Think or sink!

I do not have to find WORK! The WORK zeroes on to me alright.
Guess my reaction when I found cockroaches inside the clothes cupboards.
I spent a sleepless night worrying about the possible damage done by them.
I spent one full day to emptying the contents, checking for damages /eggs /dropping :yuck:
It was not as bad as I had feared and it could have been much worse.
So everything is stored in sealed bags, pillow cases and covers.
Extra time to be spent on taking them out and storing them again. :(
Yes sir!!! I never go out of chores - planned and unplanned.
 
The gift of the instant madisar or the ready-to-wear-madisar sari
by my sister Mrs. Raji Ram was a great blessing and well timed. :)
I could match my husband wearing the mayil kaN pancha kachcham on Tarun's Birthday.
We took the photo of each other, since there was no one to click us together!

லாபம் வந்தாலும் லோபம் இருந்தால் என்ன கிடைக்கும்?

வெள்ளை + சிவப்புக் கல் கிரீடமும், ஹாரமும், சூலமும்,
கொள்ளை அடிக்கின்றன கண்களையும் மனத்தையும் கூட.

கருமாரியம்மனின் கிரீடம் இந்த கோவிலில் புதியது.
உருமாறி விட்டால் தேவி கருமாரி அம்மனாகவே!

கற்பூர ஹாரத்தியின் போது கண்ணீர் அருவி பெருகிவிட்டது!
சொற்ப நேரத்துக்கு விளக்குகளை அணைத்ததும் நல்லதாயிற்று!!

எந்தப் பெரிய கோவிலிலும் இந்த அனுபூதி கிடைப்பதில்லையே!
வந்தவர்கள் நம்மை லயித்து மெய்மறக்க அனுமதிப்பதில்லையோ?

மகன்களிடம் செல்ல வேண்டி இருக்கிறது!

குறும்பு உடலை ரிப்பேர் செய்து கொள்வதற்கு!!
 
ஆடிப் பெருக்கு எமக்கு வாடிய நாள் ஆகிவிட்டது. :(

சுர வேகத்தினால் எதுவும் சமைக்க முடிய வில்லை.

அதனால் என்ன? இன்று பெருகும் ஆடி பதினெட்டு :hungry:

Please learn to use 'timer' in your camera, to click you both together even if no one else is at home! :photo:

BTW, could you not ask the sAsthrigaL to take a snap ? :becky:

When I took the video showing how to wear the easy madisAr, I set my camera on the fridge and finished the movie part.

Of course, later on, I had to edit the first and last few seconds in which I walked away and towards the camera respectively! :cool:
 
It is better to get the pest control work done by say 'pest control india' or by a local firm. It is very effective, and these firm do one time or annual contract basis. Very effective for cockroach elimination.

Suggest to mobile companies to offer selfie with delay function. Some companies even give rewards. I once got a $100 dollar voucher. Now I don't need dollars.

2. Whether a video camera was used ?

3. whether it is possible to take such a long video on a digital camera?

Sir! I live in the ground floor of a building with 32 flats in four levels.

And there are three more similar buildings close to one another.

Cockroaches can't be eliminate unless each and every owner/ tenant

does it at the same time on a mass scale of extermination.

After all how long does it take a cockroach to run from

one door to another at a distance of 1foot!

I have got used to living with cockroaches and their horrid smell

but i would rather NOT have them infest my clothes and books.

Already selfie madness has infected the world - causing

the spread of lice (head lice and may be body lice also!) :yuck:

Now if the delayed function option and prolonged video-graphing were made available,

everything people do everyday may be video-graphed and exchanged!!! :nono:

As for the $$$ reward, you can always pass it to someone

(need not necessarily be me) who can put it to good use! :thumb:

When we have the good fortune of attending a pooja we are drawn to it like magnet. :hail:

My sweet Telugu neighbor who does paada pooja to me - as if I were a real goddess

has purchased a flat in the next building and today (or rather last night) was the Gruhapravesam.

She nvited me to come over when I found some free time.

I was climbing their stair case wehen their famous Satya Narayana pooja started.

I climbed to the tune/tone of "Shaantaakaaram Bhujaga sayanam..."

and stayed on till the puja was over and we did Aatma pradakshiNam and namaskaaram.

I was not even aware of the timing but Vishnu made me choose the right time to visit their flat.
 
The first thing the sweet young lady said when we met for the first time -

after I returned from visiting my sons and their families in 2012 was -

"Maakku chuttaalu ekkuva. Meere maa sabdam barinchavalanu!"

["Our circle of relatives is very big. You must kindly bear with the noise we might make"]

So someone had forewarned her about my allergy to noise pollution. :drum:

Now we are close enough to continue the paadaa pooja kaaryakramam and

yet far away from the noise pollution and the occasional mini-zoo effect.

since it hardly feels to be sitting on my nose!

"chaa paa moo ...NO may see!" has become

"chaa paa moo NOW may see! " :thumb:

chaa = chappai

maa = mookku

NO may see = can not see!

(since the heavy specs may keep slipping down the nose)

And "Now may see" is clear in itself. :cool:
 
The new copper bottom vessels carried upstairs by me
(huffing and puffing - to be given as gifts to the grahapravesam)
were promptly brouhgt back filled with prasadam! :wacko:
Whosoever will take huge vessels for bringing home prasadam???:rolleyes:
 
Sankatahara Chatuti always make ladies bring many prasadams to the temple.
God who can removes the hurdles,

The God who is as mischievous as one's own kids
affects people in many ways.
But for kutty Murugan also present there,
only two people care and one of them is me!
Kutty Murugan is the size of a sweet baby and
does not infuse fear in our minds!
 
The monthly income and expenditure are printed
at the back side of the monthly maintenance receipts!!:clap2:
What a contrast to the previous 4 years where we kept paying through the nose
not knowing what happened to all the money and where it was flowing!!! :confused:
 
The first meeting after the election in March.
I bet there will be good attendance and
the meeting will start at the sceduled time
and NOT after everybody leaves the room
vexed after having waited indefinitely!
NOW people wish to be seen and heard.
THEN people wished to be invisible and inaudible.

This is called as the baby-gate-play-yard!
It has eight lovely colorful panels and a gate.
It is ideal to keep kids at bay as they play and
at the same time make them feel part of the household! :)

Tarun and Tejas were busy playing with
colorful balloons filling this enclosure.

Tarun's Date of Birth is 12th August and
they have celebrated with a vegan home-made
carrot cake and colorful balloons.

Tejas went for red and purple balloons-his favorite colors
while the go-green-baby Tarun always went for green balloons.

They were so happy to play with great abandon and
at the same time felt so busy that they would not
take their eyes away from those colorful balloons.

Looking from above and beyond their mirth and joy
I could not help contemplating on what will be the reaction
of a higher being - watching us from a higher level -
our equally silly, joyful and pointless activities...
even as we try to deceive ourselves that
we are so busy doing this that and what not. :roll:
