Married into other caste

I’m married into a different caste with my parents complete acceptance. Now that my father has passed away, I’m not being permitted to attend any of the masikam, shardham by my family members. I am the second daughter. Pla clarify if this is the way..
The response varies depending on whom you aim to persuade. Is it merely for your own comprehension, or are you trying to convince your relatives? The latter is unlikely. They are deeply entrenched in what they perceive as tradition, even though none of it is supported by our genuine scriptures. They remain unaware and uninterested in learning. These so-called Potta-sastram (blind sastram) are harsh and not aligned with the overall vision of the Vedas.

Caste (Jaathi) has no foundation in our authentic scriptures; instead, Varna represents a non-birth-based classification found in the original texts. Caste is an unfortunate overlay on Hinduism and serves as a blemish.

If you wish to know what steps to take for your understanding, feel free to respond, and I will attempt to provide some insights. However, persuading certain individuals may prove futile. If they allow it, you might attend, but that could be challenging due to the narrow-minded culture that assigns a mere three-day Theettu to relations outside the same gotra (like a daughter married into a different lineage). This implies you may not even be able to participate. Nonetheless, these local customs lack a place in authentic scriptures, which demand critical thinking and comprehension.
