1. As winter draws to a close in delhi and spring and summer slowly start it is beautiful to be in delhi.A mildly warm sunny days
temp 20 degrees celsius and night 8 to 10 degrees nothing could be more delightful.
2. Politics for pending election is starting in earnest with AAP announcing Athishi as candidate . Others are yet to announce
their candidate.My constituency is likely to see only women taking on each other. Congress is unable to agree on seat adjustment in
delhi with AAP. With the grand old lady Ms Sheila dikshit again heading delhi unit of congress is pitching for 3 seats as
against an offer of two from AAP.So fights are likely to be triangular as it strands.
3.Retail prices of vegetables are shooting up with middle men pocketing huge margins, the whole sale prices are much low
There are no takers for discretionary consumer durables . Malls are deserted. School and college exams are keeping away
the students. Housewives throng temples due to Kumbh mela effect rubbing off on them. Most say it was one of the best
organised Kumbh in years.
4. Situation at the borders is hardly encouraging air travel. Jet airways cancelling flights is adding to misery of domestic
passengers.Air india and vistara are flyiing full and air travel prices have shot up.Budget carriers do not suit senior citizens.
Best take the wheel chair option on domestic flights for easier travel.For reasons best known to Airindia economy class
passengers are provided only vegetarian meal . The best days for travel on chennai delhi route is tuesday as rates are
lower on that day[ About a thousand rupees less]
5 There is a wave of patriotic rhetoric after the border skirmishes.
