Take it Easy way

To just start typing in Tamil in e mails

1.Start an e mail account in gmail
2.in gmail settings select Tamil as optional transliteration language
under languages option
now in your compose box you will fine the letter அ
you can click on that and start typing in the text tranliterated
english tamil as enna sokkiyama etc after pressing space bar
every time the english will automatically change into magic tamil.
cut paste/or copy use even in your chat /anywhere this is
very very simple magic tamil.
for this u can use ctrl+g for toggling in between english and tamilish

for reading works in tamil go to google.co.in and select
just below search tamil as your indian language
you will get things to read in tamil .

goolgle mail after going to settings and under LANGUAGES select Tamil as Transliteration language
and save.
Now you will see in compose Mail a lettter அ that means you can use Tamil in your text
you can use ctrl+G for toggling between English and Tamil as and when needed.
After finishing you can cut paste the entire thing or copy and paste anywhere.
second option....
you can also go to google set without opening a mail and opt for transliteration and get them into
bookmarks tool bar.
