Do you know any Traditional Brahmin food at Madurai

I am a Telugu Brahmin from Hyderabad, and am planning to come on pilgrimage to Madurai in coming April.

Since I have Mantra deeksha, I should not be eating at any hotel etc. So, please guide me if there are any places where Brahmins can eat with madi acharam etc.

In tamilnadu Brahmins also eating outside ayyangars hotel... Madi aacharam not possible... Better to bring ur own rice cooker elec. Etc.... am also tried for that here in madhurai... Even traditional way of living accommodation also typical here in madhurai..

You may contact some caterer who specializes in this type of food. When i was a kid, my parents went to Kashi and Gaya, and both places we ate at brahmin priest's house and the lady prepared food for us.

There is a Gopu Iyengar tiffen centre listed at Address: W4C8+4X9, N Chitrai St, Madurai Main, Madurai, Tamil Nadu 625001.

Exactly tamil Brahmins are ready to eat out side in iyer or iyengars hotels... So I tried in priests house for preparation of food.... But they are not....
