dear friends!

I just posted the second half of the quotations and proverbs in East Meets West - without illustrations.

Finding a suitable cartoon for each proverb is tedious and time consuming.

My daughter in law is not able to devote much time to this since Tejas keeps her on her toes all day long.

So I just posted them without the illustrations and completed the blog at wordpress.

After all my aim was to compile them and preserve them for the future users.

you are welcome to visit

<veenaaramani.wordpress.com>

to view the proverbs (1 to 420)
and read the proverbs ( 421 to 810).:pray2:

I post this to keep this thread alive so that I can add some proverbs later on. :bump2:

My actual target is a collection of 1000 proverbs.

I am on the proverb hunt for the remaining 180 proverbs :)

These links expect one to become a member of WORDPRESS.

But it is already there in the collection of 820 proverbs-
with appropriate illustration!

Sorry, I did not have the time to go through all of your earlier postings
By the way, considering the prolific way you are able to contribute to the thread,
would you please share the secret of how you find the time to be so alive on the forum?
The very first problem is the internet connectivity - what kind of broadband connection
you have. Even before I could make a single posting, the link freezes so often. At your
speed and rate of posting, I would need more than 24 hrs per day.

@Visalakshi Ramani : Looks like you missed this posting or may be keeping benign silence?

Let me answer this, on behalf of my sister. She seldom visits this thread and might have missed it. Otherwise, she is very

prompt in answering Qs.

BSNL broadband connection for unlimited usage is very good. Payment is around Rs. 900/ p.m and 400 phone calls are free p.m.

Unless the server is down, which happens rarely, the connectivity is good.

Please prepare the post in gmail, which is auto saved and then copy paste it in the message box. There seems to be auto save

facility in this forum. But, so far, I do not know where the auto saved drafts are stored!! :noidea:

Thank you dear MY sister for saving me the time and :typing::hug:

I am
NOT the type to remain silent after receiving a mail/post :)
The Forum is THE ONLY PLACE I stay alive.
Otherwise it is either drudgery or boredom.
So I want to live every available minute well.
My sister has replied to all your queries.
But there is one more thing.
In Coimbatore the average power cut during a day is 9 to 10 hours!
I really really thank and bless my two sons who presented me with a laptop
and set up the wireless using UPS so that I can work irrespective of the power supply.
Otherwise I may not be able to post even in one thread.
Any more questions dear sir???

dear Mr. Naina-marbus,

The only thing that can compete with my chaotic life is the Cosmic Chaos (is there such a thing???)

So I type and prepare all my regular posts - sponging out all my free time and spare time 24 x 365.

I store my posts in one of my many Google accounts
(numbering more than my bank accounts)

Only the replies I type out readily. That is why I enter a thread and reply ONLY if have finished my daily assignments and still have some more free time.

with warm regards, :pray2:
