Chennai: A day after 14 Islamic radicals were deported from the UAE, statements recorded by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Tamil Nadu police revealed plans to foment trouble in Tamil Nadu through terror modules/activities.
NIA officials said one of the accused, Hasan Ali, who was picked up earlier from Nagapattinam district along with Harish Mohammed, was an ISIS operative assigned to collect explosives, poison, vehicles and knives and carry out recruitment for the terror outfit.
