அகழ்வாரைத் தாங்கும் நில மடந்தையிடம்,
இகழ்வாரைத் தாங்கும் பொறுமை கற்போம்;
அனைத்தையும் புனிதமாக்கிய பின் தெளிந்து,
இனிக்கும் நீர் போல மாறிவிடக் கற்போம்.
பொருட்கள் அனைத்திலும் மறைந்து நிற்கும்,
நெருப்பைப் போன்றது ஆத்மா என்று அறிவோம்;
மாற்றம் அடையாமல் மணங்களைப் பரப்பும்,
காற்றிடம் கற்போம் பற்று அறுக்கும் தன்மையை.
நிர்மலமாக எங்கும் என்றும் நிறைந்திருக்கும்
மர்மம் என்ன என்று ஆகாசத்திடம் கற்போம்;
ஆழம் காண முடியாத கம்பீரத்தை அங்கு
ஆழ்ந்து விளங்கும் கடலிடம் கற்போம்.
நூறு குடங்களில் வேறு வேறாகத் தெரியும்
சூரியன் போன்றதே ஆத்மா, அறிந்திடுவோம்;
வளர்ந்து தேயும் சந்திர கலைகள் போன்றே
வளர்ந்து தேயும் மனித சரீரமும், அறிவோம்.
தன் உடலில் இருந்தே உற்பத்தி செய்து,
தன் உடலுள் வலையை மீண்டும் மறைக்கும்
சிலந்தியிடம் காண்போம் நம் இறைவனின்
சிருஷ்டி, பிரளய ரகசியங்களை எல்லாம்!
நினைக்கும் பொருளாக நாம் மாறுவதை,
தினமும் காணும் குளவியிடம் கற்போம்;
தினவு எடுத்து திரியாமல், கிடைத்தைத்
தின்பதை மலைப் பாம்பிடம் கற்போம்.
மலருக்கு மலர் தாவிச் சென்று பல
மலர்களின் தேனைச் சேர்த்து வைத்து,
தேனாலேயே அழியும் தேனீ கற்பிப்பது
தேவைக்கு மீறின செல்வத்தின் ஆபத்து.
கண்களால் நன்கு காணும் திறனையும்,
காதுகளால் நன்கு கேட்கும் திறனையும்
அழகாய் வளர்த்தால், நமக்கு இறைவனும்
அழகிய இயற்கையும் குருவாகவே ஆகும்!
வாழ்க வளமுடன்,
விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.

இறைவன் காண்பதற்கு மிக அரியவன்,
இறைவன் அடைவதற்கும் மிக அரியவன்;
இறையருள் இன்றி எந்த முயற்சிகளும்,
இயலாது செய்வதற்கு, எந்த மனிதனாலும்!
விக்கித்து நின்று, இப்படிக் கூறும் நாம்,
முக்திக்கு முயற்சி செய்வதும் இல்லை.
இறைவன் மிகவும் அரியவன் ஆயினும்,
அடைவது இயலும், நாம் முயன்றால்!
உணவு, உடைகள், உறையுள் என்பவை,
உலகில் மனிதரின் தேவைகள் என்பார்.
இது பற்றிச் சற்றுச் சிந்தித்தால் புரியும்,
எது உயிர் வாழ மிகவும் தேவை என்பது!
உணவே இல்லாமலும் கூட ஒரு மனிதன்,
உணர்வுடன் இருப்பான் நீண்ட நாட்கள்.
உழைத்திடும் உடைகளும் உறுதியாகவே,
கிழிந்து, நைந்து கீழே விழும் வரையில்.
உறையுள் என்பது வெறும் பகல் கனவே,
தெருவில் உறங்கும் பல மனிதருக்கே.
இவை அன்றித் தேவை ஓர் உயிர் வாழ,
சுவை மிகு நீரும், சுத்தமான காற்றுமே!
நீர் நம் உடலுக்கு அவசியம் ஆயினும்,
நீர் அருந்தாமல் வாழ இயலும் பல நாள்;
காற்றுத்தான் மனிதனின் பிராண சக்தி;
காற்று இன்றி எத்தனை நேரம் வாழஇயலும்?
மூழ்கிய நீரில் மனிதன் ஒருவன், தன்
மூச்சு காற்றுக்குத் தவிப்பது போலவே,
பக்தியுடன் பரமனை எண்ணிப் பரிதவித்தால்,
முக்தி அளிப்பான் நமக்கு அவன் நிச்சயம்!
வாழ்க வளமுடன்,
