It is convenient to think that non-brahmins do not have any innate casteist tendencies and that they inherit (or inherited) such tendencies only from brahmins. That does not become a fact. MK is a non-brahmin casteist. That is all!

I agree. I feel DMK wants castes and caste-differences to remain (as political platforms), for the sake of doing politics with it. JJ on the other hand has shown genuine concern and warmth. I feel she is a true Vaishnavite in this matter.
