are christian conversions a real thing?

Vinayak's issue seems to be different. Apparently he is being coerced to conversion. His vulnerability seems to be exploited. I advise vinayak to report this matter to police.
Coerced or enticed? Depends on what Vinayskji received in exchange. If someone gives the president of the USA $1B, even the president of the country gives them the key to the kingdom. You can always renounce the conversion as entrapment.

Vinayak, Your honesty is truly eye-opening. Your experiences serve as a much-needed wake-up call for the Tamil Nadu Hindu community, urging them to reflect and take meaningful action
He is not being truthful. It is a sob story. He did not get what he wanted, so he is crying,

hi

police and court case etc more difficult to individual...unneccessary legal issues and may political

interventions...if we can help him....or better we keep quiet...
Notice how he questioned my legitimacy, and the moment I shared proof, he shifted the goalposts to my qualifications' and claimed I don't deserve sympathy. It’s clear he’s not interested in the truth, only in pushing his own agenda.

It’s called evidence, not a sob story. I know you're struggling to tell the difference because the facts destroyed your narrative. The only person 'crying' here is you because your gaslighting didn't work. Cope harder

You call it 'enticement,' I call it bait. There is a difference between a fair transaction and a trap designed to exploit someone's vulnerability. Comparing it to a 'president taking a bribe' just proves you view people as commodities to be bought. Thanks for confirming the predatory nature of the agenda.

Exactly. Thank you for seeing the reality that my vulnerability was exploited while that other forum member tried to dismiss it as a 'sob story.' This is exactly how they operate in society: they undermine, degrade, and gaslight victims to protect their narrative.

Many of these self-proclaimed Christians are masters of this art. They are 'altruistic narcissists' people who use generosity solely as bait to capture prey. Once someone bites, they stop treating them like a human and start treating them like a commodity, subjecting them to psychological manipulation. And when a victim finally finds the courage to speak out, their minions rush in to say, 'You took the money, so you deserve the abuse.' Is this what Christianity is supposed to be about?
