Can you explain your position better?
Who's side you are on?
Kerala? Tamil Nadu?
Last time I looked at the map of India both Kerala and Tamil Nadu are Indian states. Where is the question of patriotism in this?

You are mixing up the issues. The original query is about a nuclear plant at kudangulam and you are talking about the existing dam at Kerala/Tamil Nadu border. Both are completely different issues.

That point was not brought out in the original post. Sorry for the confusion.
If it is the nuclear plant, what has patriotism to do with it? People on both side of the issue can drape themselves in Tri-color. Where is nationalism in this. If someone oppose a project entirely internal to India, and does not have ulterior motives, then it may not be anti-nationalism.

German held for funding anti-Kudankulam protest - Times Of India

When nuclear vendors, who oppose the new liability law, are unwilling to stake their financial health on the claims of ‘100 per cent reactor safety,' why should local residents be asked to risk their lives?

As the local people determinedly continue to resist the commissioning of the Kudankulam reactors, the statements of the nuclear establishment have acquired a desperate edge. The chief of the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) claimed that a “foreign hand” was behind the protests.
