Dear Krish ji,

Inside each person there is more than one personality..it is just that we consciously suppress some of it to be acceptable to society.

That is why at times we find some "professionals" trying very hard to project an image of so called class and status and caliber..they are afraid that their true selves might not be what the crowds wants.

I will give you an example..whenever I have to attend a medical meeting at a private hospital..before the talk starts we will be shown promotion videos of the hospital.

The music would be so slow and almost death like each time showing each survivor and their testimony.

Then one fine day I asked the organizer why dont you guys change the music..your music sound very depressing..at the beginning its Ok to have depressing music when you are showing a sick patient but when patient recovers please make the music fast and happy notes.

Ok..all doctors turned around to look at me! Some female doctors were gasping.

Then after a while..the organizer agreed and said they thought it was a good idea.

Then during lunch some other doctors came up to me and told me 'actually even I was thinking the same thing..that the music was depressing but I was afraid to say it"

So you see Krish ji..many are afraid that their true selves might not match the general opinion.

But life is too short to be worried about others..in fact there is no need even to undergo hypnosis to know whether we are an Ambi or Remo or an Anniyan..just snap your finger and decide what you want to be today.

More later..have to be a housewife now..need to cook lunch.

we know our true selves can hardly match the general opinion

which is a better option. be our true self become more unwanted , or agree with majority opinion and sail along or switch and decide what we will be for the day and every

body shouts chamelon you were different yesterday. it is not being afraid or anything. Is change on a daily basis a good approach to living. ?

in case of constant change, consistency of behaviour becomes an issue.

A philosophical and bigger issue . what do we want?

again a sunday. a day for such reflections.lol

The general opinion is from the general public who are afraid of exploring their true selves..so when its false to start with, why worry?

which is a better option. be our true self become more unwanted , or agree with majority opinion and sail along or switch and decide what we will be for the day and every.

For me I rather be myself..even if it means becoming more unwanted. The most important is we should want ourselves.
The only time I actually hear people saying good about another is when that person is dead..that too its totally fake..all their lives they would hate someone but when they attend a funeral of that person they fake that they liked the person. So hardly anyone is true to themselves.

Does a chameleon complain? Enjoy the 50 shades of life!

There is no judge..others will only get confused..you will hear Nayagan Dialogue "Neenge Nallavara Kettavara?" If you concentrate more you can even hear Nayagan Music when you walk.

We do not know what we want!

again a sunday. a day for such reflections.lol

yes..you are right..someone was talking about mirrors in this thread!LOL

Coming to cry babies..I have an interesting story to share.

Almost every time when a male child cries while seeing me..the parents tell the child "hey you are a boy...boys dont cry..shame on you".

I do not think a male child should suppress his emotions just becos he is male.

Yesterday a child had an injury and he was crying out of pain and fear that I am going to give him an injection.

His mother was telling non stop "boys dont cry..be strong"

I calmed the child down and told him "its perfectly normal to cry even if you are a boy..its becos you are in pain and scared of injection..the injection will hurt quite a bit..it will be painful try to stand it..cry if you want but just stay still becos if you move it will be more painful..after a while it will be fine"

The child calmed down and he was mentally preparing for more pain as I injected and he did not cry.

He then said "it was not painful"

The trick was he was mentally prepared for a higher amount of pain and when the injection was not all that painful he felt no pain.

Moral of the story: Most males have never been allowed to express their emotions when they were young..they have never been allowed to identify with their feminine side. When they become older they tend to identify with that side and become "cry oldies'!LOL

With females its different..when they were young they were not allowed to identify with their masculine side and were expected to be soft and gentle and crying was almost expected from a female. In old age they tend to identify with their masculine side and become more vocal. That is why partly Mother In Laws can behave harshly..she identifies with her masculine side only at old age. There is no 'cry oldie" female..an oldie female is always more aggressive!

So always allow any child..male or female to be free to cry/ laugh and identify with both the masculine and feminine side of his/her personality...it makes a person balanced thru out their lives.

WOW Renu!

That explains perfectly well why males become timid

and ladies aggressive as they grow old! :clap2:

Dear VR ji,

That is why God has given us the hint in the form of Ardhanarishwara.

By identifying with both male and female..one is balanced.

If we carefully look at the pic of the Ardhanarishwara..what do we see at the side of Lord Shiva?

We see a Bull..a bull is a bovine species..kind of gentle.. Nandi is always gentle

But the side of Parvati we see a Lion..an aggressive feline

So if we are only Shiva we become a docile bovine eventually...and if we are only Parvati we become a ferocious feline ultimately.

But if we are a neither Shiva nor Parvati but identify with both..both these animals the Bovine and the Feline have to life in harmony.

So the concept holds good for us humans I feel.

97. Anima and Animus

It is nature’s law that opposite things must coexist. All human beings have both masculine and feminine energies. Similarly each individual has both the masculine and the feminine part of the Psyche.

The feminine part of a male’s psyche is called The Anima. It is the personification of all the feminine psychological tendencies in a man’s mind.

The masculine part of a female’s psyche is called The Animus. It is the personification of all the masculine psychological tendencies in a woman’s mind.

Human biological and psychological development depends on this mixture of the masculine and feminine energies. Anima and Animus are shaped by relating to and associating with the parent of the opposite sex. A man’s anima is influenced by his mother and a woman’s animus by her father.

Anima and Animus can influence a person in a positive or a negative manner. A man under the influence of positive Anima will show tenderness, patience, consideration and compassion. The negative Anima will be exhibited as vanity, meanness, moodiness and verbal attacks.

A woman with positive Animus will exhibit assertiveness, rationality in thoughts, self control and compassionate strength. The negative Animus will exhibit in strong opinions, ruthlessness, destructive forces, brutality, obstinacy and an uncontrollable urge to make decisions on each and every issue!

Anima and Animus are not bad in themselves but they should be developed properly. To assimilate the effect of Anima, a man must discover his true feelings. To become familiar with Animus, a woman must constantly question her opinions and ideas.

Anima and Animus must be developed carefully – by the parents, by setting on good examples – lest their children descend to the level of being mere animals!

Krish ji...blue are my answers.
before we explore ourself we need to accept ourself as we are. then perhaps we can subject ourself to further scrutiny overcoming fear of self

many things about ourself we take it for granted and do not question unless there is a crisis situation warranting reassessment.

we adopt most positions in life based on this assessment and image of oneself.

if we question these or others do it , we defend these positions .

no one likes the basic positions challenged. many would crumble on such assessment.

whenever I tell many in this forum , what they think are difficult are very easy to achieve ,they mostly think of the price they had to pay to achieve this and attack the

messenger.

there is huge price to be paid to be oneself besides being unwanted and shunned by many. ultimately what have we achieved which others did not .

Krish Ji,

Just take stock of your achievements. You are indeed a blessed one. Personally you could have achieved a lot which I don’t know.

But in this Forum you have definitely achieved awards which one should really feel proud of.

And there are lot of things you can still accomplish as you are quite capable of.

Cheers

Forum is different. Here everything is different. Variety is spice of life. Enjoy!!!

But still some crave for points and awards. Let their tribe grow.

P.S: Grievances to some Members are like waves in ocean and there seems to be no end.

Let me leave this thread to take care of some other important assignments! :peace:

Me too.

Now another Member is going to come and take class about 'variety', 'different' and 'Grievances', etc leaving the essence of the message.

It is all in the game.

Life is becoming interesting in this Forum.

Good day to all.
