Hello to everybody!

I am amongst you from today onwards. I have been in Madipakkam for the past 15 years and I am proud to be a member in this forum/Assn. I am interested in Karnatic music and my hobby is hearing good music.

Pranams to all good hearts. I am a Graduate Enginner, born and brought up at Neyveli, studied schooling at Neyveli and collegiated from Annamalai university.

Our ancestral origin is Palakkad. Now we have settled in Chennai since 2000 May. Did my MBA from IGNOU but yet to complete the Project paper because of trips to Abroad on duty. Done a one year advanced software Engineering course of IBM.

In employment with a non IT MNC Enginnering Consultancy since 2001. At present am well placed as a Sr. Project Engineer with a good compensation. Life is a game and I would like to play the same purposefully with challenge. Ours is a traditional family with a modern outlook and devoted to service to the society being Sai Devotees.

On the lookout for a good life partner soon.

God Bless us all to lead a purposeful and useful life.

I WAS BORN & BROUGHT UP AT BHOOTHAPANDY, A VILLAGE IN KANYAKUMARI DISTRICT, ERSTWHILE TRAVANCORE COCHIN STATE. I GRADUATED IN CHEMISTRY& 7 TEACHERS TRAINING (B.Sc;B.Ed) & WORKED IN STATE BANK OF INDIA IN VARIOUS CAPACITIES. RETIRED IN 1995. MY CHILDREN ARE MARRIED & WELL SETTLED IN LFE. MY ELDEST DAUGHTER & SON WITH THEIR FAMILIES ARE CITIZENS OF CANADA. MY LAST DAUGHTER IS IN CHENNAI WITH HER FAMILY.

I am delighted to join this Forum. I am 65 years of age. I am sad that "matrimony" has been made into a commercial venture by a few persons. I appeal to all brahmins to ensure that Dowryless marriages are conducted in simple manner. The present trend of "Too much of expectations" in matrimonial alliance seeking is bound have a negative impact on the community .

Will somebody guide me how to do it?
I also had the opportunity to attend the swayamwaram held at Sanskrit college, chennai on 22.11.2009.
I would like to start a conversation with Mr. Swaminatha Sarma!!
