I refer to your message in post #14. I agree with your message.

..Get a pot of water, and dip one of your fingers in the water and then remove it.. If there is a hole in the water after you remove your finger you are important.

After reading the quoted lines, I could not help but have to write this. Kindly consider the humour, please.

I took a pot of H2O and dipped my finger in that. It left a hole.. well, it didn't stay long, but stayed for sometime.. oh, by the way, water I took was frozen and powdered!

In a serious note, most members have their audience. When one member leaves, their audience would miss him/her. The period depends upon individual audience and departing member. So, every member is important for a forum. But like you rightly said, the meek inherit the earth.
