Think or sink!

I was told to stay back home since my better half had prepared

a list of questions to be asked in the meeting.

He went late and could not follow the proceedings.

It was as if he could not hear or follow them and

they could spare the time to hear and understand him.

It is good enough that people do not come to blows in such meetings.

Previously that was a very strong possibility. :fear:

Offer to carry the calf and the calf along with the heavy cow will be

dumped on your shoulder/ head ...whichever is stronger.

I always make the prasadams for the Kruthigais and sashtis since several

years. Now I am expected to bring flowers, garlands and the other things

needed for the abhishekam every month! The others want to walk in empty

handed and take home the offerings for everyone in their family!

I suggested that each one can bring something possible for them so that one

person need not be taxed to much. Some may find it easy to bring milk,

others flowers or panchamirtam or curds etc.

The temple belongs to everyone ... not just me! Moreover we are not

supposed to go empty handed while visiting Gods, temples, elders and young

children. Right???

For all we know, we may be chasing the more ephemeral soap bubbles

while these happy children may be chasing the more tangible balloons!

ONCE I had asked how to jeer similar to how we cheer.

One learned man suggested that just as we cheer saying
as "Hip Hip Hurray!" we can jeer saying "Duck Duck Dumbo"!!! :cheer2:

[Figure out by yourself why the Duck appears in this cheer /jeer!!!]

My doubt about our chasing the more ephemeral SOAP bubbles is

redoubled by the Duck Duck Dumbo(s)

While the Duck Duck Dumbo charges ahead in full throttle -

undaunted and undeterred in his self commissioned mission,

the Cluck Cluck Chicken raises a lot of noise and dust

as her self commissioned urgent mission.

The proof... just keep your eyes and ears open

in any gathering of boisterous women (an oxymoron???) :)

Those two ladies attracted each other like a magnet and piece of iron!!!

They were of the same caste, sect, sub-sect, language, region, religion and state!!!

HOW many friends will I have IF i apply the same conditions here??? :noidea:

While the earth is shrinking so fast that :plane:

a cough in the east is heard in the West :ear:

and a flu in China spreads in USA the next day!

BUT the minds of men and women seem to be

shrinking even faster than the world does!!! :(

That sweet, young lady did not come back to collect

the copper bottomed vessels gifted by me to her! :(

May be she is visiting her native state

after performing the gruhapravesam.

May be she really thought that

I had brought those vessels for my

aNdaa-kuNdaa-niNda-prasaadam!!!

[ niNda = filled with]

Wishing to keep the medicines compact and neat,

more and more trays are being added to the boxes

so that now the medicine corner looks like a pharmacy! :dizzy:

I on the other hand have everything packed in a small sleek

bread box - tucked away but accessible in an instant! :)

I have neither Time nor Space nor Energy to waste!!!

We can watch the ocean, an elephant, a child at play, the fish in an aquarium etc

for any length of time - actually while losing the grip over the passage of time.

The same thing happened yesterday.

By the time we admired the grand kids playing with balloons,

the drinking water supply got over!!!

I guess many people were caught unawares just like us !

So water was supplied again for a mere 5 minutes

and I could store water for the next four days! :)

Other people decide my schedule and chores. :(

I wished to have an early shower and start the kitchen work.

Yet here I am :typing: away odd random thoughts.

The reason... My better half went to the market and :bolt:

I am supposed to wait here till my sons appear for the chatting sessions.

We think we have everything under control - but we do not!!! :pout:

The weather decides out outings / shopping and visits.

The heath condition (the vaataavaraN of the body)

-as varying as the weather conditions on daily basis-

decides our activities, attitudes and aptitudes!!!

Can any one suggest a name which is fragrant in itself and

is comparable to the other puraaNa and yet noothana name

Abhitha kujalaambaaL???

I have breaking my head over this issue for long.

Presto! I got the answer today in the temple.

It is the inimitable Sugandha KunthalaambaaL!!!

Cool isn't it??? :thumb:

AND yet it is my name which is considered to be old fashioned!!! :(

Names fascinate me always!

I met the look-alike younger sister of a lady.

The elder one's name is VANi

I thought the name of the younger one would be RANi or VENi.

To my surprise it was Veenaa!!!

VANi and ViNA are more likely to be the spellings!!!

Instant restrooms appear on the highway

for the sake of the construction workers.

UNTOLD WARNING : NO WATER SUPPLY!!!

Tejas is obsessed with the Restrooms and
he had to visit it - water or no water! :scared:

My son had to oblige since the Nature's call may be genuine after all.

They came back saying that "Everything was there except bad smell!!!"

Chemical treatment of the nasty excretions! :bolt:

Won't they recollect the everything they saw there at odd times?

WHAT happens if they remember it during a meal!!!

Hello, Madam VR! I am visiting your threads after a long time. Hope to have some enjoyable head-bumps here.

First off, is Sugandha Kunthalaambaal a person? If yes, why is she inimitable?
Second, your name is as modern as any names can be - just spell it as Visal Akshi !
Similarly, Kunthal Ambal ?

Hello Sir!:yo:
Namaste :pray2:

and thanks for giving me a pleasant surprise by your reply.

Long since I seem to have become an untouchable here. :)

Thread bumps have become head bumps now!!!

Sugantha Kundalaambal is as real as you and me.

She is not inimitable but her name certainly is.

Can you think of another name - besides the two I have already

mentioned - equally mystic and fascinating?

If you can please let everyone know about it!

As for making a name modern, you are the right person to give

suggestion. You had the entire forum believe that you were one of those

very religious people who pray five times a day. :hail:

These are the days of Duck Duck Dumbos and the Cluck Cluck Chicks!!!
