Sowbagyavathy Dr.Anandi Ramakrishnan, Greetings.

I already did. That's why I posted the Tamizh movie "Siraichalai" (In Malayalam, it was 'Kala Pani'). If you haven't watched it yet, it is well worth watching.... particularly today, on 15th August.

Our India is full of both Hindus and Muslims and my husband's best friend is a Muslim! Though we have different religions we are all (at least in TN) living as brothers and sisters!! My husband remembers fondly of partaking in the breaking of the fast (he never fasted, just partook!) of them and drinking the கஞ்சி!

Yes, Dear Valli, We live in a country where we treat every person as our own... I never think or bother about these religions and their differences. God is one... No one has seen the God.. There is a supreme power, all believe in that. Different religions pray as per their beliefs... So What..?? What is the difference in humans.. We sleep with the hope to get up in the next day.. (No guarantee...) one life span is with us.. Why can't people live peacefully with cooperation and understanding.. All are eager and fast to conquer the world and accumulate as much as they can.. I don't know may be they think that God has given them more than 100 years to live on the earth....
Let our country prosper and free from all these hazards... let our future generation live in a healthy atmosphere...
I think this will be apt song to share with all... India Naadu En veedu... Indian enpadu en peru... I hope you will also agree with me.. Love Anandi

Dear Anandi

I agree with that! I have friends from all walks of life! The main thing is we don't brag about "My God" or "my religion"! According to me, god and religion is like one's own mother! You have your mother and I have my mother! I can NEVER say that my mother is THE BEST above your mother and the same with my friend of other religion!

Even when Jehovas' witness people came to my house - I took their books out of courtesy and when this old lady asked me to read the bible, I told her the above!! She just shut up!

May be I am not the right person to talk about politics and to tell about who is right or who is wrong.. All I can do is respect my Mother Land to the maximum, listen to Her beautiful songs and Pass it to the maximum number of listeners... I can visualize how I want my country to be.... If you have positive attitude and if you do your part in the service of the people in a simple and humble way.. one day I am sure our country will become prosper and rich with all goodness once again....
