It is the characteristic of wisdom

The brightest stars are those which shine in the darkest sky.
So the one who dispels darkness, misery, sorrow, suffering etc
is the brightest star among the human beings!

Manners are of more importance than laws. Manners are what vex or soothe, corrupt or purify, exalt or debase, barbarize or refine us, by a constant, steady, uniform, insensible operation, like that of the air we breathe in.”

Edmund Burke

Politeness is the first virtue, and the origin perhaps of all the others. Politeness is a discipline that compels respectful behavior. Morality is like a politeness of the soul, an etiquette of the inner life, a code of duties, a ceremonial of the essential.”

André Comte-Sponville - French philosopher

Politeness forms the foundation of all the other virtues. We have witnessed the

disappearance of many intelligent people from here - since they lacked politeness.

A man and a woman cannot live together without having against each other a kind of everlasting joke. Each has discovered that the other is a fool, but a great fool. This largeness, this grossness and gorgeousness of folly is the thing which we all find about those with whom we are in intimate contact; and it is the one enduring basis of affection, and even of respect.”

G. K. Chesterton

Intimacy reveals the hidden idiosyncrasy.

No man is a hero either to his valet or his wife!

As long as people are able to laugh at each other's folly without coming to blows

they can continue to live together peacefully as friends or partners or couples.

True! Every genius is considered

INSANE until he succeeds

and sometimes even after that!

But that word will be replaced

by Queer or eccentric.

Madness has so much in common with love and genius.

Woman

As for the woman, though we scorn and flout them,
we may live with but cannot live without them.
John Dryden

She is all wavering and hesitations;
in short she is a woman.
Jean Racine

[h=1]Procrastination
[/h] From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Procrastination#mw-headhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Procrastination#p-search

In psychology, procrastination refers to the act of replacing high-priority actions with tasks of lower priority, or doing something from which one derives enjoyment, and thus putting off important tasks to a later time.

In accordance with Freud, the
Pleasure principle may be responsible for procrastination; humans do not prefer negative emotions, and handing off a stressful task until a further date is enjoyable.

The concept that humans work best under pressure provides additional enjoyment and motivation to postponing a task.
[SUP]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Procrastination#cite_note-1[/SUP] Some psychologists cite such behavior as a mechanism for coping with the anxiety associated with starting or completing any task or decision.[SUP]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Procrastination#cite_note-2[/SUP]

Other psychologists indicate that anxiety is just as likely to get people to start working early as late and the focus should be
impulsiveness. That is, anxiety will cause people to delay only if they are impulsive.[SUP]

Schraw, Wadkins, and Olafson have proposed three criteria for a behavior to be classified as procrastination: it must be counterproductive, needless, and delaying.[SUP]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Procrastination#cite_note-4[/SUP] Similarly, Steel (2007) reviews all previous attempts to define procrastination, indicating it is "to voluntarily delay an intended course of action despite expecting to be worse off for the delay."[SUP]

[/SUP]

Procrastination may result in stress, a sense of guilt and crisis, severe loss of personal productivity, as well as social disapproval for not meeting responsibilities or commitments. These feelings combined may promote further procrastination.

While it is regarded as
normal for people to procrastinate to some degree, it becomes a problem when it impedes normal functioning. Chronic procrastination may be a sign of an underlying psychological disorder. Such procrastinators may have difficulty seeking support due to social stigma and the belief that task-aversion is caused by laziness, low willpower or low ambition.[SUP]

The story of the ant and the grasshopper is the best example for procrastination.

Woman

What is better than wisdom? Womman.
And what is better than a good womman?
No-thing.
Geoffrey Chaucer

I know that a woman is a dish for the Gods,
If the devil dress her not.
William Shakespeare

Selflessness - A person's view on Selflessness.

"I was walking down the street amidst the hustle and bustle of the busy city, when
I saw a woman take a spare blanket out of her car, and wrap it around a homeless
man's shoulders to keep him warm from the chill of winter. That is selflessness"
