Think or sink!

My mother's side is from Nagerkoil and I was born in Nagercoil. Nagercoil used to be a part of Travancore state and then Travancore-cochin(till 1957 or so). Nagercoil - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
After 1957 or so, Nagercoil became part of Tamilnadu. There are many people in Nagercoil who have relatives in Trivandram and so there is a strong connection between Nagercoil and Trivandram (Kerala).

The movie Nizhalkuthu - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Nizhalkuthu is set in Nagercoil Nizhalkuthu is a masterwork for a review.

Happy Onam every one - be from Nagercoil(kerala) or not.

Welcome with more and more interesting info sir! :)

Happy Onam to everyone - whether or not from Kerala!!

Legal cases will pile up higher than the Himalayas since
all the courts seem to deal with are
the cases involving the V.I.P and the V.V.I.P! :hat:
The other Am aadmis /Janata can wait if possible or
fight afresh in their next births. :moony:

The criminals have learned that they are safe as long as
they are in some position in the government
or hold some high post in a rowdy party or
become an M.L.A / M.P - by hook or crook!

How great was the ancient system during the period of kings.
Anyone can get to meet the king immediately
by ringing the bell hung in front of the place and
seek justice by expressing his/her grievances.

I bet many unfortunate women in India and other countries marry dogs :wof:

without knowing their real identity before the wedding. :tsk:

Some of them bark like Alsatian

and the other bite like Aadhi Seshan! :scared:

VRji
some progress is getting made as regards delivering justice to the poor
all undertrials rotting in jail due to non availabillity of bail money and have served half the sentence for which they were booked are getting released without trial'

politicians MPs and MLAs trials are being fast tracked for speedy justice .

archaic laws which have outlived their utility are being weeded out

still a lot remains to be done

if more judges are appointed and they work in shifts besides less vactions delivery of justice might improve.

we can only hope for better times -one man is selling dreams of Achhe din.let us hope for them

all male dogs are not bad . there are some good dogs . loyal to their spouses .doing their bidding.lol

Local panchayath system was fair and effective in those days (kalvettu) and in some village khaps. I had seen a US TV program me in UK, the case is argued and judgment given in 30 minutes. In my case, a property dispute took three years and 19 hearings for the judgment, could have been done in half a day as it was mainly document related.

As my friend used to say,
"Hope for the best and
prepare for the worst!!"

Vettu oNNU thuNdu reNdu must be the
type of approach for these matters. :moony:

No point is waiting the heat cools off and the light fades off
along with the interest and hope of the affected people. :pout:

As a rule I avoid making sweeping statements

since more often than not they will be wrong!

Proof lies in the highlighted words!

it is useful to have such escape words as there are exceptions to every generalised statement .

I have also learnt this after joining this forum

I refrain from make sweeping statements inviting the wrath of some

Everybody becomes wiser after joining a group of varied persons!

Is this a sweeping statement or not? :decision:

If it is, is it right or wrong or both of it at different times??? :noidea:

IT happens every time. :frusty:

I set an impossible deadline. :clock:

I work day and night to accomplish it.

The moment I make it known I fall sick.

Is it nature's way of giving enforced rest??? :noidea:

Sick or not there is plenty of work. :ballchain:

Who / what are the bonded laborers by the way? :ear:

Bondage can be visible or invisible or it can just be

a piece of yellow string tied around the neck!

I will tell you WHY we were bursting with laughter in two of the photos.

(I think in #306 and #307!)

I do not usually take nap in the afternoon. :typing:

But on that day I saw a supernova inside my head and went to bed quietly -

not wishing to frighten my son, D.I.L and grand kids.

On the dot of 3-30 P.M. hot coffee must be served.

I was in a land far far away at that time on that day.

I was rudely awakened from that deep slumber and

a mini world war III ensued and was enacted. :argue:

Next day was the photo shooting session.

When the lady photographer told us to hold hands

I told her with honestly of a frank child,

"Sorry! we are not in talking terms since yesterday"

She rose to the occasion and said,

" I am not telling you to talk to each other.

I just want you to hold hands!"

Everybody burst out laughing and those two became

the most natural laughter photographed so far. :photo:
