The train that NEVER stops moving:
Imagine a world where trains run continuously, picking up passengers without ever having to waste time stopping and starting at individual stations.
That’s the vision behind a revolutionary concept created by Chinese designer Chen Jianjun.
Rather than waiting on a platform and filing through the train’s series of narrow doors, passengers wait in a pod above the tracks.
As the train passes through the station, the pod locks onto the roof of the train and the passengers descend down a staircase into the train below.
Passengers wait in a pod on an elevated platform at each station.
As the train passes through the station, this pod locks onto the front of the roof and passengers descend onto the train.
The pod then moves to the rear of the roof to pick up passengers who want to exit at the next stop.
When the train arrives at the next stop, the rear pod is detached and a new pod is collected.

அதிவேக ரயில் பயணங்களை வழங்குவதில் சீன ரயில்வே துறையை மிஞ்ச முடியாது. தற்போது ரயில்களின் பயண நேரத்தை குறைப்பதற்காக புதிய தொழில்நுட்பத்தை கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளது.
ரயில் எந்த ஸ்டேசனிலும் நிற்காமல் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் போதே பயணிகள் ஏறுவதற்கும் இறங்குவதற்கும் வழி கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளனர்.
ஒரு ஸ்டேசனில் ரயில் நின்று செல்ல ஐந்து நிமிடம் ஆகிறது என்றால், வழியில் 30 ஸ்டேசன்கள் இருக்கும்பட்சத்தில் 150 நிமிடங்கள் ஆகும்.
அதாவது சுமார் இரண்டரை மணி நேரம் இதன் மூலம் செலவாகும். இதை மிச்சப்படுத்தலாம் என்கிறது சீன ரயில்வே.
இந்த தொழில் நுட்பத்தின்படி ரயில் எந்த ஸ்டேசனிலும் நிற்கத் தேவையில்லை. ரயில் பெட்டியின் மேல்பாகத்தில் தனியாக ஒரு இணைப்பு பெட்டி உள்ளது. ஒரு ஸ்டேசனில் இறங்க வேண்டிய பயணிகள் அந்த பெட்டிக்கு சென்றுவிட வேண்டும்.
ஸ்டேசன் வந்ததும் மேலே உள்ள அந்த பெட்டி மட்டும் தனியாக கழன்று ஸ்டேசனில் நின்றுவிடும். அது போல ஏற வேண்டிய பயணிகள் ஸ்டேசனில் தயாராக இருக்கும் பெட்டிக்கு சென்றுவிட வேண்டும்.
ரயில் அந்த ஸ்டேசனை கடக்கிற போது ரயிலில் மேல்பகுதியில் இந்த பெட்டி இணைந்துகொள்ளும். இதற்கென சிறப்பு வடிவமைப்பை மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது.
