Take the case of the infinite ocean. There is no limit to its water. Suppose a pot is immersed in it: there is water both inside and outside the pot. The jnani sees that both inside and outside there is nothing but Paramatman. Then what is this pot? It is ‘I-consciousness’. Because of the pot the water appears to be divided into two parts; because of the pot you seem to perceive an inside and an outside. One feels that way as long as this pot of ‘I’ exists. When the ‘I’ disappears, what is remains. That cannot be described in words.

HE IS EVERYTHING.

KrishnA is everything seen by us and He is in everyone living in the world.

But He is best remembered by those which are the best among the things.

All the alphabets start with அ, अ ,అ, A etc. KrishnA is the ‘akAram’

among the alphabets.The most superior of all the ‘mantrAs’ is the

‘pranavam’ or ‘OM’. It is KrishnA who resides in the OM.

Among all the kings who had ruled the earth, He is Manu;

Among all the revered rushis He is dEvarishi nAradA and brughu;

Among all the asurAs He is PrahlAd;

Among all the pasUs He is KAmadEnU;

Among all the birds that soar in the sky He is GarudA;

Among all the snakes He is the AnanthA;

Among all the rivers that flow He is GangA;

Among all the brahmins He is Bali;

Among all the yAgAs and yagnAs He is the easiest and most effective

japa yagnA;

Among all the soldiers He is arjunA;

Among all the baktAs He is udhdhavA.

He is the ‘balam’ of all ‘balavAns’ and ‘tejas’ of all ‘tejasvees’ .

Whatever is the best in the world, is a projection of

His glory, His beauty, His strength and His form.

மிக அருகினிலும், மிகத் தொலைவிலினும்!





முதுகும் முதுகும் ஒட்டி நிற்கும் இருவர் ,
முகம் கண்டு எப்படிப் பேச முடியும்?
எதிர் எதிரே வந்து நிற்க விரும்பினால்,
எண்ணி ஓர் அடி பின் வாங்கினாலே போதும்.

“முன் வைத்த காலைப் பின் வையேன்” என,
முரண்டு பிடித்து முன் நோக்கிச் சென்றால்;
முழு உலகையுமே சுற்றி வர முயன்றால்;
முகமன் கூறலாம் அதன் பாதிச் சுற்றிலே.

நினைத்துப் பார்த்தால் அதிசயம், உண்மை;
அனைத்துப் பொருட்களையும் விடவும் நம்
அருகில் இருப்பவன் நாம் காண இயலாத,
சிறு வடிவுடைய அந்த ஆண்டவன் தானே!

கை அளவு இதயத்தில் கட்டை விரல் உயரத்தில்,
மையத்தில் அமர்ந்து, ஆட்சி செய்கிறான் அவன்.
குருதி கொப்பளிக்கும் நம் இருதயமே அவன்,
விரும்பி அமரும் ஒரு இரத்தின சிம்மாசனம்.

சூரியன், சந்திரன், மின்னும் தாரகைகளை,
சீரிய முறையில் கண்ணால் காண முடியுது.
மழையை, மின்னல் கீற்றினை காண முடியுது;
மாதவனை மட்டும் ஏன் காண முடியவில்லை?

விரித்த வலை போன்றே நம் ஐம் பொறிகள்,
விரிந்து பரந்து வெளியே செல்கின்றன.
திருப்பி அவற்றை உள்ளே செலுத்தினால்,
திவ்ய மங்களனை நாம் உணர முடியும்.

மிக மிக அருகில் அவன் இருந்த போதிலும்,
மிக மிகத் தொலைவில் இருப்பது போல,
உணர்வது தவறான பயண திசையினால்!
உள்முகம் சென்றால் உணர்வோம் அவனை.

பாதையை மாற்றுவோம் உள்முகம் நோக்கி,
பயணத்தைத் தொடர்வோம் இறைவனை நோக்கி,
பரந்த உலகில் மாறாத சிறந்த பயன் என்று,
பரந்தாமனை விடவும் வேறு என்ன உண்டு?

வாழ்க வளமுடன்,
விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.

THE NEAREST AND THE FARTHEST.

If two men stand back to back, it will be impossible for them to talk to each other, facing each other. If they really want to come face to face, each of them just has to move back one step.
If they both of them are stubborn and would not step back, they will have to go forward and cover the entire globe and meet each other half way though!

It is really surprising that the person who is nearest to us is God! He is the size of our little thumb, sits in our fist-sized-heart and rules over the world. The heart bubbling with blood is the pretty throne made of Corundum, He loves best!

We are able to see The Sun, The Moon, the stars the rain-drops and even the forked flash of a lightning. But why are we unable to see God?

Our sense organs spread in the external world, like a fishing net thrown by an expert fisherman. However hard we may try, we will never be able to find God-since we are traveling in the wrong direction. If we turn back all our senses and redirect them towards the inner self, we will surely find Him!

Even though God is closest to us, we feel that He is farthest from us because of the wrong direction of our travel. Let us travel towards Him and not away from Him. What can be a better purpose of a human life, than knowing Him our protector and creator!

Worthy of HIM I should become,
The lovely God the size of a thumb;
Who hides in our hearts playfully,
The safest hide-out universally!

Let my mind vanish completely,
Like the misty vapors in Sunshine.
Let HIM guide my hand willingly,
He who makes the stars shine!

Let me be an instrument in His hands,
And just a bundle of aches and pains;
May I see only what HE wants me to see,
May I do only what HE wants me to do.

May I speak only what HE wants me to say,
May I hear only what HE wants me to hear;
Nay, nay, it is time to drop the “I” and “mine”,
And be controlled by the Power Divine!

We think that we own the world,
As masters of the things we hoard;
While in truth we do not possess,
Even our very own foolish selves!
