Hindu Iyer girl married to a Christian boy

When a hindu girl( Gothra, star , rasi known) is married ied to a Christian boy (star, Rasi Known, no idea of Gothra)- at the time of archana at the temple can the girl specify her ( actually her parents) gothrm, star and rasi and her husband's star and rasi? I relise during a non undu wedding of this couple there was no ritual for transfer of Bide's gothram.

When you go to a temple to worship the God of cosmos such a God does not need you to announce anything. Go just as a devotee. Period.

This sankalpa with saying Gotra is invented for people to think they are special because of sponsorship of small amount.

It does not matter what you say. Be s true devotee
