Thanks is a bad word within the family, between spouses, parents, children, siblings and between very close friends.
For responsibilities undertaken and duties performed, you don't have to thank anybody. In such cases you reciprocate your sentiment through action and not through words.
The word thanks distances you from the concerned by a margin however slender it be.
We thank God because we always keep him at a safe distance!

Pakistan is our born enemy
China is our sworn enemy
Bangladesh is our vacillating enemy
Italy is our instant enemy
Nepal is our nebulous enemy

Our enemy list is growing!

Left or right mind boggling
At times LEFT may be RIGHT
and RIGHT may be LEFT
where you want to turn LEFT and if you turn LEFT, you are RIGHT.
if you have LEFT what is to be left, then you are RIGHT.
It is LEFT to you to do what is RIGHT.
If you leave your RIGHT, it means you have LEFT your RIGHT.
If somebody talks like this to you,
I am sure you will give him LEFT and RIGHT.

not even knowing what you eat
and what others by your side eat,
whether they eat from their plate
or from your plate,
struggling to eat with a spoon
that is not properly sterilised
and as a finale,
dipping the hands in a bowl of water
and cleansing with a tissue paper,
NOT CARING TO GARGLE AND WASH THE MOUTH WITH WATER
( one of those few good hygienic habits for which we have not yet said good bye)
preserving a part of the menu
In the mouth till next brushing,
paying an abnormal bill with tips
as a show of status and magnanimity,
which bill amount could feed
a poor family for a whole month;
ALL THESE HAVE BECOME PART OF OUR GROWING FIVE STAR CULTURE
