Do you really think so?A very fast stress test of wisdom which includes intelligence.
If you are really not affected and remain calm and poised under severe or sharp verbal attack you have passed the test of wisdom and intelligence. No IQ or paper pencil tests of wisdom so accurate
But I cant deny that I feel bad if someone is very rude to me.Absolutely Renuka . You pass the test with flying colors. I don't understand why it is not used extensively as there is no other better test for wisdom and intelligence in sync giving results so fast.
You give yourself complete credit if you don't even internally have any impact. It is as if nothing happened.
An even more advanced stage you start getting weird positive energies if your attacker is able to sense will scare them and even feel ashamed. They should thank God they don't have access to that internal positive energy. That's the power.
I dont feel anger..I feel bad and keep wondering why people choose to be rude but I dont feel angry with the person or the situation. It is about time taken to dissolve negative emotions in your case. You do recover as you don't want to get even. The important thing is it doesn't crystallize.
People may say even God gets angry. It is a higher version of anger. It is to make and help people rise above. He evenly and adeptly uses all the gunas according to situation and adversary. Take the avatars of Vishnu. They come in all hues and colors. But the goal is one. To reinstate dharma in a way guided by the context.
But frankly the fact your anger dissolves even if two days says you are almost there. Put in more conscious effort and introspection. It is much more than worth the effort.
I dont feel anger. The simplest way to check whether your anger is righteous is to see whether anger happens only when self is attacked or not? When your ego responds it is personal but when your conscience responds it is dharmic
Renuka,I dont feel anger.
Anger is one emotion I dont seem to have ..could be cultural conditioning that women are not expected to get angry and occupational training that a doc must be 24/7 kind and compassionate..all these could have changed anger response.
When I feel bad if someone is rude,I do ask myself " who or what is it that is feeling bad?..is it the ego?"
I dont measure it on a Dharmic scale as the ego has a tendency to hide behind the idea of Dharma.
So I usually ask myself
1) will the other person change?
answer..no idea unless God wills.
2) so what can I do?
answer ..I can only change how my mind views the situation.
