God gives many opportunities to everyone. But people do not utilise them.
Instead they criticize the God that the God has not looked after his/her interests.
Generally, often people make a statement that God treats well somebody and
ill-treats somebody. But it is not really so. An actual incident which come to the notice
is narrated here.
A farmer on account of loss in his agriculture, went to the forest and started
cutting all the trees and sold them. The Village incharge once casually visited
the nearby said forest and asked the farmer, 'why are you cutting trees, are you not
doing a mistake, it will affect the environment". The farmer in reply mentioned
to the Chairman Village Panchayat, HOW DO I LIVE, I do not have anything to eat
because of loss in agriculture, what you expect me to do. My family is suffering for
want of food. I do not get any help from anyone or from the Government.
On seeing the condition, the Village Panchayat chief called the concerned people
and scolded them in his presence and arranged a Sandal Garden for his well-being.
After sometime, the Chief called the Farmer and asked him, are you happy now.
The Farmer replied, earlier I was able to eat One quarter of food or liquid diet,
whereas now I and my family are able to eat at least half the stomach. The Chief
got startled, astonished and worried, and said to himself "how can it happen". He
and other people of the village went to the site and inspected as to what is happening.
They noticed that the Farmer had cut all the Sandal Trees, burnt them and
was selling them as Coal. Village chief criticized himself for extending the above
help to the Farmer and mentioned to him that even if God gives something good
to someone, he/she is not able to utilize it for a better way. Hence he/she has no
other outlet but to weep through out the life for such acts.
