Life is like that

We see quite often people in Chennai coming with panchakacham
chanting some sloka having some paper in their hands. Initially,
they will chant all blessing mantras and start appreciating. But
it is dangerous to entertain them. We have got a bitter experience
not only giving money to them, we have made them to eat a nice
food once. But having this as a prelude, they start coming frequently
and put up their requests quite often. This must be discouraged
once for all, whether we are alone or with some one at home.
The issues normally put up by them are not genuine.

Life is like that

In order to wash away the past misdeeds, we visit temples on the seashore
and do lot of rituals to get a relief at once. Sometimes, I feel all this is
nothing but a dream within a dream. It is because we cannot get out of that
overnight. For example, when we stand on the shores of the ocean, we are
asked to hold the grains of sand or water in our palm and chant mantras.
Neither we can keep the sand intact or the water getting down through the
unclosed fingers and virtually we see running out of our hand. We only wonder
that we cannot have even one grain from the surf. In my college days, I
had experience of writing typical essays like A Midsummer's Nights Dreams and
topics like how does Shakespeare use contrasting tones and characters in his
play. Sometimes some people feel and dream of becoming a fashion model
or becoming a rich man, philanthropist and the life getting into a fast line.
Is all that possible? No doubt karma may have its implications in us but we
have our own duty of dedication and sincerity to do our duty/job to come up
in life with hard efforts without going into short cuts as we see above to lead
our life.

kitchen sink choke remover ஆக உபயோகப்படுமா என்பது.

அடுத்த நாள் தெரிந்தது அவர்கள் ஒரே நாளில்

ஊர் முழுவதையும் ஏமாற்றியது இதே போல.

எத்தனை large scale hoax + swindling ! :shocked:

All India level இல் நடந்ததா தெரியவில்லை.

ஒரு நாள் இரவு தங்க வேண்டியிருந்தது நர்சிங் ஹோமில்.

Butcher's shop போலக் காட்சி அளித்தது அந்த இடம். :fear:

டாக்டர்கள் எல்லோரும் ரத்தம் சிந்திக் காய்ந்த ஏப்ரன்களில்!

பஞ்சும், மருந்துக் கழிவும் , இரும்பின் துருவாடையும்

தலையைச் சுற்றி மயக்கம் வருவது போலிருந்தது. :dizzy:

இது போததுன்று இன்னொரு காட்சியும் கண்டேன்!

ஒருவருக்கு ஊசி போட்டு விட்டு அதைக் குழாய் நீரில்

கழுவிவிட்டு இன்னொருவருக்கும் ஊசி போடுவதை. :shocked:

Sterilisation என்று கேள்விப்பட்டிருப்பார்களா இல்லையா?

C. M. O விடம் சொன்னால் அவர் சொல்கிறார் என்னிடம்,

"வேண்டுமென்றால் நீங்கள் மேலே complain பண்ணுங்கள்!

எதுவும் நடக்காது நீங்கள் நினைக்கின்றபடி." சிரிப்பு வேறே!

இது போன்ற இடங்களுக்குப் போகின்றவர்களுக்கு என்ன தான் வராது

சின்னவன் மிகவும் சின்னவனாக இருக்கும் போது

நல்ல உயரம், ஒல்லி ஆனால் கன்னம் மட்டும் பூரி போல!

மிகவும் அழகாக இருப்பான். அப்போது தான் அங்கே

the first baby ஷோ ஆர்கனைஸ் செய்தார்கள்.

சொல்லிக் கொண்டே இருந்தார்கள் என்னிடம்,

"உங்கள் மகனை பார்த்த பிறகு தான் எங்களுக்கு

இந்த பேபி ஷோ பற்றிய எண்ணமே வந்தது.

கண்டிப்பாகக் கலந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்" என்று!

ஆனால் அது நடக்கவில்லை அவர்கள் விரும்பியபடி.

அப்போது நாங்கள் தெற்கே வந்து விட்டோம் லீவுக்கு.

பிறகு ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் அதுவே தொடர்ந்ததால்

அந்த போட்டியில் கலந்து கொள்ளவே முடியவில்லை.

அப்போது வயதும் சற்றுக் குறைவு,

உடம்பும் சற்று ஒல்லி, energy அதிகம்.

Conquest of East Coast போல நாங்கள்

மூன்று வாரங்கள் காரிலேயே லாங் டூர்.

உண்பது எப்போதும் எங்காவது வெளியில்

உறங்குவதும், குளிப்பதும் நண்பர்கள் வீட்டில்.

ஒரு வாரம் ஆகிவிட்டது. அன்று வாஷிங் டே.

ஏழு செட் உடைகளை மிஷீனில் போட்டால்

drier திரும்பக் கொடுத்தது ஒரு பெரிய கலர்புல் பால்!

அத்தனை சாரிகளும் பின்னிப் பிணைந்து ஒன்றாகி

ஒரே கலர்ஃபுல் பந்தாக மாறி விட்டன.

அன்று முழுவதும் எனக்கு துச்சாதனன் வேலை!

ஒவ்வொரு புடவையாக உருவி எடுத்து மடித்து

வைப்பதற்குள் கைகள் சோர்ந்து போயின.

அதன் பின் ஒவ்வொரு சாரியையும் மடித்து

நடுவில் ஒரு ரிப்பன் வைத்துக் கட்டிவிடுவேன்.

கொத்துக் கொத்தாக இருக்கும் ஆனால்

பந்துபோல உருவம் மறாது. கை வலிக்காது.

பிறகு சின்ன சின்ன நெட் ஜிப் bag கிடைத்தது.

அதற்குப் பிறகு வாஷிங் was NOT a night mare .

kind today, may be still sometime later to someone; or the problem of some other
kind tomorrow. There are some people who will bring back their old memories at
times in life. Life is better than a University. One thing, I realised from now on is
that it does not matter even if washed by hand to save the time and labour and
does not dream of washing machine just for washing alone.

Sir!

It shows how little you know about the life in America.

I am not averse to washing clothes by hand. I had been doing for nearly 50 years of my life. But the million dollar question is

Where and how will I get the washed clothes dried???

We don't have drying space inside the house nor in the bathroom. We are not supposed the dry the clothes outside the way we do in India - even in the most posh flats - spoiling the beauty of the neighbourhood.

The cycle in the machine goes on for half an hour or more. Multiply that by the r. p. m. and you will understand why the
7 sarees each of 6 yards length each got tangled inseparably.

I must have switched on to the local dress
(jeans / skirt /Bermuda / shorts + T shirt/ jeans top)
- for the convenience in washing them.

But I was stuck to my sarees. I found out a way to get them washed

Every problem has a solution -if only we sit and think.

But now I have a problem which seems to an unending story!

I guess you will know about it better than any one else...
as the Creator and Sustainer of it!

Though I had not visited States, I have a fair amount of knowledge.
I know it is not similar to India. May be some people wash clothes outside
and put them in the drier. Perhaps I presumed that is feasible. I have said
in my thread that I am quoting it only as a humor and not in seriousness.

அதையும் மரியாதையாக உண்ணாமல்

ஆகாசத்தில் வீசி வாயால் பிடிக்க முயன்று

அவைகளும் தரையில் விழுந்தன. :doh:

இறுதில் ஒரு வாய் தண்ணீருடன்

அத்தனை tablet களையும் விழுங்கினார்.

ஒன்றுடன் ஒன்ற ரியாக்ட் செய்தால்...?? :scared:

God Loves us and that is why he has given us birth as a Human being. He who shows
the path to us too in our life. Whoever has an iota of belief does not perish but
gets an eternal life. We alone have thus the responsibility of moulding and shaping our
life in the right direction. Life gets all kinds of interesting experiences, which are stored
for us by the super power, but we have to make a humble effort to stretch ourselves to
reach that. To err is human. If an error takes place in life, knowingly or unknowingly,
one cannot go back and start a new beginning, but anyone in that stage, can certainly
start afresh, from the time of realization, and make a new beginning to lead a happy and
peaceful life.

We were blessed to have Mother in India. At the instance of Great
Aurobindo She visited India from France and stayed over here to
enlighten us without any distinction amongst the sufferers. Mother,
it is She who advised all Indians to concentrate and dedicate on the
immeasurable spiritual wealth of Hindus(than)/Bharat. In fact, to be
very precise, till her last breath, Mother made everyone to understand
values of love and affection towards suffering non-suffering humans.
A Candle of light which was glowing giving enthusiastic feeling to one
and all, still glows in Pondycherry. Pranams to Mother

மண்புழுவும் ஒட்டுண்ணியும் ஒருபோல
மற்றவற்றைச் சார்ந்து வாழ்ந்தாலும்,
நன்மைகள் பல செய்யும் மண் புழுக்கள்;
நாசம் செய்துவிடும் ஒட்டுண்ணிகள்.

மண்ணை உண்டு வெளியேற்றி அதன்
மாண்பைப் பெருக்கும் மண்புழுக்கள்.
உள்ளே காற்றுப் புக வழிகள் செய்து,
உழவனின் நண்பன் எனப் பெயர் பெறும்!

ஒட்டுண்ணிகள் ஒட்டிப் பிழைப்பவை;
ஒட்டிக்கொண்ட இடத்தையே நன்றாக
உறிஞ்சி உறிஞ்சி அவ்விடத்தில் உள்ள
உயிர்ச் சத்தையே அழித்து விடுபவை.

மனிதரிலும் உண்டு இவ்விரு வகை,
மனத்தையே தாக்கும் இவ்வுண்மை!
சேர்ந்த இடத்தை சிறப்புறச் செய்பவர்,

A PARASITE AND AN EARTHWORM.

A parasite and an earthworm both depend on others for their food requirements.But they can’t be more different.

The earthworm consumes the soil and makes air passages in it. It loosens the soil and helps the air to circulate better. It has earned the nick name as ‘The Farmer’s Friend’.

A parasite on the other hand absorbs nutrition from the host by sucking its life energy. It will cherish itself well even if the host perishes.

It is a shocking fact that even among the human beings we have these two types of persons. There are a few who like the earthworm enrich the place they live in and help their hosts.

The other type will thrive even as they destroy their hosts.

If you are taking in any one please ponder as to whether the person is an ‘earthworm’ or a ‘parasite’. Once they move in you can not get rid of them.

Think well “Is the person a friendly earthworm or a destructive parasite?”
