Think or sink!

I have a real problem now.
Whether to wear gold jewels for the oncoming wedding and risk them
or wear my colorful crystal and pearls and play safe and look modern.
I don't feel belittled by the crystals and pearls but
I bet there will be someone who would feel let down!
Even in my own son's wedding I shared the dining space with some non entities.
So how does it matter what I wear and with whom I share the living/ dining space.

BLOGS of articles take care of themselves since people come searching for them.

It is only the puraanaas which usually no one searches for

that are difficult to write and difficult to make people read.

Today's statistics for the blog of articles

Today morning when I logged in I was in one my worst moods. :(

Simple and essential things were denied to me for no reasons. :pout:

The moment I read the post by Mr. krish I smiled and I became happy. :)

Wow...sounds so sweet...like a Tamil movie song sequence this song is playing in my mind!

Smile, an everlasting smile
A smile can bring you near to me
Don't ever let me find you gone
Cause that would bring a tear to me
This world has lost it's glory
Lets start a brand new story
Now, my love
You think that I don't even mean
A single word I say...
It's only words
And words are all I have
To take your heart away

hey VRji
Pearls and crystals are the 'in' things these days

Gold is for oldies

youngsters like you should glitter in pearls and stones of different colours, size and varieties.

you need to think young to feel young

where did belittling come from

I like your sharing of dining space with non entities.

I personally feel comfortable with slum types and taking the food they cook for me.

it is heavanly .

sometime if you happen to be in delhi visit me .

I am a good host

you might enjoy the delicacies my cook makes.

I am not bluffing

Good morning Mr. Krih! :yo:

I changed over to pearls and crystals more than 20 years ago.

Thanks to my sons who introduced me to jade, pearls and other colorful crystals.

Was I also responsible for making them the in thing?

I am not very sure! :)

I had to introduce myself as the mother of the groom and the response was always

No one ever waits for me...except my sons.

Nor do I wish anyone to wait for me.

I get to meet more interesting people this way.

KoNdavan pOtrinaal anaivarum pOtruvar.

My own modification of the old adage,

KoNdavan thootrinaal kaNdavanun thootruvaan.

We learn more about life and people by mingling with strangers.

I haven't gone beyond Bombay so far.

May be you may also come down South sometimes.

I - the cook - make excellent dishes too.

It may not be vary vast menu but I bet it will be a tasty menu. :)

Oh Renu!
I don't recognize you any more.
You have changed your avatar!

dear VR ji,

good morning ji
i know your morning for this forum is between 10.30 hrs and 11 am.

this crystal, jade ,pearls thing I became familiar because of my wife since she believes diamond does not suit her for reasons best known to her .

so besides indian metros , even abroad in asia and europe I have gone to shops selling these.

so I came to know of intricacies in selection and purchase of these items.

hyderabad is the place for pearls in india if you happen to visit

I do not tolerate anyone who does not keep an appointment time wise . similarly if someone acts busy and not give me service in a bank or such places , I barge into managers

room or walk out and send my car driver to get it done. we are not very young .time is precious for us. so we have to use our time judiciously not allowing anybody to

make us wait for anything.you have done good to all .this is payback time . they need to be considerate . worth forcing issues and others need to fulfill our needs in

reciprocity why not?

it is good to interact with strangers .the advantage , our past does not matter and one can make a fresh beginning .

we cannot do much about existing relationships . perhaps marginally improve them. we might change others to some extent to meet us atleast halfway .

we perhaps need to endure the rest

my wife also had a crisis a few years some years back saying she got a very bad deal in career .in india.

i pushed her into international orbit -asia,europe south america for recognition of her lifetime work .

she is so busy now that she is refusing to retire from job when there is no need for her to work .

when one door closes ,there are always many which can be opened afresh

perhaps you can start exploring nearby places and then extend to far off.

my mouth is watering for yr tasty menu

I shall take you up on your offer.

with best wishes

dear Sir,
What can't be cured must be endured.
This applies to everything including one's unpleasant relatives. :(
Thank God we still have the choice to choose or friends. :)
My real morning starts at 5-30 A.M.
But my morning in the forum can't start earlier than 10-30 A.M
Thank to the hour long yoga, followed by umpteen odd house hold chores
and cooking and eating brunch.
Some days I wait for my sons to appear for chatting since
my husband would have gone to the market.
I get to post early on those days.
This can happen once a week utmost! :)
I am happy with what I AM DOING IT.
In fact I am most peaceful now in all my life. :)
Diamonds are for those who chase them relentlessly.
Diamonds are not for all persons nor for all purses!
I myself have a pair of ear rings which my mother gave me.
I cherish it as her loving gift.
As for the other diamonds in the family,
either they go to the smartest people in the family
or to the EDUKoNdavAdu Balaji's hundi! :hail:
