The brain is in fact made of two hemispheres, each with distinct specified functions, speaking to each other through the corpus callosum. So each hemisphere may need one?!

Those are the two HALVES of the same brain

and NOT TWO different brains!

But each kidney is unit complete in itself.

So that makes a lot of difference between them!
