It took 17 years for King and her colleague to identify the single gene that could cause both breast and ovarian cancer. During that time, many people discounted her work, saying that genes couldn't cause complex diseases like cancer. She proved them wrong, first by mapping the gene's location, and then in 1994, by announcing that her laboratory had successfully cloned the BRCA1 gene. Varun is very adventurous in tasting new food items.
He tastes the keerai miLakoottal first and screamed -
haning out his tongue as we do to depict Narasimha avatar.
Then he did repeat performance after tasting
the rasam and banana curry making it a hat trick!!!

My daddy, my mummy, my chair, my plate, my toy, my tool, my food, my juice... :bump2:
Snatching / pulling apart / destroying / demolishing are common occurrences.
A lovely colorful caterpillar got pulled into two at first vertically.
So one half has the head with antennae and the other only the hind quarters.
Now Varun is trying his very best to pull apart the front half horizontally
in order to make it look like infant Jayathrathan.
Everything is recognized as belonging to someone - mostly himself/herself!

The older version of knee wraps with silicon dots
which my younger son gave me in 1998.
The newer version which I purchased in India in March 2014.
I was under tight scrutiny for wearing padded knee wraps.
They were still fresh from the shop.
Seeing the enormous price of these wraps,
I spent one day in getting the older version made usable
by giving it an additional lining and attaching new Velcro.
I shudder to think now what would have happened ....
IF I had worn the colorful knee wraps repaired by me??? :fear:
What will happen to the Indian ladies wearing the padded you-know-what!!! :scared:
