The Dark Side of Mahatma Gandhi

Another side of Gandhi

See the recent edition of Outlook which carries a cover story of Gandhi's relationship with Saraladevi, niece of Tagore. This is perhaps one of the last (& best ?) kept secrets in the Gandhi closet which his great grandson Rajmohan seeks to unveil in his forthcoming book - Mohandas. The 'affair' (not sure whether the relationship was physical but for lack of another word) lasted for few years & ended around 1920 after CR wrote a 'stinker' to Gandhi asking him to end the relationship. Though this is a matter of personal choice & doesn't deserve to be criticised, this only underlines the fact that he was a mortal too & hence could be criticised for the right reasons.

Sir-This is a dravida conspiracy of dmk chief mk and his mentor periyar. How can you say such things about the father of the nation? gandhi was the greatest and in fact, sir, we must blame the woman for doing this to gandhi. :whoo:Come to think of it, Sir, this is done by dmk to divert attention from VAT. Come to think of it again, Sir, this is done by periyar's ghost to confuse and confound hindus in tamil nadu.

Anyway, here's part 2, and you'll see more dravidian conspiracies to defame the mahatma.http://www.newstodaynet.com/2006sud/06dec/2712ss1.htm
