win!
