Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM KP Maurya said, "After being held responsible for today's incident, Chief Project Manager HC Tiwari, Project Manager KR Sudan, Assistant Engineer Rajesh Singh and engineer Lal Chand have been suspended with immediate effect".

    A man in Surat claims to have invented the smallest iron press and wishes to enter the Guinness World Record books through his invention. The miniature iron press has been grabbing eyeballs with visitors coming to see the functioning of the press. The brains behind the invention, Pawan Sharma made a working model of an iron press in 2012 after his daughter asked for a press in order to iron the clothes of her dolls. He thought of entering the Guinness Books on suggestion from one of his friends. Aluminum, Tungsten, brass nuts and mobile charger pin have been used in making the iron press which takes 15 to 30 seconds to heat up.The Guinness World Records brand, which bill itself as the authority on record-breaking achievements, are yet to finalize the record.

Thank God we don't sell the ThAmbollap pai in India.

In fact, if any guest is made to leave without receiving one... he/ she feels insulted!

During the wedding on my younger son the mangaLa vAdhyam goshti gheroed us and would not let us get down from the ManamEdai.

Apparently they ALL wanted the thaamboola pai!!!

Thaamboolap pai in the middle of the wedding ceremony???

I had to promise to give them two bags each before we were allowed to go

Royal wedding guests suddenly do not seem very royal? right??? :moony:
