In my practical experience with various horoscopes, If the boy and the girl belong to the same Gotra, it is said to give problems with respect to projeny. For lineage to prosper, they should be of different Gotra.

There is no other problem.

But then again why should anyone expect a rational behavior from a horoscope specialist.

@Prasad No its not that i wouldn't stand for her, am just trying to look for any ways if any to convince them, because they have brought up all through our life so they deserve atleast this from our side. If nothing works then finally would marry against their wishes only!!
