Some comments given by a group of students after debate :-

1. Now we are being told that the Nirbhaya rapists have been evading the gallows through legal loopholes!

2. Chidambarams and Gandhis are out on bail through legal loopholes.

3. Mallya escaped the country through legal loopholes.

4. Nityananada established his own country through legal loop holes.

5. Millions of cases are pending in our courts for decades because of legal loopholes.

6. Any law passed by the Parliament for the good of the country, eg. Judicial accountability bill, is struck down by the Judiciary by using legal loopholes!

7. Antinational statements are coloured by the Judiciary as FOE and "safety valve of democracy" by using legal loopholes.

8. Protest/violence by a handful of Muslim hooligans at Muslim dominated areas against a law enacted by the Parliament cannot be acted upon because of legal loopholes.

9. Basic religious rights of Hindus to hold Saraswati Puja at the schools can be trampled upon because of loophole and bogey called Secularism!

10. States can make resolutions against laws passed by the Center in it's exclusive domain, because of legal loopholes.

11. Governors are insulted by the CMs and their cheerleaders day in and day out, without any sign of abating, because of legal loopholes!

12. Courts act suomoto only on selected issues for own TRP, because of legal loopholes.

13. Courts poke their noses on Thousands of year old Hindu rites and traditions on the drop of a hat while maintaining a stoic silence on most inhuman practices of non Hindus , all because of legal loopholes.

14. India is apparently slated to retain it's unique status in the world of having citizens without citizenship idendity cards, because of legal loopholes!

................One can go on and on non stop like this...

But the fact is, since independence, we as a nation have inflicted so many holes unto ourselves, that we do not know through which hole to inhale and exhale, and through which hole to fart!

It is time now to write a fresh and brand new constitution without any baggage of holes and least of all, loopholes!* or IMHO the problem is with the election process by which the majority of the population is unrepresented and their views not heard.

That way Malaysia is way better
Here we have Tamil medium schools and the Tamil medium schools can do any pooja they want.
Certain Tamil medium schools also teach carnatic music, hindustani flute and also thevaram classes and yoga.

In Tamil medium school daily assembly starts with OM.

In National schools which are Malay medium( which majority of us attended..including me)..it starts with Islamic recitation.

Chinese medium schools dont start with anything religious.

Schools are not English medium in Msia unless one opts for an International school.

one can surmise that indians are having a better life elsewhere than in india . Any way mother land equals a mother a fact can not be disputed.

Land of birth is motherland.
So it depends where one was born in.
Land of genetic origin could be different from motherland.

The present Constitution of India has already undergone more than one hundred changes.

It is itself is, in other words, a new Constitution brought out with 104 changes.

We keep on bringing in amendments every ow and then.

Our MPs are more busy and some of them have started reading the Constitution only now…more especially the preamble…!!

A Country with different civilization, various regions, number of castes, tribes, communities with their varied religions and languages and history. Some of them are more attached to their mother tongue, some of them are devoted to the religion they believe and some of them are more rigid in the supremacy of their rituals, etc

There are lot of difference in the natural resource, more States have plenty of hills and water resources while few suffer with deserts, forest, Sea etc All the States does not have Coal source and a river passing through.

When it to the topic of national language, there will be a friction between the south and north on the topic of imposition of Hindi.

Partitioned with more divisions, States governed with different Principles and ideologies, representations, grievances, but with democracy as its key.

With all this baggage, how can there be a Constitution without any holes….??

Now who is responsible for the unrepresented population…?

By the way, why a section of people don’t exercise their franchise….?

Why are they not exercising their right..?

Why should we worry about the people who don’t bother to vote…?

Why should we worry about the people who ignore our Election process...?

Why should we worry about the people who don’t have the sense to respect the Constitution by participating in the Election process…?

And above all, what the guarantee that the new Constitution framed will not have any loopholes…..??

Every citizen of the country will have his own list of grievances.
