6#8c. Getting annoyed with Siva

Dhakshaayani resumed her penance. Days rolled by. One fine day Siva appeared on Nandhi Devan, wearing his rudraaksham and kapaala maalai. He took her on Nandhi and went away to Kailash.

The friends of the girl were startled by the sudden unexpected happenings and ran to tell Dakshan. He was also shocked by the manner his daughter had been taken away by her husband.

"Siva disappeared during the wedding ceremony. Now he has taken away my daughter like no one has done ever before! He took her away without even informing us her parents. Is it right on his part to do so? He has put to shame my race and my clan. I knew he would beg for his food. But it appears he is a thief as well."

Dakshan could never forgive Siva. He was blaming Siva whenever he got a chance to do so.

6#9a. கயிலை ஏகுதல்.

தக்க செயல் அன்று என்று தேவர்கள்
தக்கன் செயலை அறிந்து வருந்தினர்;

மேன்மைகள் பெறுவது செய்தவத்தால்.
மேன்மைகள் அழிவது ஆணவத்தால்.

சிவனுக்கும் இவனுக்கும் உண்டாகிய
பகையினை அழிக்க முடிவு செய்தனர்.

"குற்றம் பார்க்கின் சுற்றம் இல்லை!
மற்று நீ மகளைக் காணவேண்டாமா?

கயிலை மலை சென்று மகிழ்வுடன்
கயிலை நாதரைக் கண்டு வருவாய்"

சிந்தித்துப் பார்த்தான் சினம் நீக்கி;
இந்தச் சொற்களின் நன்மை விளங்கியது.

திருக் கயிலை சென்று வர உடன் பட்டான்;
ஒரு சிறு குழுவுடன் அவன் புறப்பட்டான்.

சிவன் எழுந்தருளிய கோவிலை அணுகி
அவன் அடைந்தான் நந்தி தேவரை.

6#9a. Visiting Kailash.

The Devas felt sorry watching Dakshan's behavior. Boons are received by doing penance and the same greatness might be lost by arrogance. They wanted to put an end to the misunderstanding between Siva and Dakshan.

They advised Dakshan," If you keep harping on the faults of others, soon you will have none you can call as your own. You must not lose contact with your dear daughter. Go to Kailash and iron out the differences with Siva"

Dakshan thought over this with a calm mind devoid of hatred and anger. He understood the truth in these statements. He agreed to visit Kailash with a small group of persons. He set out to Kailash and reached there. He approached Nandhi Devan.

6#9b. பூதர்கள் தடை.

தக்கன் உள்ளே நுழையாதவாறு
தடுத்தன காவல் செய்யும் பூதர்கள்.

“என் மகளைக் காண வந்துள்ளேன்.
என்னைத் தடுக்க நீங்கள் யார்?”

“சிந்தித்த போதெல்லாம் நிந்தித்தாய்!
இந்தநாள் வரும் என்று அறியவில்லை!

உலகை வாட்டும் அரக்கர் குலம் கூட
நிலவணி பிரானை நேசித்து வாழ்ந்திடும்.

அரக்கர் கொண்டுள்ள அன்பில் ஒரு
அணு அளவேனும் கொள்ளவில்லை நீ!

சிவன் தந்த மேன்மைகளும் வேண்டும்;
அவனை தூற்றி இகழவும் வேண்டும்;

மாயையின் வசப்பட்டு தீவினைகளால்
தூய அறிவினை நீ இழந்து விட்டாய்.

வழிபாடு செய்ய விரும்பினால் நில்!
இழித்துப் பேச விரும்பினால் செல்!”

“சிவன் சொற்படித் தடை செய்தீர்கள்.
சிவனை ஒருநாளும் தொழேன் நான்!

தேவர் என் ஏவலர், கடவுளர் நண்பர்;
தேவை இல்லை எனக்குச் சிவன் அருள்!”

திரும்பி விட்டான் தக்க மாநகருக்கு!
இருந்தான் வெறுப்பின் உச்சியில்;

தேவர்களிடம் துணிந்து கூறினான்
தேவாதி தேவனை இகழும் சொற்களை.

“கருத்தொருமித்தனர் சிவனும், மகளும்;
காவல் பூதங்கள் தடுத்து நிறுத்தின.

பூதர்கள் என்னை இகழ்ந்து தூற்றினர்;
பூதர்கள் எனக்கு அனுமதி மறுத்தனர்;

உமையைச் சிவனை வழிபடல் ஆகாது
உரிமைகள் பறிபோகும் இதை மீறினால்!”

6#9B.Siva Ganas stop Dakshan.

The Siva ganas guarding kailash refused entry to Dakshan. “I came to visit my daughter. Who are you to stop me?” he asked the ganas.

“Whenever you thought of Siva, you were abusing him.You never realized that this day will come! Even the cruel asuras who torture the world love Siva. You do not have even an atom of their love to Siva!

You want to enjoy all the greatness conferred on you by Siva. you also want to blame him to your heart’s content. You are under the influence of Maya and have lost your good sense. If you want to worship Siva you may stay here. If you want to blame him go back now.”

Dakshan’s anger knew no bounds. “You are stopping me as advised by your lord Siva. I will never worship him. All the Devas are my servants and all the Gods are my friends. I do not need the grace of Siva”

He returned to Dakshapuri in a rage. He continued to blame Siva and speak ill of him to the other Deva. “My daughter and Siva see eye to eye now. The guarding ganans stopped me from entering kailash. They spoke ill of me. No one should worship Siva and Uma hence forth. Any one disobeying this order will lose all his rights and liberties!”

6#10a. நான்முகன் வேள்வி.

தக்கனுக்கு அஞ்சி நடுங்கிய தேவர்கள்
தக்கன் ஆணைப்படி நடந்து வந்தனர்;

நஞ்சையுண்டவனை நாயகன் ஆக்கி
நான்முகன் வேள்வி செய்ய விழைந்தான்.

தேவையான பொருட்களைச் சேகரித்து
தேவர்களுடன் சென்றான் கயிலைமலை.

வேள்வியைச் சிறப்பிக்க வருமாறு
வேண்டினான் முக்கட்பிரான் சிவனை.

“நமது வடிவம் கொண்டுள்ள நந்தியை
நான்முகன் வேள்விக்கு அனுப்புகிறேன்.”

தக்கனையும் அழைத்தான் வேள்விக்கு.
தக்க தருணத்தில் தொடங்கியது வேள்வி.

வேள்விக்கு வந்த தேவர் கூட்டத்திற்கு
வேண்டிய உபசாரங்களைச் செய்தான்.

“நான்முகனின் வேள்விக்குச் சென்று
நமது அவிர் பாகத்தை வாங்கி வா!”

பணித்தான் ஈசன் நந்தி தேவரிடம்;
கணங்களுடன் சென்றான் வேள்விக்கு!

வரவேற்றான் நந்தியை பிரமன் வணங்கி;
அரியணை மீது அமர்த்தி கௌரவித்தான்;

நந்தியின் பெருமையைக் கண்ட உடனே
சிந்தையில் மூண்டது பொறாமைத் தீ.

“தெய்வங்கள் கூடியுள்ள இந்த இடத்தில்
பேய்கள், பூதங்கள், நந்தியின் கூட்டமா?

வெள்ளி மலையைக் காவல் புரியும் காளை
வேள்விச்சாலையில் என்ன செய்கிறது?”

சினந்து நோக்கினான் நான்முகனை;
சீற்றத்துடன் பேசலானான் தக்கன்.

6#10a. Brahma’s yagna.

Brahma wanted to perform a yagna with Siva as the main deity. He gathered all the things required for the yaaga . He went to Kailash and invited Siva to grace the ceremony with his presence.

Siva replied, “I will send Nandhi as my representative to the yaaga.” Daakshn was also invited. The Yaga started at an auspicious hour. Nandhi was sent to represent Siva along with the siva ganas. Brahma receive Nandhi with great honor and offered him a throne to sit on.

Dakshan’s anger knew no bounds.
“This is a place where all the gods have gathered. What business does the guarding bull of Kailash have here along with its group of demons?”

He stared at Brahma with great anger and started talking harshly.

6#10b. நந்தியின் வெகுளி.

“நீயா முதல்வனாகிய நான்முகன்?
நீயே அறிவித்தாய் வேள்வியைப் பற்றி

நீறணிந்து பிச்சை எடுக்கும் சிவனிடம்.
நீ வணங்கி அமர்த்தினாய் நந்தியை!

என் தந்தை என்பதால் பிழைத்தாய்
அன்றேல் தலை தனியாகி இருக்கும்!

சுடலையில் பேய் பூதக் கூட்டத்துடன்
நடனமாடும் சிவனுக்கு அவிர்பாகமா?

நெடுமாலுக்கு அளிப்போம் அவிர்பாகம்
நடமாடும் பித்தனுக்கு அளிக்காதே அதை!”

போற்றும் பிரானைப் பற்றித் தக்கன்
சாற்றிய மொழி துளைத்தது செவிகளை.

காதுகளைக் கைகளால் மூடினார் நந்தி.
சாது மிரண்டால் காடு கொள்ளாது!

நந்தியின் சினத்தால் நடுங்கியது உலகு.
நான்முகனும், திருமாலும் கலங்கினர்.

“உமையொரு பாகனை இகழ்ந்தாய் நீ!
உன்னைக் கொல்வேன் மேலும் வைதால்!

சிவனைப் பழிப்பவன் தலை சேதமாகுக!
சிவனை மதியாதவர் செல்வம் அழிக!

உன்னைச் சேர்ந்த தேவர்கள் நெடுநாள்
துன்புறுக சூரபத்ம அவுணனிடம்!”எனப்

பற்பல சாபங்கள் இட்டார் நந்திதேவர்.
பிற்பாடு திரும்பினார் கயிலையங்கிரி.

6#10b. Nandi’s rage

“You went and informed about the yagna to Siva. you invited him. You gave a seat of honor to Nandhi. You are my father or else your head would have rolled down!

Siva dances with the ganans and demons in the cremation ground and you made him as the prime deity of the yagna. Offer the havis to Vishnu and not to the mad beggar Siva!”

On hearing these vile words, Nandhi shivered with rage. The anger of a good person is unbearable! The whole world shivered with fear. Brahma and Vishnu were upset with these developments.

Nandhi told Dakshan,”If you say one more about Siva, I will kill you. May he who ridicules Siva lose his head. May the wealth of the one who speaks ill of Siva be destroyed. May all the Deva who took part in this unholy yagna suffer in the hands of the asuras and Soorapadman for a very long time!”

Nandhi cast many curses. He then returned to Kailash with his group of ganas.

Even those WHO are unable to read the Tamil scripts can benefit by reading the shortest and crispest English

translations within my capacity.

6#11. தக்கனின் வேள்வி.

வேள்விகள் நின்று போயின முற்றிலுமாக.
வேள்விகள் செய்ய அஞ்சினர் சாபத்தால்.

“வேள்வியை மறந்தது ஏன்?” தக்கன் வினவ,
“வேள்வியை விடுத்தது நந்தியின் சாபத்தால்!”

“வேள்வியை விடக் கூடாது நாம் அச்சத்தால்
வேள்வியைச் செய்கின்றேன் நானே முதலில்!”

விஸ்வகர்மனிடம் பணித்தான் தக்கன்,
“விசேஷ யாகசாலை அமைத்திடுவாய்!”

கங்கைக் கரையில் அமைந்தான் சீரிய
மங்கலம் பொருந்திய பெரிய யாகசாலை.

முனிவர்களைப் பின் அழைத்தான் தக்கன்,
பணித்தான் வேள்விப் பொருட்கள் திரட்ட.

சங்க நிதி, பத்ம நிதி, காமதேனு மற்றும்
சிந்தாமணி, ஐந்தருக்களை அழைத்தான்.

முனிவர் அளித்தனர் அறுசுவை உண்டி.
முனிவர் அளித்தனர் வேண்டியவற்றை.

“அனைவருக்கும் அனுமதி-சிவனைத் தவிர!
அனைவருக்கும் நல்வரவு-சிவனைத் தவிர”

முறைப்படித் தொடங்கியது தக்கன் வேள்வி.
மூன்று மனைவியருடன் வந்தான் தக்கன்.

வந்தனர் இந்திரன், அயிராணி, அரம்பையர்,
ருத்திரர், ஆதித்தர், திக்குப் பாலகர்கள்.

மருத்துவர், இயக்கர், வசுக்கள்,
சித்த வித்யாதரர், கதிரவன், மதி.

மாலும், பிரமனும் மணியணையில் அமர
மறைகள் ஒலித்தன; தூதுவர் திரும்பினர்.

முனிவர்கள் சிலர் வரவில்லை வேள்விக்கு!
என உரைத்தனர் தக்கனிடம் தூதுவர்கள்.

6#11. Dakshan’s yagna.

The yagnaas stopped completely. People were afraid to perform yagnaas due to the fear of Nandhi’ saapam. Dakshan asked,”Why have the yagnaas been discontinued?” The reply was,” We are afraid of Nandhi’s curse.”

Dakshan told them, “We should not stop the yagnaas due to fear. I will myself revive the yagnaas!”
He ordered Viswakarma to prepare a huge and auspicious yaagasaalaa. It was setup in the banks of river Ganges.

Dakshan told the rushis to collect the things needed for the yaagaaa. Kamadhenu, Sankha nidhi, Padma nidhi and Cinthamani were ordered to give the things necessary for the yaagaa. Everyone was welcomed except Siva. Every could attend except Siva.

Dakshan came to the yaagaa with his three wives. Indra, Indraani, apsaras, Rudras, Adithyaas, dikpaalakaas, yakshas, vasus, sidhdhas, vidhyaadaraas, the sun and the moon arrived. Brahma and Vishnu sat on the gem studded simhaasanaa.

The Vedas were chanted. The messengers returned and told that some of the rishis had ignored the yaaga.

6#12a. ததீசி வந்தார்

தம்மைப் பல முனிவர்கள் சூழ்ந்து வர
ததீசி வந்தார் அந்த யாக சாலைக்கு.

இருத்தினான் ததீசியை இருக்கையில்
இருபுறங்களிலும் மற்ற முனிவர்களை.

“என்ன காரணத்திற்காக நீ அழைத்தாய்?”
சொன்னான் தக்கன் நடந்த நிகழ்ச்சிகளை.

மகள் திருமணம் சிவனுடன் நடந்ததை,
மண நிகழ்ச்சியில் சிவன் மறைந்ததை,

மகளைக் களவாக அழைத்துச் சென்றதை,
மகளைக் காண கயிலை சென்றதை,

பூதர் தன்னைப் பலவாறு இகழ்ந்ததை,
பூதர் உள்ளே நுழையாமல் தடுத்ததை,

நந்தி நான்முகன் வேள்விக்கு வந்ததை,
நந்தியிடம் அவிசு கொடாமல் தடுத்ததை,

நந்திதேவன் சினந்து சாபம் அளித்ததை,
நான்முகன் வேள்வியை நிறுத்தி விட்டதை!

“ஐயம் ஏற்று உண்ணும் சிவனின் அவியை
ஐயம் திரிபற மாற்றுவதற்காக வேள்வி.

அனைவருக்குமுண்டு அனுமதி, நல்வரவு
சினத்தை எரியூட்டிய சிவனைத் தவிர!”

6#12a. Dadeechi arrives!

Dadeechi arrived with his disciples. Dakshan offered them seats. Dadeechi wished to know why Dakshan

had called him. Dakshan related the recent happenings…the wedding of his daughter with Siva, the sudden

disappearance of Siva during the wedding ceremony, Siva’s taking away his daughter secretly, his visit to

Kailash, the way he was insulted by the Siva ganas, the yaga performed by Brahma, Nandhi attending it

as Siva’s representative, Dakshan stopping Siva’s share of the havisu being given to Nandhi and the

curses laid by Nandhi.

He concluded thus, “Now my aim is to prove that Siva the one who begs for his food is not fit to be the

god of yagna. I invite and welcome everyone except Siva who has made me angry!”

6#12b. ததீசியின் பதில்.

தக்கன் உரையைக் கேட்ட முனிவர்
பற்கள் தெரிய பலமாக நகைத்தார்.

“உலகின் தன்னிகரில்லாத தனிப்பெரும்
தலைவனை இகழ்ந்தோ இவ்வேள்வி?”

வேள்வியின் தலைவன் சிவன் அல்லவா?
வேறு எவருக்கு உண்டு அந்தத் தகுதி?

தீயின் முதல்வன், வேள்வியின் தலைவன்,
நீ அறியாயோ சிவ பெருமான் என்று?

உயிர்களின் தலைவன் சிவன் என்பதை
உலகம் முழுவதும் நன்கு அறியும்.

மாயையில் அழுந்தி உள்ளாய் நீ!
தீயவற்றை நாடிச் செய்கின்றாய்.

துன்பத்தை நாடி வேள்வி ஒன்றினைச்
செய்வரோ எவரேனும் உன்னை அன்றி!

மறை மொழியை விலக்கிச் செய்தால்
நிறைவு பெறாது செய்யும் வேள்வி!

சிவன் ஆணையால் அழியும் வேள்வி!
சிவனைப் பணியாதவர் அழிந்து படுவர்.”

6#12b. Dadeechi’s reply.

Dadeechi laughed out aloud showing his teeth.

“Are you doing this yagna just to insult Siva, the lord second to none?

Siva is the god of all yagaas. Who else is qualified for that?

He is the lord of Fire. He is the lord of Yagna.

He is the lord of creation. Everyone knows this.

You are steeped in Maayaa! You wantonly do forbidden things.

Will anyone do yagna just to reap ill effects and sin?

If you do yagna disobeying the Veda,

this yaaga will not be completed.

Siva’s anger will destroy it.

He who challenges Siva will be destroyed!”

6#12c. ததீசியும், தக்கனும்

“சிவன் அவியைத் தருவேன் மாலுக்கு!
அவன் அருள் தேவை இல்லை எனக்கு!”

“பெரியோரைத் தாழ்த்தியும் மற்றும்
சிறியோரை உயர்த்தியும் செய்யும்

செயல் பயனற்றது மட்டுமின்றிப்
பயக்கும் தீமை உன் சுற்றத்துக்கு.”

“ருத்திரர்களுக்கு அளிப்பேன் அவியை!”
“ருத்திரர் சிவனின் சாரூப்ய அடியவர்”

“படைக்கும் காக்கும் கடவுளை விட
அழிக்கும் கடவுள் மேலானவனா?”

“ஆதி அந்தம் இல்லாத ஜோதிக்கு
ஏது வடிவும், செயலும், பிறவும்?

மறைகள் உலகுக்கு இவ்வுண்மையை
அறை கூவுவதை நீ அறியவில்லையா?

படைத்தான் பிரமனை, நெடுமாலை!
கொடுத்தான் இருவருக்கும் தொழில்.

பிறவிக் கடலில் வீழ்ந்தவரை மீண்டும்
கரை ஏற்றுபவன் சிவபெருமானே!

தேவர்களின் செல்வத்தைக் கவரமுயன்ற
தீக் கடவுளைத் தடுத்தவன் சிவபெருமான்.

அழியும் இயல்பை உடைய தேவர்கள்
வழிமாறி வந்தனர் உன் வேள்விக்கு!

பிழைக்க விரும்பினால் தக்கனே!
இழைக்காதே இப்பெரும் பிழையை!”

6#12c. Dadeechi and Dakshan.

Dakshan continued, ” I will give Siva’s share of havis to Vishnu. I do not require Siva’s blessings any more!” “Degrading great gods and promoting subordinates will be not only useless but also harmful to your clan” Dadeechi replied.

Dakshan said,”I will give the havis to Rudraas” Dadeechi replied. “But Rudraas are the saaroopya mukthaas of Siva”

Dakshan argued further,”How can the god of destruction be superior to the gods of creation and protection?”

“Siva is without a beginning or an end.He has no form nor qualities not any tasks to perform. Vedas declare these facts to the world, Are you not aware of them? Siva created Vishnu and Brahma and gave them tasks to perform.

Only Siva can give mukthi from samsaaram. Siva stopped Vayu from looting the wealth of the Deva. The devas who have attended your yaaga are destined to die. If you want to live long, give up this yagnaa!” Dadeechi warned Dakshan.

6#13a. கேள்விக் கணைகள்

நகைத்தான் தக்கன் இதைக் கேட்டு.
“நன்றாக இருக்கிறது உங்கள் கூற்று!

பரம் பொருள் என்பவர் அணிவாரோ
பாரமான எலும்புத் தலை மாலையை?

திருநீறு பூசித் திரிவரோ மேனியில்?
திருவோடு கரத்தில் ஏந்தி நடப்பரோ?

முடியைக் களைந்து நடப்பரோ அன்றி
முடிமேல் பிறையினை அணிவாரோ?

பூணுவாரோ ஒரு பன்றிக் கோட்டினை?
அணிவாரோ ஓர் ஆமை ஓட்டினை?

உடுப்பரோ ஒரு வரிப் புலித் தோலை?
உடுப்பரோ கரிய யானைத் தோலை?

முத்தலைச் சூலத்தைத் தொடுவாரோ?
பிச்சை எடுத்து அதை உண்பாரோ?

பணியே கூத்தாடுவது என இருப்பாரோ?
பணிகளை அணிகளாக அணிவரோ?

ஆடையின்றி எங்கும் அலைவாரோ?
சுடலையில் நடனம் செய்வாரோ?

தலையில் பெண்ணைச் சுமப்பாரோ?
தாமச குணத்தில் நிலைப்பாரோ?”

6#13a. The questions raised by Dakshan.

Dakshan laughed and said,

” Your words make me laugh.

Will the supreme God wear a garland made of skulls?

Will he smear ash all over his body?

Will he carry a bowl and beg for his food?

Will he shave his head and roam around ?

Will he sport the crescent moon on his matted coils?

Will he wear the tusk of a boar?

Will he wear the shell of a tortoise?

Will he wear the skin of a striped tiger?

Will he wear the black hide of an elephant?

Will he carry a deer and mazhu in his two hands?

Will he make trisoola his weapon?

Will he eat alms like a beggar?

will he spend all his time in dancing?

will he wear poisonous snakes as his jewels?

will he roam around with demons as his companions?

Will he walk around stark naked?

Will he dance in the cremation ground?

will he carry a woman on his head?

Will he be established in Tamasa guna?”

6#13b. எலும்பு அணிதல்

பொங்கிய சினத்தை அடக்கிய முனிவர்
கங்கையணி பிரானைப் போற்றினார்.

“சிவனது திருவுடல் அருள் வடிவானது.
சிவன் பொருந்துவார் தேவர்கள் மீது.

செயல்கள் படைத்தல், காத்தல், அழித்தல்.
உயிர்களுக்கு ஊட்டுவார் வினைப் பயன்.

களிப்புடன் பக்குவம் அடைந்தவர்களுக்கு
அளிப்பார் கிடைப்பதற்கரிய வீடு பேறு!

ஒடுக்குவார் உலகங்களை உயிர்களை.
ஒடுக்குவார் பிரமனைத் திருமாலை.

அழிவின்றித் தான் இருப்பார் என்றும்.
அழிப்பார் மற்ற எல்லாவற்றையுமே.

அணிவார் எலும்பு மாலை அவ்வமயம்.
அணிவார் மயிர்ப் பூணூல் அவ்வமயம்.

அணிவார் முத்தலைச் சூலத்தில் கோர்த்து;
அணிவார் எரித்துவிட்டு அச்சாம்பலை.

முன்னர் தேவர் செய்த தவப்பயனே இவை,
அன்றிப் பிரானின் மருட்செயல் அன்று!

வாழ்க வளமுடன், விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.

6#13b. Bones as ornaments!

Dadeechi became very angry but controlled it and replied to Dakshan.

“Siva is the personification of mercy. He resides in Deva.

His task is the creation, sustenance and destruction of every thing.

He gives liberation to the jeevas who are ready to receive it.

He destroys everything. He himself never gets destroyed.

At the time of destruction he wears the garland of skulls and

he wears a poonool made of hair. He uses his trisoola.

He smears the ash obtained after burning everything.

These are the graces of Siva and not the expressions of his tamasic guna.”

6#13c. பன்றிக் கோடு

இரணியன் கவர்ந்தான் அன்று நிலத்தை.
அரக்கன் மறைத்தான் அதை பிலத்தில்.

அஞ்சி நடுங்கின உயிர்த் தொகைகள்;
அச்சம் தீர்க்க வெளி வந்தார் திருமால்

பிரமன் மூக்கில் இருந்து ஒரு பன்றியாக.
மேரு போலப் பேருருவம் எடுத்தது பன்றி!

பிலத்தில் புகுந்து வெளிக் கொணர்ந்தது;
நிலத்தை நிலை நிறுத்தியது முன்போல.

மதித்து தன்னையே ஆணவம் கொண்டு
மதியை இழந்தது மாலாகிய அப்பன்றி.

கிண்டியது நிலத்தைத் கொம்பினால்;
தண்டிக்க வந்தார் நம் சிவபெருமான்.

ஒரு கோட்டை ஈசன் உடைத்ததுமே
மருள் நீங்கித் தூய உணர்வு பெற்றது.

பிடுங்கிய பன்றியின் கோட்டை ஈசன்
பிறைபோல் அணிந்தான் தன் மார்பில்.”
