Sowbagyavathy Raji Ram,

Greetings. In my opinion, inspirations are required to the downtrodden persons. I consider this song ( YouTube - Christina Aguilera - Beautiful ) very inspirational since it addresses the persons living with a stigma. One has to only read the comments posted for this song.... This song had inspired 1000s of people.

I did not have a pleasant childhood. ஊருக்கு இளைத்தவன் பிள்ளையார் கோவில் ஆண்டி; அடியேன் ஊருக்கு மட்டும் இல்லை, வீட்டுக்கும் இளைத்தவன். I have been bullied all my childhood, physically and psychologically. My wife grew up in the same village, same street; even now she could not believe, I could be cheerful and jovial after all the bullying I went through. It takes a lot of courage to commit suicide. Sometimes people give up the attempt at the last possible minute; few times over.

Only when I was 18 yrs old, I realised, there was nothing wrong with me, but there was something wrong with the persons bullying me. That time I was employed, earning Rs.75 per month (no typo). But my confidence level.... it was so high, it would have put 'Deewar' Amitabh to shame (Not my words; that was the comment by my friend's wife). Because, i believed in myself.

This song is about believing in oneself. "No matter what they say......words can't bring me down!" That's why this is an inspirational song.

Cheers!

Dear Raghy Sir!

Sorry to note about your unpleasant childhood! We (five siblings... we call ourselves pancha paandavaas!) enjoyed our childhood to a great extent, since our father was 'next to God' for our villagers..... Yes, he was a doctor by profession. We were treated like uncrowned prince and princesses!!

We should thank our good fortune, for getting such a life!

Somehow, the dress code affects me much more than it should.... Our upbringing!! Don't wish to view any half dressed figure, even if it is the beautiful Aishwarya!!

Regards,
Raji Ram

Rajiiiiiiiiiii,

You must be much younger than my mum but you sound like her OMG!!
U know she hates half clad females and poor thing she got me for a daughter who can have her head covered in a Duppata one moment and wear something total opposite the next day...heheheheehehe

U know once we were at a holiday resort and some girls were there with some guys and my mum looked at them and said 'these girls dont seem to have good character blah blah blah" and I told her "why do you only see bad in people? they havent harmed you in anyway.."Look carefully you will see God also in them"
You know thats a "fault" with those who are Sattva in Guna..they are all goodness but still see pairs of opposite..

Mum was pissed!!! hehehehehe so I sang her this song..

Dear Raghy,

I have decided to use the word " Childhood Experiences" instead of" Unpleasent Childhood "cos what seemed Unpleasent then...brought out the best in you and nothing can bring you down.

I read once..Nothing is really good or bad.. its all just experiences..Its just how we view it.

What seemed difficult at the begining was just actually Good fortune turned inside out..see ..we have you now who views life happily and positively.

love
renu

Sowbagyavathy Renuka,

Namaskarams to you. I consider you equal to my வளர்த்த அன்னை. I would love to have you as my mum in a future incarnation if I have one which I neither wish one for me nor for you.

I wish to talk about Subramani. Subramani is Ponnusamy's younger brother. Ponnusamy was the farm hand for my grandmother. This was Subramani's favourite song. ( Those days, my favourite actor was Sivaji).

YouTube - Naan Anai Ittal Song ( MGR Hits By TMS )

I asked him why he liked that song... He said "சாமி, உனக்கு புரியாது." But I love him. So, I am posting this song.

Cheers!

Dear Renu!

I feel happy and cheerful to be myself!! I do not wish to see half clad chiks.... thats it! They don't harm me.... I too don't harm them by not seeing them, right. You may say, I sound like a super senior oldie... But I don't mind it too! :thumb:

Dear Renu,

Thanks for introducing Prince Rama varma! I hear him for the first time... Enjoyed the song sent by you and also the one he sang with his guru Sri Balamurali Krishna, (viz) Raminchuvaarevaruraa... The swara portion is too good... real BM touch!

Raji Ram

Thinking of Sri. B M.... I remember what he said in one of his interviews. The Q was, 'Sir! What do you like most in the movies?'
Without hesitation, he said 'Fight scenes!!' Reason given is that he watches what he can NOT do!!

Seeing Renu's observation on a few super senior oldies..... same LOGIC??????? :suspicious:

When one doesn't give up and hang in there, "கொடுக்கிற தெய்வம் கூரைய பிச்சிக்கிட்டு கொடுக்கும்!" Only we have to hang in there! I have seen it practically....(not the koorai bit; it is insured anyway!). This is thesong to prove it.....

Many people comment about Sri. ILayarAjA's voice but this song, I think is enchanting in his voice!

The quality of video may not be the best!

I just close my eyes and listen to this song. It takes me far away from this world!!

Hats off to ILayarAjA... :thumb: . . :hail:
