வகுப்பு வாத்தியார் ஒரு விந்தை புரிவார்.

வாய் வழியாகப் புகையை இழுத்து விட்டு

மூக்கு வழியாக விடுவது சர்வ சாதாரணம்.

இவர் வாய் வழியாக உள்ளே சென்ற புகையைக்

காதுகள் வழியாக வெளி விடுவார். :ear:

எல்லோருக்கும் அது அதிசயமாக இருக்கும்! :shocked:

ஆனால் எல்லோருக்கும் ஒரே சமயத்தில்

இதைச் செய்து காட்ட மாட்டார் அவர்.

யாரவது ஒருவரைத் தன் மேஜை அருகில்

வரவழைத்து இந்த விந்தையைச் செய்வார்.

"ஆ!" என்று அவர்கள் பார்க்கும்போது மெதுவாக

சிகரட்டால் அவர்கள் கையைச் சுட்டு விடுவார். :flame:

பெண்களுக்கு மாதாந்திரப் பிரச்சனை இருப்பது போலவே

எனக்கு வருடாந்திரப் பிரச்சனை ஒன்று உண்டு. :whoo:

அது மாதங்களில் சிறந்த மார்கழியில் நிகழும்!

எத்தனையோ ஆண்டுகளாகத் திருப்பாவை திரும்வெம்பாவை

கோவில்களில் பாடி வந்த எனக்கு :sing:

அவற்றைத் தவறாமல் பாட வேண்டும்.

வேறு சில மாமிகள் கோவிலுக்கு வருவதே வம்பு வளர்பதற்காக.

அந்த chat மாமிகளுக்கும் இந்தப் பாட்டு மாமிக்கும்

( இந்த காலனியில் அது தான் என் பெயர்

கல்லூரி நாட்கள் ஒன்றில் ஏதோ கோபம் வந்து விட்டது.

'பும்' என்று முகத்தை வைத்துக் கொண்டு

"என்ன ஆயிற்று உனக்கு என்று?"

எப்போதும் அத்தனை பற்களையும் கட்டிக் கொண்டு,

அப்படிப் பார்த்தது அவருக்கே தாங்கவில்லையாம்.

"எனக்கே தெரியவில்லை மிஸ்!" என்றேன்.

அன்று அவர் ஒரு நல்ல அறிவுரை கூறினார்.

அது இன்று வரையிலும் பயன் தருகிறது.

"மூட் சரியாக இல்லாவிட்டால் அன்று ஒரு

புதிய ஆடை அல்லது நல்ல ஆடை அணிந்து கொள்!

சிறிது நேரத்தில் உன் மூட் தானாகவே சரியாகிவிடும்!"

உண்மையிலேயே நியூ டிரஸ் ஒரு மூட் லிஃப்ட்டர் தான்!

On the one hand a handful of ladies lead by a 'chat mami' disturb me while singing soulfully in the temple. :blabla:

On the other hand the organisers announce my name in the mike as "Paattu mami" and invite me to come forward and give them a nice song during the new year celebration! :director:

I usually avoid this since I can't stand the 120 decibel sound prevailing there and the sound of drums and other percussion instruments which seem to send shock waves through me body! :drum:

தலைக்கு ஹேர்டை போடும் போது

நன்றாகப் பிடிக்க வேண்டும் என்று

ஒரு விபரீத வேலை செய்வார்.

இரவில் தூங்கும் முன்பு டை போட்டுக் கொண்டு

தலைக்கு shower cap போட்டுக் கொண்டு

இரவு முழுவதும் தூங்குவார்.

"அதில் குறிப்பிட்ட நேரத்துக்கு மேல் போடாதே!"

என்றால் "எல்லாம் எனக்குத் தெரியும்!" இது பதில்.

முடி எல்லாம் உதிர்ந்து போய் scalp தெரிந்தது.

இப்போது நம்ம ஊர் வாத்தியார் மாதிரி ஆகி இருப்பாரோ?

Please do not waste any Prasadam and do not throw Vibhuthi and Kumkum anywhere

Dress conservatively - Grownups are advised not to wear Shorts, Bermudas or Lungis
Do not eat inside the Temple premises
Do not Prostrate or perform Namaskarams to elders inside the Temple
Do not throw waste paper inside the Temple premises
Do not apply waste oils or rub oil hands on the pillars or on walls of the temple
Do not allow children to play inside the Temple when the Pooja is going on
and so on.

If these are followed inside the temple, we can maintain the discipline
of the Temple.

There was an angry young man I knew.

He was at least ten years older to me.

He was always angry and irritating every one.

Never was his mind at peace or calm .

Later I found that he had many commitments in life.

His widowed mother had to be taken care of.

His four unwed sisters had to married off!

He had no chance of getting married till all these were over.

He was suffocating and wished to become free of all bonds.

But he had a little spark of conscience left in him.

Thanks to his good natured father!

He could neither desert his family nor sacrifice his happiness.

So he was always angry at everyone he came across - who had

not contributed in any way to his personal problems.

வளர்ந்த குழந்தைகள் வீட்டை விட்டுப் போய்விடுவார்கள்.

இது நம் வாழ்வில் தவிர்க்க முடியாத ஒன்று தான்!

ஆங்கிலத்தில் Empty Nest Syndrome என்பார்கள். :sad:

ஒரு அற்புதமான பெண்மணி ஒரு வேலை செய்தாராம்.

குழந்தை பிறந்தது முதல் அதற்கு உடை தைக்கும் துணியில்

ஒரு சிறிய சதுரம் வெட்டி வைத்துக் கொள்ளுவாராம்.

திருமண வயது வருவதற்குள்ளாக இது போன்ற

நிறைய சதுரங்கள் அவரிடம் சேர்ந்துவிடும். :bump2:

அவற்றை வைத்து ஒரு அழகிய quilt தைத்துவிடுவார்.

அதைப் பார்க்கும் போதெல்லாம் அந்தக் குழந்தை :baby:

அதை அணிந்து செய்த சேட்டைகள்

அவர் நினைவுக்கு வருமாம்.

அவர்களுடன் இருப்பது போலவே தோன்றுமாம். :hug:
