Once a coalition is formed to support a party the parties supporting should not be allowed to withdraw support for the full term. So they have to think twice or thrice before supporting and cannot withdraw support later. Support can be withdrawn only under genuine exceptional cases

Is vice wise?
Virtues like honesty, impartiality, loyalty, empathy etc are grossly undervalued and even ignored as naive. Yes when almost everyone considers pragmatism being considering ones own interests irrespective of concern for others then these classic virtues lose their sheen.
But these people fail to understand that such pragmatism covers up their flaws in the guise of sophistication and shrewdness and cause them live in a make believe world. Real quality life is in honoring others interests and not harming others for furthering our interests. The same token of long term pragmatism dictates that if not anything else. You cannot stab a man in his back and hope to have your back unharmed. That is not pragmatism.
The conscience will also be clear and lifts your quality of life several notches. To fall into vices is easy. It offers immediate pleasure and hides the subsequent pitfalls and dangers. To live a virtuous life takes efforts but the efforts show you a path where you don't have to constantly glance back to ensure there are no dangers. And that peace is worth the efforts.
