Renuka - you are right !. In the ancient past, the disciples of the Gurus followed the tradition & expanded on their theories ! Pl note Jesus (Krishna) was a great teacher/Saint / son of God. So Ramanujam had to be one of his direct disciples or disciple of a disciple..

My view is Ramanujam himself is Saint Thomas !!.

Jesus/Krishna was a great son of God. Okay. God and Son are clear now. What about the ghost? St. Thomas was the sole ghost in the equation? if so Which Gopi does he represent from among the hundreds of Gopis whose dress was stolen by krishna and were made to come naked and beg for their dress? When a ghost becomes naked what does it mean? Answers please-Renukaji and Jaykayji.

dear Vaagmi ji,

Nakedness means No Body Consciousness...just like how Sage Suka could walk around uncovered and yet no one felt he was uncovered.

He simply existed.

Likewise when we surrender to God..Body consciousness has to go.

Hence the true meaning of surrender is fully understood. It should not be confused with sexuality in anyway..for that one has to even go beyond a Sattva mind for a Sattva mind would still hold on to moral values and see a naked body thru "sense and sensuality"

That is why we are asked to transcend the Tri-Gunas to realize that the body is just a conglomerate of flesh and bones.

Now coming to Ghosts..whether Holy Ghost or Unholy Ghost.

Even the Ghost has a body..called the Subtle Body(Linga Sharira).

Even a Ghost has body consciousness...so he/she has to learn to be less body conscious and shed his/her Linga Sharira eventually.
