Every girl dotes a Barbie or hugs a Teddy
( modified Electra Complex???)

Every boy owns a real dog or a soft toy dog.
(Symbolic of the fact that a dog is man's best friend???)

Or is it known to him that when he grows up and becomes a man
no one (not his wife, not his son, not his daughter)
will be obeying him .....except his dog???

Photo session was fun.

Now they expect the family to come dressed mono chrome.

So the choice becomes very limited when we are touring.

The little prince wore his best dress and the rest of us

wore the nearest shade of color we could find.

Dressed in kurtas and salwars we looked very very Indian. :)

Juju wore in a cute langa and blouse and I wore a sari.

To make the small kids look at the camera and smile/ laugh

they tickle them with a soft toy and make some funny sounds.

One lady does the tickling and gives the sound effects.

The other one stands ready with the camera.

The tickler recedes slowly backwards and

at the right instant the photographer does her part of the job. :photo:

There was a family who tried to get some photos taken when we went there.

The husband was a huge African American and his wife a huge American.

The kids had their father's features & hair and their mother's color

(the right combination???)

They were howling like rettai naayanam all along. +

No photo could be taken!!!
After we finished they tried once more only to produce one more rettai naayanam. :horn: :horn:

They gave up and went home to try on another day.

The funniest part was this.

The moment they cam out the kids started laughing, playing and chasing each other!!!

The dark room studio, with glowing white umbrellas and the

women in black were too much for them probably!

Children want to know why they have to do what they are expected to do.

A little explanation will get the desired result better than

blunt authority or threatening or emotional blackmail!

An American girl dressed in an angelic frock
was making faces at a boy < 1 year sitting in her front.

The boy's mother took to task the little girl.

I was amused since her little boy was making funny faces
and squinting his eyes at the girl first.

The boy's mother was completely unaware of her own son's mischief.

Proves that the eye does not know its own faults!!! :nono:

It is hard to guess the relationship of the people we meet here.

We may think that it is grand pa and his grandson

while it might be a dad and his son!

Old ladies have skins which can be peeled off like the skin of boiled potatoes!:tsk:

So mistaking a mother as a grand mother is less possible. :decision:

Some buffet charge $8 for adults, $6 for super seniors,

$3 for children between 4 and 6 years and $0 for children below 4.

I am sure that a determined toddler and child can eat

more than super senior and an adult respectively! :hungry:

Samosas are not included in the buffet. :nono:

People have to pay for it separately.

Small wonder since the owner MUST KNOW the art of survival.

Or it will be buffet of ONLY samosas and nothing else.

Here people believe in unlimited everything!!! :hungry:

Earth Hour is a worldwide movement for the planet organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The event is held worldwide annually encouraging individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the last Saturday in March, as a symbol for their commitment to the planet.[SUP]

[/SUP] It was famously started as a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia in 2007. Since then it has grown to engage more than 7000 cities and towns worldwide. Today, Earth Hour engages a massive mainstream community on a broad range of environmental issues. The one-hour event continues to remain the key driver of the now larger movement.

Earth Hour 2014 was on Saturday, March 29, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm in a location's local time. Earth Hour 2015 will be on Saturday, March 28, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. during participants' local time.
