Dear Sir / Madam,
I have joined this forum recently. I am planning a pilgrimage with my wife to go to Panch Dwaraka. Since I am in Delhi for the past 30 years, we know the language Hindi and used to the North Indian type of food. so we wanted to explore on our own and would like guidance from the members as to how to reach there, the number of days required and the places to stay places to stay etc. Could the members kindly guide me please.
Regards,
S.Gopalan.

At srinath dwaraka, you cannot get darshan from morning to evening, the god is considered as a child, hence the timings are limited, hence better always go for early morning darshan, the inner most sanctum will be like a hall, there won't be any line, just that people will be rushed inside the hall, don't try to go near the deity, because you will have less time for darshan, hence always try to stay at the entrance as much as possible, the crowd will slowly push you near the deity, this way you can have lots of time for darshan.

At bet dwaraka, you can find lots of temples, with fictious stories saying Lord krishna did this here and did that there, But most of them are false only, one temple is there which relies on the importance, also it contains the stones which was used in ramaeshwaram, you can find it floating on water.

Don't miss the ambaji temple, somnath temple, and the shiva temple in the middle of the sea. Also the nageshwar jyotirling, Harsidhi mata mandir, Also the place where Lord krishna was cremated, Balrama went to pathal lok, The most beautiful grandeur, Dilwara temple at mount abu bordering rajesthan. Taj Mahal is nothing when compared to its beauty,

Also see the birth place of Mahatma gandhi, Gujarat is a place wherein night falls very late, 7pm will look as tamilnadu 5pm, hence you will get lots of time for roaming.

Happy journey

Dear gopalanji
Take a train /flight to ahmedabad and taka a convenient overnight train to dwaraka.

alternate take a flight to bhuj from bombay as delhi may not be connected and take a cab.

I also belong to delhi . train is a good option

I went via ahmedabad.

the neatest time for temples is early morning

there are a lot of veg hotels .some give very good north indian food not necessrily gujarathi .

pl see the monsoon position before going

in most of the temples , there are no specific places for keeping chappals/shoes . people do not care and simply leave it outside as they have faith in humans and God.lol

Can you pl kindly tell me how to go to Ambaji temple, Somanath temple, Nishkalang Mahadev temple ( the one in the middle of the sea), Nageswar Temple ( Jyotir Lingam) and Harsidhi Mata Mandir.

If you can guide me how to plan the trip from Ahamadabad, I will be very thankful as I had not been to Gujarat and this is the first time. I will be going with my Aged Father.

You can suggest me whether trains are convenient or to hire a cab from Ahamadabad to all these places and back to Ahamadabad.

Anyone else who can guide me can also give me their advice/ideas/suggestions.
